Great answer. "Money is amoral." Very true.

I think this was a well written and unbiased article. It's good to see these issues getting more attention. I don't think this is a case of femininst vs men either. Our entire society, men included, still holds a double standard when it comes to coerced or forced sex. It's wrong.

That is an excellent book. I highly recommend it as well.

Who says only women can use it? Why not turn those tables and use it to take notes on chicks... like how likely she is to put out. Pretty sure that would not fly, and not saying you should, just that you could.

What is the point of going in there and downvoting comments that we don't agree with (i.e. women trying to be 'supportive' instead of being tough on her and calling her an abuser -- which she is)? These comments still contribute to the conversation, and I don't think downvoting is the answer. A civil, metered discussion is better.

I couldn't believe it when I read the translated quote in the NYT from the accuser talking to her boyfriend: "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. This guy's got a lot of money."

I know the British Royal Family owns a ton of land, but do they really own the entire United Kingdom as well as all of the land in the British Commonwealths? The article refers to her ownership in terms of 'Royal title.' If I buy a piece of property in the UK, don't I own it, and not Queen Elizabeth?

All I know is, if she looks that good in a mugshot, she must be pretty hot in real life.

To be fair, the article says that one in five contested paternity suits show that the mother named the wrong father. This doesn't represent 100% of the child support cases (though all men would be smart to get a paternity test).

Whenever WSJ publishes a not-100%-politically-correct column, It is always very well written and argued, and then throws in the kicker at the end. Here, of course, it is that the author is a woman. Great column.

I'm also wondering how they WH is defining 'sexual assault' here. It might not be 'rape' (they specifically refer to 'sexual assault and rape'). Could this be definition drift, where some things that might have been classified as sexual harassment become 'assault'?

I think the site is down now, but full text is here: "Scoring free drinks is easier than you think. Give these fail- proof ways a try, and enjoy night after night of free drinking. Just remember, picking the right guy is crucial. You can't go for a guy who is there with his girlfriend. Pick a guy who is chilling near the bar. You can always count on “bros” because their frat bothers will usually be there cheering them on to get chicks. Use intense eye contact. (The most obvious and most importan…

It's kind of hard to tell what's going on in this video. Do any of the bystanders try to do anything? Are people sympathetic to the man who is getting abused?

"in about 25% of the sexual assault cases referred to the FBI, ... the primary suspect has been excluded by forensic DNA testing. -That means 25% or more rapes are false." Although I like the sentiment of your post and your point in this section, you make a pretty big error of logic here. Just because the primary suspect of a rape was exonerated by DNA testing does not mean that no rape occurred. It is likely that in most cases (these being primarily violent, stranger-rapes) the police simply ne…

Why is there a link with a picture of a naked "hot girl of the week" on the side? It's small, but still-- can't normal websites be sfw?

You have no obligation to worry about anyone besides you. You always have a choice in these situations, and leaving your wife is the clear correct choice here. Don't put the wellbeing of people who treat you like shit above your own.
