"6 feet" sounds more absolute than "182,9 centimeters" or "1,829 metres" and it's very unusual for women to think they need a 2 meters tall dude. A woman going "I need a man who is 185 cm tall" just sounds petty and weird, and while the feet version sounds petty and weird to me too as a European, I think it has been far more easily normalized in USA as a weird sort of standard thanks to the even number.	/r/MensRights	05/12/21 12:24 PM

I'm short and so is my partner, my exes were unintentionally around my height too (as someone with ADHD and autism I am accidentally more attracted to fellow neuroatypicals, which all of them were of either or both variety).
