Not necessarily, but you do seem like you care Edit: You all are hysterical. Yes, let's idolize someone who whacks a ball over a net, instead of maybe... I don't know... someone like my neighbor, who raised three kids on his own after his wife passed, volunteers at a food bank, gives blood every month, makes charitable contributions to the local homeless shelter, delivered meals on wheels for years, served his country, and is involved in grassroots politics to better his community. However, I do not believe that a man getting shot by cops is a Men's Rights issue in and of itself unless it somehow has a direct association to a woman receiving less harsh treatment for the same actions. They reeeeeally need to make a False Rape Accusers list for people who have wrongly accused other people of sexual misconduct. Women should have to knock on their neighbors' doors and be like "I'm legally obligated to inform you that I falsely accused a man of rape before". They wouldn't be allowed at bars/pubs and they'd be banned from dating sites.

I've never watched House of Cards despite hearing good things, but is Robin Wright even the main star of the show? And isn't Kevin Spacey like, a lot more famous than Robin Wright? It seems like the fact that it's a scientific term is WHY it's bad. With derogatory words like "faggot", one could argue that the word has an ever-evolving definition and could theoretically no longer be referring to people of homosexual orientation, but rather just a generic word for someone whom you feel is detestable. On the other hand, with a phrase like "you fucking homo" you can't really make the same argument. It's a little harder to argue what the word "retarded" literally means, especia…

I think it has more to do with frequency that span of time. They might have an MO which lends itself to a lot of targets, such as picking up men on the internet who want to be discreet, or people soliciting prostitution. It's a lot easier to get them somewhere willingly, etc etc. And then cops are probably less likely to be inclined to think a woman would kill a bunch of people.

Unfortunately, this is true. It would "discourage" people from reporting offenders. Just like how rape-fabricators don't get punished

"It's a clueless an insensitive metaphor" I'm confused. Did something about The Boy Who Cried Wolf imply that wolf attacks don't actually exist...? I mean I always thought it was an allegory about the importance of telling the truth. But apparently it's actually about how wolf attacks don't actually exist, ergo comparing wolf attacks to rape means rape doesn't exist. I gotta call up my third grade teacher and tell her to stop reading that book to her class because she's perpetuating Wolf Attack …

I'm not saying this is "wrong", per se. But people can use statistics to prove just about any damn thing you want. Let's say there's a small town that has a small homosexual population and a low crime rate, and one day someone who HAPPENS to be gay kills someone. And 8 years later another person who happens to be gay kills someone, and those were the only 2 murders in that town "100% of the murders in this town were committed by homosexuals". It doesn't take into account it only happened twice, …

Make sure you live in a 1-party consent jurisdiction. In some places, like California, all involved parties need to be informed that they're being recorded in order for the audio footage to hold in court.

I was the victim of this once. My ex and I messed around on a bus coming back from a school trip in high school. 6 months later, she decides she's a lesbian and I molested her while she was "asleep". And then she told some people, and this blackbelt tried to fight me (I thought for sure he'd kick my ass, but he didn't even land a single hit) calling me a rapist/molester. Then her friend convinced her she should tell the principal, at which point she didn't have much of a choice but to look me in…

THANK YOU! I don't see what was so hard about explaining that. Besides, for this purpose, no evidence of guilt is evidence of innocence. If I wasn't already an advocate of men's rights and needed convincing, OPs attitude would've convinced me to stay far away from you guys.

.....OHHHH!!! so that's why you're being hella condescending. You think I'm against you. Nah dude. Let's start over.... ...Hi OP, wow, this girl is stupid for wrongfully accusing him of rape. Had they ever even met before? Say, I wonder if his whereabouts during the alleged rape are of public record, or whatever other specific things there were to damage her credibility that was brought before the tribunal, I sure am curious! Especially since I like knowing everything I'm talking about so if som…

I didn't ask which authorities found him innocent, I'm asking what they found to find him innocent. Or what they found at all, for that matter
/r/MensRights07/09/14 01:10 AM

He was found innocent. Good. Great. Fantastic. But if the standards for conviction are so low, then surely SOMETHING noteworthy must've occurred for them to come to that conclusion, and I wanna know what that is. I'm not questioning the validity of it's existence. Fucking shit dude

Well, rape is definitely a serious crime, and therefore a serious accusation. I just wanted to know the facts, and the title of an article saying so is just hearsay. My gf posted the article of the woman to her Facebook, and I wanted to know what I'm talking about when I explain to my gf that that girl was full of shit
