I think it is far more than the statistic, and people mislabel or misrepresent assault and rape as other things or do not recognize them. I only realized last week that ten years ago an ex attempted to rape me.

Even if it was a typo, everything you said is correct. Wives don't go NC on their husband for no reason after 11 years.

You're 100% right. I also think it's important to note that in a case of pedophilia the "relationship" does not become less abusive when the victim can legally consent. The whole "relationship" was built on abuse and continued to be abusive from beginning to end.

Christ. I'm sorry to bring this up because this is your life and not a joke, but is it possible he was going to try to kill you? This is some psychotic break killing spree behavior if I've ever seen it.

And she thinks that refusing sex makes them respect her. Her bf is afraid of lack of sex and his bro is certainly empathetic to his bro's possible lack of sex. No respect for her involved.

All you did was tell the truth. HR and his boss agreed that his actions crossed the line and he was a liability for the company. They fired him because of what he did, not because of you telling them. If you didn't tell them, he would gain confidence that his actions didn't have consequences and he would do it again to the next woman, but he would escalate.

This is perfect. OP, Saying you're responsible for the way someone treated you is like blaming a rape victim for the clothes she was wearing. Is it possible you could have had FDS standards sooner and prevented some of the injustices which have happened to you? Maybe, maybe not. Either way, it's not your fault someone treated you poorly.

I sent it to a friend who was recently cheated on by a NVM who has no remorse. She never responded, so I doubt she looked into it. I really wish she would. Just reading FDS would help so much.

I went and scoped it out. The majority of the comments said he's the TA, but there was a whole lot of, "Dude, you can't pour from an empty cup. Good job, bro."

Someone brought up in the comments that she can't tell her kids because it could be considered alienation, and they might take the kids from her and give them to him for that. The commenter claims it happened to her.

Even more proof that they watch porn because they hate women.

Most of the comments told her to run for the hills, but one told her to cOmMuNiCaTe HeR fEeLiNgS to him. Four months later she posted again asking how long she should wait for a commitment. My eyes rolled too far back in my head and now they're stuck.

One of my criminal justice professors pointed out that not being in control is bullshit, because if her dad walked in with a baseball bat at that same moment, he would absolutely stop what he was doing.

I saw an AITA not too long ago with a similar scenario where OP found out after talking to her fiance that he was trying to bait her into breaking up with him. He couldn't even take responsibility for the breakup and wanted her to do. it. for. him.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
