| -1 | Well said good sir. Well said...I'd assert that there is a strong positive correlation between attractiveness and social skills that's often overlooked. It's "creepy" if a guy repeatedly hits on a girl who is sending clear signals that she isn't interested, due to him not being able to interpret them. An "attractive" guy is much more likely to be able to determine if a girl is receptive. | /r/MensRights | 09/05/16 11:47 AM |
"Nobody ever told me: you don’t have to waste years trying to figure out how to be a “man” because the whole concept is horseshit." How not to be a boy: Robert Webb on growing up, and losing a parentI'm only familiar with him from his comedy. I don't think that terminology is helpful - people aren't one dimensional and I think opinion pieces such as this can be judged on their own merits. I'm always willing to hear someone out even if I think I'm going to disagree if they're genuine - it's easy to fall into the trap of only listening to those who reaffirm our own positions. | /r/MensRights | 31/12/14 04:36 PM
If you want to know what “Rape Culture” really looks like, just pay a visit to Islamic-State-held territory in Iraq and Syria. There is no rape culture at any USA college. It is no coincidence that most of the angry young women making these complaints are childless. You've a serious fucking chip on your shoulder surrounding race. Most of us weren't even alive in Till's time. Are you responsible for the actions of all your ancestors? Is it some sort of fucking crime to advocate for the rights of all men regardless of creed or race? You'd swear this was stormfront the way you're going on. | /r/MensRights | 30/12/14 06:37 PM
"Nobody ever told me: you don’t have to waste years trying to figure out how to be a “man” because the whole concept is horseshit." How not to be a boy: Robert Webb on growing up, and losing a parentThought this was a really solid piece which hit home for me on multiple levels. It's refreshing to read an article on gender and masculinity which doesn't feel the need to add "balance" where none is required - it's one man's very candid retrospective. | /r/MensRights | 30/12/14 11:05 AM
"More than 90% of the 1 million boys living on the streets in Pakistan are sexually abused "I think this is a really important point for the MRA movement to have any kind of credibility. There exist many patriarchal societies in the developing world in which women are oppressed. Acknowledgement of this does not detract from the issues that affect men that are highlighted in this sub, nor does it imply acceptance of the assertion that women are systematically oppressed in western civilisation while men reap the benefits of "the Patriarchy". | /r/MensRights | 18/05/14 12:18 PM

Just a Little Comparison That Needed to be DoneI'd rather we stayed away from these /r/atheism type infographics. No citations for any of the information, and comes across as quite childish. I don't think this is going to sway anyone to our cause. | /r/MensRights | 27/08/12 11:39 AM
