Nooo? We’ve just never had snakes - before the colonialists arrived we barely had anything other than native birds, insects and the odd lizard.

If it's a public toilet I look, but I never had to growing up (all my family put the lid down). And I don't really need to now, to be honest - the place I work has really clean bathrooms, my flatmates aren't savages and I hardly ever use toilets in malls or whatever (though as I said, if it's a public loo, I always check). As for the times I have sat on the lid / slipped on the rim - always at home or when I was in boarding school - generally a combination of me having piss poor eye-sight, not b…

Any time I've sat on the seat or slipped on the rim it was at home or at school / in the boarding house - if it's a public toilet I always check. But as for how I actually manage to sit on the seat or slip; I've got poor vision, I'm not a morning person, I'm naturally clumsy and I'm a bit of a daydreamer. Oh this was at home or at school (I was a boarder), not in a public toilet like in a mall or something.

I mean, he likely did get the odd look (old guy in a skirt with a noticeably lazy eye, bound to draw in the arseholes) but honestly for us students it was weirder on the few days he wore trousers to work. It just wasn't him, ya know? He always answered when he was asked why he wore women's skirts - "they're not women's skirts, I bought them, I'm a man - they're men's skirts!" Plus, he was just a really cool guy, always made time for his students and taught us a lot about directing/camera work/so…

My media teacher in high school thought this, he wore a skirt pretty much every single day, and our prefects wore kilts (private school with Scottish heritage). Guys should absolutely wear skirts/dresses if it's more comfortable for them.
