One day, I was being my old classic insecure self and I was trying to communicate to my boyfriend I needed some words of affirmation. Compliments. All that jazz. And for whatever reason, I realized I did not compliment HIM anywhere near what I should be. We grow up being taught you gotta compliment girls - tell them they're pretty, interesting, funny....
