What does ‘listen’ mean in this context? What are the women not doing and then start doing once yelled at?

There are just as many women who want the same. Abundance both ways, yay.

Online dating involves obvious risks to women.

What’s an example of a long term healthy society?

‘Have a guy’ in the context of online dating apps means have sex with him once after a couple of dubious DMs. A lot of women have zero interest in this ‘abundance’.

Said psychologist defines good communication as 'valuing your own internal world and respecting your ideas enough to communicate them effectively'. Good communication is not just about being knowledgeable and open to talking about shit other people find interesting. Are you ok with these relationships being platonic? And if you're not ok and are actually interested in any of these friends romantically, are you communicating this to them? Are you setting clear boundaries and voicing your needs ap…

I don't make men wait. Sometimes the attraction is instant, sometimes it takes time to develop, sometimes it doesn't develop at all. In all these cases, I'm waiting for my body to give me a signal to proceed further.

No, you shouldn’t. You like him too much despite his vague behaviour so FWB is a pathway to get hurt more.

What do your friends who are girls have to say about the situation? Can they give you any feedback or suggestions?

It happens both ways. Sometimes you like someone the first time you see them, and sometimes it takes a while for interest to develop. If you’re relying only on that initial spark to cold approach people then your strike rate will be pretty low (as illustrated by OP’s post). Many things have to line up - you like the girl, they like you, they are single, you can say something to them that builds interest and trust in those initial couple of minutes without sounding off-putting etc. And if you’re …

That’s way too soon to be asking for someone’s number. There has to be mutual interest for things to go further. Why not do what you like - work, volunteering, hobbies - and through that meet people, take time getting to know them and letting them get to know you and then take things from there?
