This had me in tears lol Glad I'm not the only one who keeps encountering women who are constantly about to rush home to make dinner for their useless husbands. I was starting to question myself

I'm a little worried about the girl getting drunk in the bath every day? I mean I sure would be if I was dealing with this bs.

Funnily enough I posted it because I hated it too😄 I've been a fan of Bo for years but I struggle with poetry and reading Dickglove ruined my entire day so I had to upload it to get some different perspectives

I was reading this and in my head I went "Girl definitely has ADHD" (I do and I'm exactly like this, also somehow keep dating men who clean up my messes) and then get to the part where you say you have ADHD 😄

This comment section breaks my heart. I love bo and I would have never thought that this poem could be received as anything other than clear criticism of male entitlement. I left the title as neutral as possible to encourage an unbiased discussion but it just turned into everyone hating on him

My endgame plan is to adopt older children when I'm in my late 30s and 40s. The ages match up, I get to live my own life first and there are just so many older children up for adoption that get looked over in favor of babies.

Hmm not really. He genuinely was how you'd picture the stereotypical pick-me woman, only that he happened to be a guy.

I dated a classic pick me for 3 years. He was a guy, but it was exactly how you described. It drove me insane. Never again

Women in the 50s were deeply unhappy in the homemaker role, even without infidelity and dv. The Feminine Mystique is a great book about this

Agreed, I was 18 and had 5k in my savings account. Scrote blackmailed me into moving across the country away from everyone to move in with him. Quote "If you're not coming here you better know that you're STILL paying half rent" Lived there for 3 months, drained my savings account for rent and furniture. Spent the last money I had on a rental truck back home after he turned out to be extremely abusive and dangerous. (Who would have thought) But this was 4 years ago and I now have a good job and …

As someone who's also terrified of fireworks, I'm so glad she stood her ground on this. Here's a quick recap of my last 2 new years eves not doing so: 2018: Told my then boyfriend I hate new year's eve and fireworks. He, as many before him is convinced that he's going to give me the best new year's eve experience I've ever had. So we took a bus across the country to some of his friends who I'd never met before. We didn't get along. At midnight he insisted I join them outside. They were in front …

Valentines day when I was 19 my then boyfriend got me a card and flowers that were 50% off. From the store he worked at. With employee discount. The card said "Sorry I couldn't come up with anything better. V day kinda took me by surprise." We had been exclusive for several months at that point lmao🤦‍♀️

Love this. I told a man on Tinder that I'm looking for something serious and he hit me with "oh me too. But for me Sex is part of getting to know each other so I wanna get intimate early on to see if it works" Sure Jan lmao

I always tell men that I don't drink on dates. The lowest of LVM bail immediately and the rest usually suggests dinner or something more unique and exciting.

God I used to love the simpsons. (Only got Disney+ to watch it. ) Now it's so hard to watch. Just the gross relationship dynamic. "Marge, grab me a beer" ugh

This!!! When I met my ex boyfriend he paid for most (if not all) of our activities, drinks, lunches, dinners. At some point in our relationship I found a good job (I was making very little doing full time voluntary work before) and started paying for things too. We had an unspoken rule going on that whoever suggested the thing (go out for dinner, takeout, movies idk), pays for it. It worked for a while until I noticed that he'd stopped suggesting activities as frequently, so I'd be doing all of …

Yea, no thanks to the police though. I actually called them twice. The first time because he was threatening to kill himself and left our place to go off into the night because I tried to break up with him (common abuse tactic to guilt trip women). They told me to give them his phone number. I did. The second time was actually my friend calling them because I was in serious danger and unable to. (He came back and sprayed me with my own pepper spray in our living room, among other things) And you…
