Ancestry DNA doesn't offer a health test at the moment, so the study you were linking doesn't apply. But in defense of 23AndMe, their test is inaccurate only to the point that DTC DNA tests only sequence specific genes. To get a proper medical diagnosis for a genetic condition requires the sequencing of other genes that aren't included in the typical test, otherwise you do risk a false positive.
