This is great post, not just for break-ups, but for depression in general!

What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.

I was literally thinking that this weekend. On Sunday, I could swear more looking than usual. Good to know

Yes. Even a proper to do list can give you dopamine. Crossing your life admin off a list gives you dopamine. While the admin itself may not.

All the weaklings complaining in this thread. https://www.google.com/amp/s/beta.washingtonpost.com/news/speaking-of-science/wp/2017/12/12/women-rate-the-strongest-men-as-the-most-attractive-study-finds/%3foutputType=amp There was no nuance to these results, he said. Zero of the 160 women surveyed showed a statistical preference for weaker men. So get out there and build your body through exercise. Build your mind through learning. Build your lifestyle through fun.

Haha.. Oh god, journalistic hamstering. "It's all men's fault!! Waaaaaa :'(" But they accidentally hit on the truth: "Previously, Shepherd leaned heavily on women for emotional intimacy because—shocker—that’s who he felt safest with. The problem was, he became dependent on the women he opened up to and kept repeating the cycle." Feminism has created scores of emotionally weak men who need mothering. And in their LTRs start blubbering like halfwits. Which turns off their partner and leads to brea…

"Take" my friend Impart would be to teach a course. Which, if you are at that level would be good too tbh!

"That’s why a lot of therapists suggest talking about having sex a while before you start and getting the mental engine revved up." It's funny when these betas skirt round the edge of truth. Someone smarter than I summed it up: "Sex is on your mind and your actions reflect it. You should be undressing her with your eyes, spanking her/grabbing her ass every chance you get, escalating often, and whispering dirty things you want to do to her in her ear, grabbing her thigh when you're driving, etc. …

Do a graphic design course. Go learn improv. Go do a cooking class. All of these things will be full of eligible girls to game.

Hobbies are the core piece of the puzzle that many forget. You mention it perfectly with - girls eyes light up when you say you're learning tarot. Learning interesting things makes you interesting, forces you into the world (away from porn/tv temptation) and puts you in proximity of girls you can game in settings outside of bars/clubs.

I feel for you brother. I've got a good buddy as gay as 10 Mardi Gras parades in a row. When he looks at straight relationship dynamics he always says he lucked out to dodge that shit. And it's a shit show out there a lot of the time. The only advice I can give is if you are in a big city head out to some outlying towns to see the girls out there. These girls aren't unicorns. But they often are little more conservative in their values, live with their folks and still feel shame to put out too so…

This is the what feminism has brought about lady. What do you expect. Women enabled to have easy fucks with whomever they like. Means the right men (rich, hot, confident) have all the options in the world and no need to commit to get the benefits of sex or female company. Ultimately if they are not commiting to you it's a) you're not hot enough and b) why commit when on any given night 3 other girls are 1 text message away from a hook-up.

I get pumped and dumped a lot, which is great (woo girl power!) but something inside me wants more. This confuses me, aren't I supposed to be happy? Spot on

https://www.nber.org/papers/w14969 By many objective measures the lives of women in the United States have improved over the past 35 years, yet we show that measures of subjective well-being indicate that women's happiness has declined both absolutely and relative to men. The paradox of women's declining relative well-being is found across various datasets, measures of subjective well-being, and is pervasive across demographic groups and industrialized countries. Relative declines in female happ…

My last breakup fully redpilled me. She was a high tier woman. 8 across looks, mind and personality. She found someone better. No judgement on her - that's just hypergamy at work. Instead I know to regroup and grow professionally, lift heavier weights and keep trucking on being a better man. A man that these high tier women want and are afraid to lose. I'm the prize and a little adversity will forge me.

you don't need to be top 20% across all men, just of the available options. which is exactly why you should delete your OLD and go day game

Yep. For most of history women reached puberty between ages 15 and 17

The second category is an ex of mine to a T. She does not have time, and never has had to keep herself in tip-top shape. I can't see the future. But you can predict what stress, poor sleep, hit and miss diet due to working 7am to 1am 5 days a week will do to her in 20 years. She sure as fuck is not going to find it that easy to pull 45 y.o. men

The dating pool for young men is just as woeful: Used up sluts with 100+ N counts Entitled fat chicks who refuse to take responsibility for their health Post wall chad chasers Single mothers looking for a bailout BPD crazies Unfaithful, unloyal manipulators Insufferable feminists who won't take responsibility for their own situations or self improvement

These women are so entitled to someone else's resources. It's wild. What an era to live in.

100% While I respect her opinion. There is no way I'd date her. She sounds exhausting, the last thing I need is a lecture after a long week. A nice, fun conversation sure. But she seems like the type who would rant. Which probably sums up her problem finding and keeping men like me (28, physically decent, politically centrist, good job, financially stable).

I'm not even sure I believe in marriage or even traditional, monogamous relationships "I'm looking for a commitment, but I don't want to commit and might want to bang other dudes. Also FYI I'm really busy, so you'll have to 100% fit to my schedule." Sound like a real catch.....
