Is circumcision really that regular among men? Is this just an American thing, because as someone has said, it's not covered by the NHS in England and I've never heard it happening among Irish people.

It's a joke that has started to be taken seriously and gaining some traction, sadly.

Is this not just really offensive for women?
/r/MensRights03/08/15 03:44 PM

This is very true. I was once talking to a woman on a dating site and she told me how breakups don't affect men. I told her how ludicrous that was and that of course it does, we're just expected to hide it and shrug it off.

Admitting you need to focus on yourself is not selfish. It's damn smart.

Yea, I have to echo this. They're not your flesh and blood. You're not involved with their mother. I get that you're trying to help and that you love them, but is it worth being in a toxic and abusive situation?

You're very welcome. And congratulations for actually accepting that there is a problem as opposed to pretending everything is fine. When you accept there's a problem you can then proceed to fixing shit. And never think you're broken. You're not broken. You're just a work in progress :)

Then fight back against depression. You're not a quitter are you? Don't let it control you. You control it. There's no guarantee that it'll ever go away BUT you can get better at dealing with it. You owe it to yourself to fix th…

What exactly would be available in these vets programs?
/r/MensRights28/07/15 10:02 AM

Congratulations with the nursing! Why don't you try and move into this. You say the universe is determined to stop you, but it's not. Keep going. You've been through war. You've survived. How in the fuck can anything keep you down? I should say that I offer this advice as someone who has not been through what you have been, so would you know of anyone who has been in a similar position that you could get advice from?

It's probably attributing to the issue when you're saying that being OK with your feelings and expressing them is "acting like a woman".

Are there any shelters available to you? Temporary accommodation? I'm a little wary about giving advice, because I don't know exactly what might be available to an ex-soldier or what would be in America.

Could you stay with anyone else? It sounds like an unbearable toxic environment.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
