Are you more likely to get cheated on dating someone in certain fields? Especially the stereotypical ones like nurses, firefighters, police, bartenders etc.

I mean it’s not always a bad thing. It’s just that some people like to use honesty as a pass to be a dickhead. A lot of the times it comes across as bad-faith trolling. It really isn’t that hard to give honest, constructive criticism without making others feel bad about themselves. This goes for everybody on ppd, both men and women
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 06:35 AM

I feel like there’s more women in general on here, especially the “tell it how it is” types.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/24 05:47 AM

How’s dating like in NYC? I’ve heard it’s easier for guys because of the gender ratios, but can still be difficult for everyone when looking for a long-term partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/24 08:01 PM

Definitely plays a part. Imo it doesn’t lower a woman’s attractiveness like it can boost it though. A facially average looking woman with a “pixar mom” physique can definitely outshine prettier women.

By artsy I was thinking more of K-pop fans and gamers. I didn’t mean it as an insult. You’re 100% right in the second paragraph though

I’ve noticed that women on Reddit hate beards. Women irl seem to like them more (at least well-kept/short beards). It’s probably a demographic thing with Reddit steering towards the artsy/nerdy crowd
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/24 07:49 PM

I see all these ads for run clubs with a lot of them being geared towards singles. Like do you know anyone who met their SO from a run club? It’s funny how a lot of them will have promos putting the spotlight on attractive shirtless dudes, which is 100% an attempt to coax the single women to show up (men will be there regardless). I’m sure it’s a fun way to get out of the house but I wouldn’t be surprised if these clubs turn out to be total sausage fests.

Yeah I get what you’re saying. Either way though, don’t beat yourself up about these discussions man. Who cares what some lady on Reddit thinks. Go out there and have a good time with your gf and just enjoy life. Best of luck to you bro

People like bragging about their preferences because it makes them appear more “high value” or attractive. A woman might throw out “I only date guys over 6’3” knowing that those preferences might be somewhat unreasonable. It advertises that she’s desirable since she can afford to have high standards. I can see dick size being the same way.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 01:43 AM
1

I guess her point is that a larger dick is able to hit spots deep in her guts that an average penis can’t. It’s probably a mental thing for her too. Yeah other body parts and toys can “reach” those spots, but they don’t scratch the psychological itch that a dick can. There’s also a good chance that the “big” dicks she fucks aren’t really that huge. When you’re five foot nothing, even a six incher is gonna look pretty big (and that’s like upper-end of average). Unless she hangs out in fetish spac…

Eh, if the topic was flipped to where it was about how women only like masculine blue collar guys, then you’d have women in the thread talking about how they prefer sophisticated white collar guys. Don’t worry about man. I respect blue collar work (It’s needed and I’ve also done it before), but it’s tough on the body and they don’t generally make the money that Reddit thinks they do.

I wasn’t asking for me. You make a good point, but like most discussions on here it’s still pretty nuanced. I guess it depends on what was said and how long the relationship goes on. Dating to “see where things go” is fine and if anything the standard for a lot of people. Lovebombing and lying to essentially pump and dump is when it crosses the line. Nothing wrong with a more casual/temporary relationship when both parties have communicated that’s what they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 10:46 PM

This isn’t about me, I’m already past that stage in my life. I was just asking more about whether this is good advice for young men starting out in the dating world.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/24 08:57 PM

How morally wrong is it to for guys to get a “starter girlfriend” or to date women that they’re not 100% head-over-heels into. On one end it’s important to gain relationship/intimate experience, and there also has to be SOME form of compromise for any relationship anyways. The line gets drawn at lovebombing or making promises that you know you aren’t going to keep (like saying I love you or talking about marriage etc). Like there’s nothing wrong with dating to see where it goes and it’s true tha…

Kandace you need to get another hobby this shit ain’t good for you. Even if you’re trolling, dedicating this much time and effort into dunking on lonely men with their own mental health problems is no bueno. Do it. There’s nothing inherently wrong with being a virgin, but lack of experience does seem to hurt men in dating. I get it man, you’re nervous and that’s probably why you’re so hesitant about seeing her but I’d try and get this monkey off your back. Maybe some people won’t like this line of thinking, but I feel that a no-strings attached mutual hookup/fwb thing (even if your not 1000% in love with the woman) is a good way to lose it for a lot of guys. Shit don’t give your future girlfriend aw…

I don’t get why someone in a relationship or with a dating life would want to antagonize a bunch of neurodivergent loners on Reddit. Is it insecurity on their end? Maybe just world fallacy as in “Good people get laid, and since I get laid then that means I’m a good person”. Shit, it could be that sometimes people just wanna be mean and the dudes in these spaces are a socially acceptable target. Thoughts?

I think it’s a combination of her maybe being a bit too picky along with another thing we can’t really discuss on PPD. 200 dates is a lot, and she did mention doing some rejecting. I’m not saying you gotta date the first person that shows interest but nothing from 200 dates? Then again, dark skinned women seem to be given a harder time when it comes to dating so I definitely feel for her though.

Yep I know several women where it’s been like that. They’re never really single
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/23 12:07 AM

Kind, attractive women with modest standards are more likely to be taken. I’ve noticed that a lot of men had known their girlfriends before dating, it’s just that one or both parties happened to be in a relationship (though usually the woman). I’m not saying dudes should just sit around and wait but this seems to be a theme where people in friend groups kinda date each other.

Tall men are seen as more desirable and if she was able to bag a tall guy, that would make her seem more “valuable”.

1

Yeah I think that dudes tend to be more pragmatic when it comes to relationships. At least nowadays
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/23 03:21 PM

Outside of a horrible/abusive one, being in a relationship is so much better than being single. It’s not even just about sex. Cuddles and having someone to go places with is always nice. Rent is cheaper since you’re probably splitting it. It’s just part of the human experience. Shit, this may be an unpopular opinion on Reddit, but I’ve still preferred being in “mediocre” relationships over singledom. Maybe it’s an attachment style issue, but I don’t think I’m alone on that mindset.

How much of a roll does survivorship bias play in dating (especially for dudes)? Say you’re looking for a decent looking, kind woman that also happens to have realistic expectations for a partner. Chances are that girl is already spoken for. Throw in the idea that women just aren’t desiring men at the same level as men are women, and now you have even more men being left out. A lot of it comes down to luck, just being at the right place right time. If a woman has been in the singles pool for a w…

If someone has a preference for a certain trait that is not common in their area or in general, how can they deal with that? Like especially if they know it’s limiting their dating options but feel like they can’t “escape” from it. Do they hold out until “their type” comes along or should they accept that you don’t always get what you want? Or do they end up learning to appreciate and even end up preferring the options presented to them?

Survivorship bias. It’s not even just dating apps but the singles pool in general. Women that are attractive, kind, and desiring a relationship (along with reasonable expectations) are already taken. Throw in the idea that more men are wanting women than the other way around, and you get this.

Is it me or are less women using the “there’s someone for everybody, I see x guys all the time with wives/girlfriends” narrative. I’ve noticed more “What’s wrong with having preferences? Deal with it” kinda responses. I guess men have always been more upfront about their preferences and now the ladies are returning the favor. After all, everyone is entitled to having standards

What is pink pill exactly? Is it sorta like FDS?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/23 03:08 AM

Honestly, this matters to guys more than they would probably admit. Think of the saying about how big girls are like mopeds, they’re fun to ride but you don’t want your friends to see you on one. It’s mean as hell but there’s some truth to it. People think of their partners as a reflection of themselves in a way. Your partner has to fit the “image” that you’re trying to convey to everyone else. It’s a shame that it be this way though

I’ve gotta say that it upsets me to see men and women ripping on each other when it comes to this topic. I understand how rejection can make a man bitter towards the women around him, but I also think it’s wrong to insult your countrywomen. You know the usual, “I don’t want a fat, entitled American woman” thing. That gets old. On the other hand, it’s also wrong to assume that any man interested in dating a foreign women is a misogynistic colonizer trying to exploit women abroad. From what I’ve s…

I feel you man. It’s like once you’ve struck out through your social circle, all that’s left is online dating (and we know how tricky the apps are). Some guys have that “it” factor and are able to find relationships with ease, while other men have to stay in singletown
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/23 09:02 PM

Isn’t it like 75% of valedictorians are women or something? Although I agree that not all degrees are created equal, the fact that women outnumber men in college says something. Plus, more women actually earn a degree (more men drop out of university). My post was more about how women seem to value education and career more than men on average. I can see how the top earners are men though.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 11:41 PM
3

Women just seem more driven when it comes to education and career. It’s not that men aren’t doing anything at all, they just aren’t as invested or “into it” as women. I know the stats get brought up on here sometimes, but I’m interested in why things are going this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 11:20 PM

I actually feel bad for the women there. That echo chamber has to be destroying their mental health (which was probably not good to begin with).

Monogamy is my kink
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/23 07:37 PM

In pretty much every American/Western city, white men are just the boring default. You still have to find ways to stand out (like being good looking).

I know but nothing can tank mental health quite like browsing PPD.

Most people here have had some pretty bad experiences with the opposite sex. Remember this before getting mad at a snarky comment.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/23 03:08 AM

Ugghhh she sounds so INSECURE. Don’t forget to BLOCK AND DELETE after leaving her. Go for someone that doesn’t hold you back through toxic monogamy.

Woah
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 05:24 AM

Exactly. Plus, a lot of guys are going to lie or “exaggerate” on how much sex they’re having. Surveys asking about relationships would be a better gauge on how sexually active men in this demographic really are. (I know dead bedrooms are a thing but still).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/23 04:29 AM
4

I feel you man. The cliche Reddit advice of, “work on yourself” isn’t always the answer. Confidence and esteem is built through positive experiences and validation. If you aren’t really getting those things, then it makes sense you ain’t gonna feel good. When you are rejected a lot, it eventually gets to the point where you feel completely worthless. Yeah hobbies, friends and even family can help you feel better, but it’s just not the same as a romantic partner. I’m glad things worked out for yo…

I’m sorry that that has happened to you. I apologize for coming across as insensitive, as I didn’t know about these things that have occurred in your life. All I was suggesting, is that maybe you should try other things before jumping to conclusions. My bad though
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 06:29 AM
1

You don’t have to have a high or low body count. Imma be honest with you, if a man actually gives a fuck about pleasuring you, he’s going to go the extra mile to make sure you’re satisfied and that could potentially mean the use of a toy. Still, I believe that people sorta get lazy in just running to toys instead of focusing on the more intimate option of going without sexual tech. There’s something magical about syncing your body up with the person you care about, just you and them enjoying arg…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 06:01 AM
3

I’m not trying to shame you, but maybe you just haven’t met the right person. As other comments have suggested, sometimes a woman not finishing can be a compatibility issue between her and the man. You know your body better than anyone though, so don’t take what I said the wrong way.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 05:36 AM
1

Chicks that drive lawnmowers are hot bro
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 05:23 AM
1

Exactly. If a couple wants to use toys that’s cool, but I don’t like this narrative that you should just jump to toys if things are meh in the bedroom. The motion of the ocean is a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 05:19 AM
5

Great take! I think essentially everyone is insecure to a degree. There seems to be a lot of commenters on here who don’t seem to mind sex toys or are more sexually open (open relationships for example). It just bothers me to see people, particularly men, get roasted because of certain insecurities.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 05:13 AM
2

That’s cool, nothing wrong with an open relationship. Nothing wrong with a monogamous relationship either.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 05:07 AM
3

Like I said in my post, it’s great to see your partner orgasm. Then again, it can bother some men if their gf can’t finish without the help of some sex technology. He might feel that something about him, whether it be his penis, hand, or oral skills, isn’t enough. I just get sick of men being given a hard time for not loving the idea of using toys in bed. Imagine if your man pulled out his phone while you were on top and started watching porn. What if he couldn’t cum without using a vibrating fl…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 04:34 AM
1

Damn, I guess you’re a true free spirit then. Some people just be that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 04:23 AM

I mean, it’s great to “help” your partner get off, but you’d have to be lying to say that wouldn’t make a person feel inadequate. It ain’t in vogue (especially on Reddit it seems) to admit this though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:57 AM
4

Nah, I’m not saying there is anything wrong with using them. There really isn’t. It’s just that if a man isn’t a fan of them he is often seen as “less of a man”. That’s cool if you and your hubby want to use a cock ring, but don’t rip on someone if they don’t want to use one.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:42 AM
3

That’s basically how I feel. If two people are (actually) having great sex and firing on all cylinders, then a toy is just going to get in the way. I could be wrong but that’s just my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:36 AM
3

Yeah, I can’t get off from regular PIV with my girlfriend so I get my Tenga egg involved. Sometimes she uses it on me but usually I take control. It’s not that I don’t enjoy sex with her, I am genuinely satisfied. That inanimate object doesn’t compare to her, it just… spices things up. Jk
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:32 AM
3

Wouldn’t you be inadequate if a woman needed to get a toy involved? A man might be uneasy about it because he’s feels as if he’s underperforming. What do I know though
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:20 AM
2

It’s ok bro. All these INSECURE men wouldn’t understand.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:10 AM
2

I’m not denying that. I can totally see how a dude watching porn may make his wife/girlfriend feel uncomfortable. It’s not a bad thing if someone is “insecure” about something, and they shouldn’t be shamed.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:06 AM
7

This is pretty much what I’m talking about. It’s the “you better be cool with it or you ain’t gettin laid pal” mindset. It can still make the man feel as if he’s not enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 03:01 AM
6

Aren’t we all insecure to a degree?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 02:52 AM
1

Not EVERY man that claims to be cool with it actually is. Some guys are truly into using them
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 02:07 AM
4

The dudes that “don’t have a problem with it” are not always a fan. I’m not denying that some guys are into it (like how some other commenters being given toys from their man), but a lot of them don’t want toys in the bedroom. Guys don’t want to ruin their chances of banging again so they welcome dildos and vibrators. You also make a good point about some women NEEDING a toy to orgasm. It may take more trial and error, but if she can cum from a vibrator or a curved dildo, she can probably cum wi…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 02:03 AM
1

I’m happy for you! You’ve found a guy that you’re compatible with, the main point of my post was that there’s nothing wrong with not being into that as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 01:42 AM
1

Like another commenter said, it’s kinda like the dude watching porn. I understand it’s not 100% the same, but would you be cool with your partner pulling up a porn video while banging? Some women might be “cool” with it, but are they really? That’s how it is with men and their partners using sex toys. I’d wager that the majority (not all) of men aren’t a fan, they just keep quiet or embrace it as long as they still get to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 01:18 AM
2

I know what you mean. It’s just that (at least on Reddit) dudes get labeled as insecure for being opposed to toys in the bedroom.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/23 12:51 AM
1

Am I the only one who understands when men get “insecure” about his wife/girlfriend using toys in the bedroom (especially vibrators or large dildos). I’ve never had a woman whip out a womanizer 3000 dildo with 25 functions and LEDs on me, but I get why some dudes are apprehensive about it. This is a device that does something you just can’t compete with, I can see why a man would feel inadequate. I bet that most men (especially the open-minded Redditors) aren’t actually 100% on-board with their …

/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/23 06:32 PM

I don’t. I was asking this question because I got in an argument on another PPD post about the words “Chad” and “Stacy” being used by gen z. I’ve never heard anyone use these words (especially Stacy) irl. “Chad” is only used as a joke and “Stacy” is only used by manosphere dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/23 06:30 PM
2

Does anyone actually use the terms “Stacy” or “Chad” in real life? Zoomers might call someone a Chad to be ironic, but that’s pretty much the only time I’ve seen them used. Oh, and I’m prepared for Lift to make a corny joke about knowing someone named Chad or Stacy.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/23 06:21 PM

Ok, dumb theory. What if dating for shorter guys actually becomes EASIER down the road. People have been making a big deal over height the past few years with terms like “short king” being thrown around. This whole thing is probably virtue signaling, but I wonder if women will somehow become more conscious of dating tall men. Yeah, there will always be height queens but short men may be less at a disadvantage than before. Women will not want to be seen as “that girl” going for and dating only ta…

I remember watching a YouTuber called Glink who made a video about OF. One of the videos talking points was why men even subscribed to OF girls in the first place. The main reason was that they could interact with the girl. There is this personable quality to OF that you can’t get from porn.

I see so many unattractive couples that appear to genuinely be into one another. Is it me or are people very malleable when it comes to sexual attraction? Like, if someone doesn’t value their looks, then they probably won’t care about how hot their partner is.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/23 01:05 AM
1

My post was also about how even below average men can, in many ways, have an easier time finding a partner they’re happy with. Unattractive people just pair off with other unattractive people, and a lot of times have great relationships with real attraction. Once you start to get into that above average “bracket”, things start to get pretty competitive.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/23 02:57 AM
1

Calm down bro. I didn’t say it was impossible for above average but “non-chad” men to date. All I’m trying to say is that if they fall behind in certain areas (like social skills), then it may be more difficult to stand out and date girls that they’re attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/23 12:28 AM
6

I 100% agree with this. Leaning into a niche is the way to go for a lot of guys. Plus, being a little polarizing can be a good thing when it comes to dating
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/23 05:48 AM

It can be done, but some people are going to have a harder time improving socially. Things like childhood trauma, autism, etc can make this more difficult.

I’m not saying it’s impossible to date if you’re above average (but not hot). It’s just more competitive in a way. Like I said, social skills can be the deciding factor for a lot of these dudes. I get that it’s easy for you thanks to charisma, but what about the more awkward guys?

1

An official post needs to be made on this. It’s interesting
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 04:32 AM
2

This is a thought I’ve had for a minute. Above average but not “hot” guys are in a weird spot when it comes to dating. If they aren’t lucky enough to meet a girl through their social circle, then they’re gonna have a hard time finding a girl in their league/bracket. Above average women tend to have their sights set on the top/outlier men or are already in a relationships. These guys end up coming across as mediocre options to a lot of women, especially if they lack social skills.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 04:21 AM
15

Unattractive women are gonna almost always have a hard time with dating. Yeah, she could probably get a hookup or two but is she ACTUALLY desired? From what I’ve been told and witnessed, unattractive women are often treated like garbage. Even if they’re not straight up insulted, dudes still give off the vibe that they don’t want to be around them.

I like this comment. It’s something I’ve noticed with incels as well. They tend to only want a specific “girl next door” archetype. Combine that with limited life experiences, and you’ve got yourself a crazy hopeless romantic.

Just because you share common interests with someone, doesn’t always mean you are compatible for a relationship. You can have completely different hobbies, musical taste, etc and still be happy.

There is some truth to this. Autistic people (especially men) often give ambiguous expressions. Small facial cues for emotion aren’t shown sometimes, and this gives of uncanny valley vibes.

I was gettin ready for them to flame the guy, but was surprised to see how most responded. Yeah, it’s not great to lie, but this one is understandable. Most women don’t like inexperienced men. That’s just the way it is.

I’m sorry you had to suffer through abuse like that. So I gathered that cheating was like a “wake up call” to leave the relationship. It sounds like it was spontaneous and that you would have been in a tight spot if caught.

2

I’m sorry that you had to experience an abusive relationship, but why didn’t you just break up with him? You knew there were other options. I’m not trying to be offensive, I just want to know why this is such a common reason for cheating.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/22 12:20 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/22 11:18 PM

Plus, the whole “being friends first thing” can hurt both parties. It’s not fair to befriend some girl that you have romantic interest in, to only drop the truth months/years later. Yeah, people meet through friend groups, but interest or chemistry seems to be shown fairly soon. Most couples express mutual interest from basically the get go

No problem boss. I just get tired of this narrative that dating is entirely dependent on morality OR physical attractiveness. A lot of it is just chance.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/22 11:59 PM
1

Just keep on keepin on man. Online dating is underrated imo, so I would keep trying that along with meeting women through your social circle. It sounds like you’re attractive enough to get noticed by women, but not necessarily the right type for you. Download different dating apps (I don’t know which are popular in Sweden) and organize a good profile with the flattering pictures. You said you met up with a tinder match, so that’s a good start. Keep trying and eventually you’ll find a nice girl.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/22 11:35 PM
1

I agree that dating success is mostly dependent on luck. Some people always seem to find the right person while others don’t. You might get a guy that’s great on paper, but nothing seems to click. It’s not that he’s a bad person or that he’s doing anything “wrong”. Sometimes shit just doesn’t work out. Either way though, it’s still worth it to keep on trying.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 11:52 PM

Pumping and dumping. Dry spells suck, but if you’re not interested in potentially dating a woman, don’t bang her. Especially if the dudes clearly more attractive. Doing this can mess with her head/expectations and hurt the chances for other men. On top of that, It ain’t even that fulfilling.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 08:26 PM
1

I could see how religion plays a big part even if there are outliers within certain races. I was thinking more along the lines of an Asian woman refusing to date Asian men because they “remind her of her brother” or something. Like I’m sure that Egyptian woman would have dated a progressive non-Muslim man from the Middle East if it came down to it though.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 02:15 AM
2

Everyone has the right to have preferences, but that doesn’t mean that I might not think differently of them. To me, it’s even more odd if they refuse to date their own race. There’s gotta be some sort of baggage or self-hate going on. I guess it’s just hard for me to understand since I’m open to dating all races though.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/22 01:25 AM
1

Like I said, if you are short it will absolutely make you struggle. Being very tall is also a benefit, but I think that the vast majority of men’s height isn’t putting them at an advantage or disadvantage. Women have a hard time telling the difference in height between most men they come across
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 03:51 PM
1

Now I’m even more intrigued
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 04:24 AM
1

I feel that height only becomes an advantage past a certain point (like 6’3 and up). That’s mainly because really tall dudes are rare. Even if most women don’t want there man to be tall af, the ones that do will jump on the opportunity to bag a tall guy. If you’re on the short side it can hurt dating chances though, but most men from 5’9 to like 6’1 are fairly even. They have to appeal with other qualities.

Mainly having to revolve your life around the dog. If you go somewhere, chances are the dog is coming too. You can’t leave the dog at home for too long, so certain activities such as travel are a lot more difficult. Not to sound offensive, but I also think owning an animal that NEEDS your constant validation is weird to me. It’s not that dog owners are bad people or that dogs are horrible animals, it’s just that I’m not compatible with a woman that owns one.

I feel like the ship has already sailed for making money as a fitness influencer (or at least just due to your physique). A few years ago, jacked guys where even more of a minority than today. Online dating can work ok for more men than you’d think. Your success on an app depends on not only looks but things like location, quality of pictures, and even the app itself. Yeah, most guys aren’t racking up 100s of matches a day, but they can still market themselves to a very large pool of women. Meeting a women from an app almost guarantees there is at least SOME mutual attraction. Everyone talks about playing the numbers game to find someone, well online dating let’s you do that more effi…

I actually agree with this. Cold approaching is inherently desperate, which ain’t a good look. It comes across as way too thirsty, and you end up looking like a weirdo with no social life. It tells the woman that you might not be a well-adjusted person with other outlets.

In my opinion, height isn’t really an “advantage” until you get tall af (like 6’3+). Though, under 5’7 I think it does become a handicap for many men. Not to sound mean, but most women have a hard time determining a dude’s actual height. As long as you’re around average height it shouldn’t be a problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/22 12:07 AM
1

I’m glad you’re happy, but remember your standard on height is an outlier. Even though manosphere guys over-blow the importance of height, most women still prefer men a good bit taller than themselves (based on both studies and anecdotal evidence).

Maybe they have problems socializing with women because of low self esteem or negative past experiences. I don’t know the details in op’s situation, but it’s unreasonable to call him an entitled narcissist for talking about dating struggles. A couple weeks ago my younger cousin told me about how he had been getting rejected or ghosted by girls (he’s in college). That shit sucks. It isn’t fun, and it’s totally normal to be upset about it. I guess I should have told him to stop whining and being s…

For a guy that seems to prize love and understanding so much, you have a brutal “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” mentality. I agree that complaining about an issue isn’t going to really solve anything for that person, but calling them entitled isn’t going to either.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 07:12 PM

He never said that he deserved to have success with dating. Get off your high horse pal. What actual advice would you give to a young guy struggling with dating though? Should he self improve? Or maybe he needs to learn how to transmit sexual energy through his eyes or something right?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 06:10 PM
3

The guy just talked about some negative experiences with dating. I guess his complaints are irrelevant because they don’t line up with your view. Maybe there is some truth to what he said. Maybe dating is genuinely getting more difficult for young men, and it’s not because they’re egotistical misogynists.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/22 01:49 AM
1

Well put. Everything this guy posts on here is self righteous and/or dismissive af. To him, the only reason a guy might struggle with dating is because he doesn’t have enough confident energy or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/22 07:15 PM

In a way they’re pretty similar to one another. Both use lingo to group people. Both talk in absolutes (like low value or high value man/ AWALT). There’s like a cultish vibe to both as well. Even though they encourage followers to take what pieces of advice they need, if anyone says something that strays from the narrative, then they get destroyed.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 09:27 AM
1

Even though it might take a few years of social conditioning, I agree. Approaches don’t have to be aggressive. Just having more women reaching out to men could help equalize things a bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/22 09:17 AM

With welfare programs and other aid from the the government, I don’t know if things will be drastically different. The vast majority of women are still going to look for partners based on attractiveness instead of wealth/financial security.
