Giving a BJ is one of the nicest things a woman can do to/for a man. If you enjoy doing it, it will be pleasure for both of you.

I think meditating could possibly help you cultivate a certain level of equanimity. (In your case Vipassana meditation could be very helpful)

I understand very well the situation you are in, it is easy to make friends with men. I don't agree with the other commenters that all the male friends are necessarily waiting for an opportunity for sex - unless you are extremely pretty and your male friends are all "beta-types" (for lack of a better term). Assuming these male friends are not woke/left wing, perhaps they could be a source for females that you match with, you could discuss your issue with them, they are your friends after all, ri…

This lifestyle obviously is not for you. It hurts you! You are both still very young, you have your whole life in front of you, don't accept anything that doesn't feel good or right to you. I think breaking up is the best course of action in this case. He will probably not be able to have a monogamous relationship, but since you seem to really love this man, you should give him the option. Many men sincerely love the women in their lives but still desire other women. If it were up to men, many w…

This is painful to read! Please do not marry this man! It is not fair to him or yourself. The way you talk about him and describe him are a testimony to your lack of respect for him. The dynamics of this relationship are totally skewed. In fact, this will be spiraling into an even worse situation. If you insist on staying with this man, I recommend working on the relationship (with professional help, if need be) and on yourself. We can only change our lives (and relationships) by changing oursel…

I think you are creating a problem where there is none. Any man worth your time shouldn't give a f about your financial status. You are not homeless (even then). A mechanic and a grocery shop owner sounds like a (very!!) respectable family to me. Men are not looking for wealth in a woman, but for purity of character, warmth and integrity. However, trying to "keep up appearances" (pretending to appear rich while you are not) could be a turn off and it could also come over as if you are looking fo…

When it comes to good arguments I think the argument of the husband doing his part by working hard to provide for the family is solid.

I will not comment on the rest of his statements, but in regard to the press/media/Hollywood I will go a lot further: The primary function of the press/media/Hollywood is social engineering, manipulation of public opinion, and censorship. Yes, indeed ... it is a large propaganda machine! And it is not for the benefit of the population, but for the benefit and maintenance of the status quo for the "owners" (in the George Carlin sense) of the world. I hope more and more people will start to see it…

It is indeed hard to recover from lies and the things you have created. Once trust has eroded it will be very hard to reestablish it. It will take time. The only way is to make him clearly see that you have made a new start, a new strong decision, a solemn oath, a very serious commitment to him and the relationship. First make sure you are truly ready to make a dead serious commitment to being absolutely honest, open and sincere toward him. If you are ready and you can really handle the commitme…

If you have been dating for three months, aren't you already in some kind of relationship? What is the big difference between the dating that you are doing now and the "relationship" you have in mind in your and - more importantly - his eyes? I understand his need to focus on his career, as this is fundamentally important at his age, but why would a meaningful relationship not be supportive of that? You mention that your values and goals are very compatible. What is his goal in regard to having …

I am sorry to hear about your low self esteem. This is undermining almost all aspects of life. It certain sets the tone in your interaction with men. It is not easy to change, but I think it can be done. Working on your self esteem should be given utmost priority! ....but at times I still don’t feel like I look good enough to be in a relationship. If this were true there would be no ugly (I know the word offends people) people in relationships, while we know that this is not so. How and where …

It is not about your looks but about your self esteem. You probably are swayed by the fact that a guy (any guy) may like you and wants to "get close to you" (i.e. have sex), instead of looking at a guy with a discriminating mind in order to determine if this guy is worthy of your attention, time (and ultimately .... affection). This will change the entire dynamic of your interactions with men. You may think that if you don't give in soon he may lose interest, while the opposite is true. Taking y…

You are making it very difficult for yourself, unnecessarily so! You have to make a decision: either trust your bf, or don't (but than don't get engaged!). Obviously, we readers don't know, but by what you have written I get the impression that your bf is a solid, good man. You have chosen him as your partner, so you should trust yourself and him. If you know, deep in your heart, that he is honest, honorable, caring and mature then simply surrender (fully) to your trust and let go of your jealou…

What is exactly the problem with him exercizing, building a great physique, and becoming fit and healthy? You have elaborated on "your problem", but I still don't understand why it is a problem, or what the problem is? Are you jealous of him spending all that time in his gym instead of paying attention to you?

People always say that communication is the most important thing in a relationship. I always correct them and say "Great sex is the most important thing! The rest will follow".

This lukewarm lack of enthusiasm and feeling of mismatch incompatibility is no basis for a marriage or future. That must be clear to anyone. Better to cut your losses and move on. Meanwhile perhaps books like: "How to not die alone" by Logan Ury and "The Surrendered Wife" by Laura Doyle can help defining what you want/need and how to get it.

I totally agree with you! You really provided an excellent response. While reading OP's post I picked up on the things you mentioned. The two examples given basically say the same thing: ... not making conversation. I stayed there just to be near him. Finally I got tired of waiting for him to engage with me so I got up and left to another room. He tried making conversation at that point but I was over it. Two more hours later he heads to bed, tried again to warm up to me. It makes me feel like a…

Make it a rule for yourself that: "If I can't, I must!" So, if you are afraid to do something, or some insecurities are stopping you in your tracks, or you think you are not able to do something, you have to do it!

Read "The Surrendered Wife" by Laura Doyle. It will be an eye opener! (the author is a feminist - in case your feminist inner self will start protesting the deliberately controversial title)

Not just the costs but also the hassle. A divorce cost a lot of time & energy sorting things out, administrative stuff, etc. Coming out of a bad relationship, settling into a new place also cost energy and time (and money). I think he just wants to take his time.
