There’s a difference between studying and “caring”. People don’t by and large support mass shooters like they do with this case. The amount of support Clancy has is mind boggling to say the least.

The fiction thing is huge also. (Anecdotal evidence here) I’m a bit older but as I grow old ive noticed most guys I know if they don’t read fantasy or sci-fi will defer to non-fiction. For every woman actively reading romance there’s a guy actively reading about WWII. These differences in what topics get us interested in reading will always create a massive disconnect.

This is a really good way to put it and unfortunately it’s something a lot of guys need to understand. Yes, your looks, height, masculinity will play a role in dating and sleeping with women but a lot of it will come down to personality.
