I actually disagree. You can call a person a victim if you know he/she was raped...you just don't call the person a "victim OF x".

I don't think it's an issue of patriarchy theory eliminating reasons to care about men's issues...it's that people aren't applying the word "privilege" correctly. Privilege is not a matter of degree. If people applied them to individual injustices you might see a bit more civil discourse. That, and skepticism. Nah, feminism has grown in popularity so much that it's definitely equipped to solve men's issues. For lack of a better way to explain this, they're not the most willing to use that equipment right away.

Do these dumbasses realize that if they are willing to throw out innocent until proven guilty, they are in effect crafting a rod for their own back??? Any time you advocate to remove a fundamental legal principle which PROTECTS your rights, you shackle everyone, including yourself.

I don't think I've ever seen so many straw man arguments as I have on this feed.
