For sure, but the comment I was replying to seemed to take that much more extreme

So we should teach our sons to treat people badly?

I don't know why this is being downvoted without explanation. This is also the way that I interpreted it. Even if we've, come a long way as a society to realize that men and women are equally capable of success, I think that we still instinctively tend to think that men are supposed to be successful more than women. That's not to say that there aren't other factors here, but I believe it's a very reasonable explanation.

I agree, I just think that he also bears some responsibility and blame and likely deserves the suspension.

I'm sorry, but his punch was way, way harder than anything else she did. It might have been justified, but given what I just saw, he should've at most just thrown her to the ground. That fuckin full-force pounding was uncalled for. I'm for equal fights, but her aggression vs his aggression was not equal. ESH

"Feminism," isn't necessarily anti-man. I'm a feminist and also disgusted by the actions of these feminists. I'm also an MRA and disgusted by many MRAs. I think people fail to realize how often feminists and MRAs disagree with each other.

MGTOW: "We are going our own way! We do not need women! We are independent of them! We will separate ourselves from women!" Also MGTOW: "womenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenwomenfemaleswomen"

Honestly, I'd find it a little off-putting, but overall none of my business.

It's official. We are all "Nazis" now for supporting men. Can somebody help me find my swastika? I seem to have misplaced my gas chamber as well...

Generally, I think it's because it's nearly impossible for men's rights activists to gather and promote any kind of praxis without being deemed as misogynists by the elite, and especially those involved in politics who know it will improve their optics. Also, it's simply not as mainstream and popular.

Interesting they didn't include South Korea or Singapore which have been regarded as having the best handling of Covid-19. It's almost like they're pushing an agenda???

I would say yes, considering the fact that what "virginity" is is different to everybody. It's not a personality trait, it's not a physical trait, it's a social construct. What else would it be?

Why would these women want a man who bangs hookers anyways? It sounds like they're angry that they can't get men that they don't even want.

If you choose to enter a marriage, you should be able to choose to leave. I think that there should be no legal aspect to marriage. Marriage and divorce should be entirely determined by the people in the marriage.

What sucks is that a lot of those comments are men. Jesus Christ. We can't even have our own gender on our side.

Yeah I agree. I think that the idea was great, but the kind of extremists were never addressed or condemned. As a result, the main topic of discussion became the exact thing that they were trying to avoid

For a subreddit that was supposed to be separating themselves from women, they talked about women way too much.

MGTOW was seriously bad. I don't miss it. MGTOW just perpetuated all of the awful stereotypes that people apply to the men's rights movement.

I'd say that both are probably big factors depending on the person. For OP, that may be his reason, but for others, it might be the stigma of "manlihood."

There is definitely bias here raining the mother being sent to rehab and the father to jail. However, I think that there might be something else at play here. It say "new husband" which implies that the father is not a blood relative and has likely less relation with the children.

I would but I got banned for asking what the differences were between feminism and egalitarianism. I now understand that feminism is just egalitarianism but more rude and unaccepting.

Take it from somebody who isn't a woman-hater. Your relationship is fine. The only red flag is maybe that she thinks you guys might divorce, but that seems more like childhood trauma. She cares about you and wants to move on in the relationship, but doesn't want to pressure you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
