Been an ironworker all my life, been wearing "zero drop" work boots for decades (though that's the first time hearing the term.) Most reputable work boot makers have a version of them. As I said, I wear Thorogoods, I have had Red Wings and way long ago, DieHards from Sears. Point is, they've been around for a while...
