Lots of good wines on here, and all very affordable. Don't be fooled by the prices of wine, and think that it has to be at all expensive to be good. Little to no correlation between price of a wine and how much you might enjoy it. One that is starting to become pretty common in grocery stores, and is in the $8-$10, and VERY tasty, is Apothic Red. It's one of my favorite sub-$15 wines, and it's a mix of several grapes, and has cocoa undertones. All the women I've introduced it to love it.
