Similar to your understanding of freedom, a philosophy professor of mine used to make the distinction between liberty and freedom, where the former is the absence of external impediments, and the latter, freedom, is rational self-directedness.

The point here is not that one shouldn't have his revenge, but rather, that ghosting is the most potent form of revenge. It's what women fear the most. Reactionary revenge might be more satisfying in the moment - and if a guy has no control over his emotions and actions, so be it - but there's truth in the saying, "revenge is a dish best served cold." Nothing colder than ghosting a girl. Everything else you do to her teaches her you still care.

There's a sentiment I saw expressed in a graphic novel series, Y: The Last Man (after freak worldwide occurrence, he's the last dude - lol), where he says something to the effect of: it's important to get your heart broken when you're young - you're making it strong for when really need it. I think that's a good way of looking at it. Edit: I feel the same way about being in a fight. It's good to get in at least one fight while you're still young. The stakes aren't so high when you're young, and …

When girls have asked me why so many guys hate it it when they find out their girlfriends had been fucked by many different guys in the past, I like to respond: "It's probably no different than you'd feel if you found out your boyfriend had been fucked by many different guys in the past." Of course they say that's different, but really, it's almost the exact same thing. For men and women, sex (done right) is an act of dominance and submission, respectively. No girl wants to think of her guy as s…

"If the problem for a fat woman is that she's not thought of as being attractive, then even if you're right, do you think it would be easier for that woman to lose weight and become attractive by today's standards, or do you think it would be easier for her to reprogram society to accept the standards of the 1700s/1800s." I don't really care if it's nature or nurture, because at this point, my standards are well ingrained, and they're probably not going to change much, even if I concluded they w…

Does she have a sense that you are involved with other women as well? It doesn't sound like you're exclusive, so why wouldn't you be? She's not F-closing with you because she doesn't think she needs to for you to remain interested and devoted. Does she? Do you need to have sex? Because if you do, you will find a way to get it from other women. And she will sense this and then do what it takes to keep you. The problem a lot of guys have, and the problem with one-itis, is that their entire strateg…

I hope you don't come back with anything like, "But you told me to be an asshole!" If you are conveying that sentiment in any sort of way, even without actually saying it, that would weaken her in your eyes, because it means she's controlling you. And while women always try to control a man, not being able to do so is what arouses her, because it means you're stronger than her. Your strongest move now would be to start fucking other chicks. I've fucked two types of Asian girls a lot in my past: those who weren't whores and those who were whores. (Admittedly, many in the former group may only be there by mere technicality.) Almost invariably, the non-whores were tight and the whores were rather loose (occasionally I'd encounter a tight whore as well). Even for the whores who obviously did their kegels, well, it wasn't the same. They could flex and make themselves tight, but it was clear that when relaxed, they were loose. People say…

You've got things completely backwards. It sounds like you're behaving in a manner largely consistent with what TRP suggests (hell, even demonstrating beta behavior at times is recognized by TRP as necessary to establishing a good LTR), and you're using the fact that it's working well as evidence that TRP is wrong regarding a woman's capacity for unconditional love. What do you think would happen if you flipped the script and went 80 to 20 in terms of exchange of affection/emotional attachment w…

Honestly, I'd go with your gut on this. Your other explanations don't seem very convincing, and my experience has been that one's gut picks up on things that may easily be - but should not be - rationalized away. It seems odd to show interest in learning more about one particular single friend of yours. Women usually think they're being subtle when they're trying to pick your brain about something, but generally, they're not. I wouldn't get too thrown off either about her seeming perfect in most…

You must walk away. That connection you feel with her, where everything clicks and you feel like you've known someone your whole life - it's a great feeling, but that's not what pulls a woman in. (It doesn't necessarily repel her, but she's not going to choose you as a sexual partner merely based on that.) Your blue-pill conditioning makes you think that the connection is what it's all about and that this is what you've been looking for so long. It's not (or at least it shouldn't be). Without he…

I can't believe this basic concept hasn't been mentioned, but if you're been fucking her and it's obvious to her that there are things you want to do and she remains unwilling, it might be time for a little soft dread. Withdraw a little. Don't be so available. Hell, don't be so sexual. Get her wondering why. As much as she has hangups about her sexuality, she will recoil at any sense that your desire for her is waning. She'll likely convince herself that it's due to your sexual frustration, and …

I've partaken quite a bit in the past, and very occasionally still, but I generally don't think it's a good thing. It really is just another form of beta sex, and I don't think it's much different from receiving duty sex, sex from a girl who wants you for what you can buy for her, manipulative sex, or lots of other types of sex that are available to betas, whose value is derived from what they can provide for a woman, not from who they are. If those types of sex are your only options, however, t…

Well first of all, when girls have lots of sexual partners - especially at the same time - they get called sluts and whores - and predominantly by other women, who will shun and ostracize these girls. Second of all, "player," "douche," and "asshole" are all compliments; they're a sign that you're doing it right. Even when you're being shamed, you're being shamed because women don't like that they can't help being attracted to guys like you, and beta men fear that the women they like will end up …

One thing I've seen with doctor/doctor marriages (I know tons of doctors, because my particular ethnicity - at least in the US - pushes the kids to medicine above all else, both for males and females, though with less intensity for females) is that the husband is almost always practicing in a field that is of higher stature than the wife. For example, she may be a pediatrician, while he would be a surgeon, or at least a specialist. Sometimes they are both of equal stature, sure, but I can't reca…

It's pretty what these other commenters are saying, but it's more than that too. As one commenter said, it used to be called the rationalization hamster, but it seems these other commenters are fixating on the rationalization element without implicating the hamster element. I say this as somebody who seems to come across not so different than you, but there's something you may not quite have accepted (and it was hard for me to accept this). Even though you concede you are not a natural alpha, you also go out of your way to note that that girls may "think" you're beta, that they "interpret your actions as beta," etc., as if they could be mistaken about this. They're not. While there may be many ways to demonstrate "alpha" behaviors or characteristics, there is but o…

One reason is that on a primal level, a woman is attracted to an alpha male because she wants his babies. Even if on a practical level this is not what she seeks, even if she's not consciously aware of it, that is from where female sexual arousal most profoundly arises.

I had very different experiences working for lesbians. They were like football coaches, so intense, but they rewarded results and were very harsh on those who didn't perform. I was cool with the ones I reported to, I was promoted while working for them, and two later served as references for me. They were particularly harsh on cutesie girls who were used to skating by and getting their way (sometimes unfairly assuming that every cute girl fell into this category). That's brutal. On one hand, it's good you realize you have some work to do. On the other hand, I think you have more work to do than you realize. But as they say, a thousand-mile journey begins with one step. It does sound like you're pedestalizing this girl and holding out hope that if you tighten your game, you can get her. This is the wrong mentality to have. It shows you've made her the goal, and not a better you. Let it go. Completely. There will be others when you're ready, and it doesn't …

This is AWALT. Specifically, this is an extrapolation of Briffault's Law, namely, "The female, not the male, determines all the conditions of the animal family. Where the female can derive no benefit from association with the male, no such association takes place." Now this does, as here, play itself out beyond determining the "conditions of the family." In your situation, which is really quite common, the female gains a benefit from the male by asking for and receiving a small favor. The naive …

The hatred is a byproduct of letting go of the lies and illusions men (and women, for that matter) have been fed. Not everybody goes through it, and it is in no way a state or sentiment that should last or be aspired to. Rather, it reflects a lack of understanding and a lingering bitterness that for so long, that individual had been misled to his detriment. Men who have done what it takes to improve themselves, take control of their lives, and see reality for what it is, and have accepted this r…

There's a difference between being cheap and being frugal. Your description sounds more like frugal, if those are the most extreme examples of her behavior. Cheap is more like you refuse to tip a socially acceptable amount, you are dishonest so as to save some money, you spend an inordinate amount of time to save a little bit of money, you're willing to accept unsafe and unsanitary conditions to save a few bucks, you refuse to spend a little money on fun, you freak out over a little bit of money…

The difference between a man sleeping with many women and a woman sleeping with many men is like the difference between riding a bike uphill and riding a bike downhill: they may look the same, but one requires strength, effort, and dedication, while the other requires just sitting there and letting nature take its course.

It depends on what you mean by a sexual harasser. Morally, no, you should not feel like a sexual harasser. Legally, however, you could be vulnerable to being painted as such under the circumstances presented. In and of itself, some feminists and law makers and enforcers would consider what you've done to reflect some sort of sexual assault, and remember, if it ever came to that, it would be your word against hers. The problem is that her word will be given more value than yours, and she knows it…

When she told you that she wishes she met you later in life, you should have told her that she wouldn't have a shot at you later in life. I'm not kidding. Of course, it would probably have started a fight, and she easily could have cried about it, but she would at least have been delivered an important message about how as time moves on, your value will be going up, and her value will be going down. You can be nice, but if she needs to hear an uncomfortable truth, so be it.

Well, I'm not sure that this one is fake and don't claim to be, and I question those who do claim to be sure in such situations. These posts come up all the time - and I'm sure many are fake - but the comments still always amaze me. It's not really red pill, insofar as it's not about sexual strategy. It is a book I think that would really resonate with many of those who have swallowed the pill: Matterhorn - published in 2010. It's about a platoon of American soldiers in the Vietnam war, written over the course of 35 years by a marine who fought there (and was also a Rhodes Scholar). This is something you may not be able to tell right away, but I firmly believe this: a good work ethic. It's something my father once pointed out about my mother, and it definitely stuck. Now I'm not saying she should be career-oriented and overly ambitious - I'm not talking about paid employment (though when a woman undertakes the responsibility of a job and is lazy about it or does it listlessly, without dedication, I think that would be a red flag). It's 100% nature. That's the whole point. The fundamental principle on which TRP is based is that men and women are different, or more specifically, the nature of men is different than the nature of women. I'm not chastising you - you're new to this and just asking a question - but I can't understand other commenters who say it doesn't matter or it shouldn't be your concern. Okay, I don't know if this is good advice - it's easy to see why it's questionable - but it popped into my head, and it might be worth considering something along these lines. You could go nuclear in one well-timed instance and end this behavior for good. I'm not saying it's the necessarily the situation you're talking about, but I have seen guys who won't go for girls unless they are exceptionally high quality, and therefore, they're almost always on the sidelines, lamenting how subpar the available girls are. I can't believe the jackass in that post is being touted in any way whatsoever as reflecting anything close to TRP ideals or goals. He is absolutely a little blue pill bitch and is unworthy of (and I suspect incapable of commanding) a girl's fidelity. I personally think this is totally natural. I don't see this point brought up much expressly here, but I'm of the belief that in an analogous manner to which the nature of the human female is hypergamous, the nature of the human male is polygamous. In the situation as you described it, it sounds fine to let her go. One concern that may or may not be relevant, however, is if they will spend time trying to set her up with somebody from their home country. There is evidence to suggest why cold showers would stimulate fat loss and enhance metabolism, and it has to do with "brown adipose tissue" ("BAT"), which is distinct from our normal adipose tissue. In particular, when it is activated by cold exposure, BAT stimulates body heat to avoid shivering. This increases a body's energy expenditure and increases metabolism, which correlate with fat loss. Here are some links to articles that came up after a very quick search on google scholar: http://schol…

Iirc, the theory espoused in the book "Sex at Dawn" (which I realize is not congruent with TRP and is oft-criticized by the academic community) is that a female bonobo is loud during sex to attract other males in the vicinity to come and join in, because she's revved up and ready for more. This is consistent with the observation that bonobos are known to be quite promiscuous. tl;dr: "All aboard! The train is leaving the station."

If I had a 6, I'd bang the 9. If I had a 9, I'd bang the 6. The corollary to female hypergamy is male polygamy. They seek better, we seek more. One alpha can bring true satisfaction to a woman. No single woman can bring true satisfaction to a man, and committing to one, no matter how amazing she is, is a sacrifice a man makes that a woman can never really understand. And if I were married to a 9 or a 6, I'd stay true to my vows. Just as marriage was intended to constrain a woman's hypergamy, so …

Sex tends to strongly bond a woman to a man - and generally only to one man at a time (i.e., pair bonding). This is good for producing stable families. It's also why promiscuous women are thought to be less trustworthy - having multiple partners tends to diminish this ability to bond strongly, so these women tend to be less loyal, because while loyalty to a man tends to arise more from a sense of duty, honor, and a belief that his word is his bond, loyalty from a woman is produced when she feels…

A relationship can work out if the woman is the primary breadwinner, but it's more difficult. There's much more of a template for relationships where the man and the woman each has a defined role based on their biological strengths and weaknesses. It doesn't mean other ways don't work, but you're kind of just making up shit as you go along when you deviate from what's been shown to work rather well. Many mistakes will be made (and it's not like the traditional way is easy to begin with). I'd say…

Cold showers are next-level alpha self-development as far as I'm concerned. Every time someone says "lift heavy things," they should also be saying, "take cold showers." (Or to really kick it up a few notches, "take ice baths," but I'm not there ... yet.) Cold showers - or cold exposure to the entire body - is thought to have so many benefits, including increased testosterone, increased metabolism and body temperature, increased muscle growth, increased fat loss, better circulation, improved imm…

I once ran into an alternate explanation of female attraction to the alpha that dismissed the role of hypergamy. Though I'm not necessarily convinced by it, I did find it very thought-provoking, and it's kind of stayed with me. I will note that it comes from a religious perspective, so some may be inherently dismissive of it. I'm not a religious man, and I don't think that the argument necessarily crumbles when the religion is taken out, particularly in the explanation of why a woman finds the a…

It's been awhile since I've read it, but I believe the book, "The Manipulated Man," which many consider to be required red pill reading, in part lays out a case about why this is in fact true. dontmarry.files.wordpress.com/2008/08/the_manipulated_man.pdf It's a rather frightening foray into the female psyche.

If guys like that get suckered into polyamory, they should at least have the good sense to make rule number one be: "I will be banging hookers. The expensive kind. A lot." I bet this guy's wife's enthusiasm for polyamory would have waned once she realized he might actually get to enjoy the bodies of other women.

Hard fat is a sign of a greater degree of poor health than soft fat (at least hard belly fat). It's more strongly associated with diabetes, heart disease, stroke, etc. Basically, soft fat is the squishy fat between one's skin and abdominal wall, and hard fat is fat that has surrounded the abdominal organs. I'm not saying soft fat is fine, but hard fat is a more extreme sign of a body in decline.

I'm not really sure what an alpha is without betas. There's a leader of the pack, and there's the pack. Alpha and beta are pretty much defined with respect to each other. In isolation, I don’t see how one is alpha or beta, only potentially one or the other. And if you're hanging out with a bunch of would-be alphas, only one of you will be the alpha in that context - that's a truth not many of you have swallowed. I guess TRP has taken the original, scientific, and value-neutral meanings of these …

There are a lot, yes, but it's more than that. If you're in a more educated, successful, accomplished situation or setting, you're probably selecting more for Asians in general, so it seems like there's even more. And as far as asian chicks go, it's not just the "geek guy/asian girl" thing either - though there's obviously plenty of that. Asian chicks, it seems, have an enhanced social value here over white chicks across the board. Tons of guys of all kinds pretty clearly prefer them, and it pis…
