That would be a good first step in some fields. And that's what I'm calling for. I'm not suggesting a mass strike going all to work in shorts and tank tops. Though if women could even not show up at work at a certain date, why shouldn't we be able to appear in rebellious outfit and still do our jobs? Again - double standarts to the second. Many people. There's peer/management pressure if not for small gifts, at least for а bunch of flowers. For every woman. In female-dominated entities that have 50 women to less than 10 men in the stafff that converts to a 3-4 lunch meals' worth.. Refusing to co-opt, one will be branded rude and become a pariah..

Improving relations cannot work one way only. If women will laugh at the idea of men's day, why should I have to compliment them on 8th of March or buy gifts and flowers..? A nice thing is one that makes everyone happy, not just one class at the expense of another.. If that logic stands.. Why do you think men will be more honest, doesn't is work the same way..? They will tell you don't go after easy girls, don't waste your time with gold-diggas, low-value, high-maintenance-value, etc. All while they probably do it themselves since that's the easy way, float with the stream..

Yeah, but even these events are made by men for other men. You don't have women celebrate it with you, congratule you, bring gifts, etc. to pay tribute like men do for women's day. Neither the media will pay attention. I was actually triggered when I saw today youtube's home button branded with ''women's day'' and when you click it it redirects to some UK women's day channel. We don't get such attention and support by the mainstream for men's day.
