Went through this exact same thing. My husband wouldn’t tell me when, because he knew I loved surprises and he wanted the whole thing to be perfect. Looking back on it, it was the perfect proposal (for me), and I wish that I had just been more patient about the whole thing. If he treats you well, and you know that he loves you, then try to hold on and wait a little more, because it’ll be worth it in the end. :)

I know how you feel, but no one's relationship is going to be sunshine and roses 24/7. I love my fiance, but we had and still have things we have to work at because neither of us is perfect, and you are merging your life with another's. But it's worth it. And I'm grateful that we didn't rush things (although I had wanted to several times) and dated for 6 years, as it gave us time to communicate better and love each other more. He is my third boyfriend, and I barely dated. Stop comparing yourself…

Maybe you could cook something nice for him? It could be his favorite cookies, or a nice dinner. It might depend on the guy though. I know my boyfriend loves it, since he knows I put a lot of effort into it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
