And then they get mad women don’t like them and that we don’t message first. Like hello what do they expect. They swipe right on everyone. How do we know if they actually like us or not if they are just plain lazy and will swipe on anyone.

I’m sorry to hear that. ☹️ I paint my nails at home and the false lashes I’ve mastered them so isn’t too difficult, but like he could’ve told me he had an issue with my friend working in his unit the day before. Well at least the trash throws itself out before anything else

Hate when they cancel last minute, especially when you take your time and get ready. All men do to get ready before a date is shower, throw on cologne and a nice shirt. We women do our hair, make up, put on false lashes and do our nails. Before corona I had a date with this anesthesiologist I was really excited to go on. He canceled an hour before. I was about to jump into the subway to meet him at the restaurant and he had the audacity to cancel cause I had told him my friend worked at the ICU …

His profile pictures are all cross-eyed. I wouldn’t have had pointed it out if it weren’t for his ridiculous list of demands.

Hahah Harvard men, some on tinder with the six pack are the bane of my existence. The funniest are those who have a ton of pictures with Harvard gear and actually attend the extension school. Last fall I had one HBS guy super like me on tinder and told me he wanted to get out of the HBS bubble since it seems like they did everything together. He came on really strong. He was Brazilian and he mentioned how he was a big fan of curvy women and there wasn’t many here in Boston. He took me to one of …

I told him I didn’t appreciate being talked to in that tone and if he was planning on continuing to talk to me like that to feel free to unmatch. He sent me a whoops and 😄 and I didn’t respond and then he unmatched. Glad the trash took itself out

Never thought about it that way. I’ve been here since I was in middle school. I just laugh at how ridiculous the men on tinder are and don’t accept their low effort ways. I see what you’re saying with the whole nerdy men with “high powered” careers, the men here are something special. Don’t get me started on the Harvard men.

Yes! I had one guy who had asked me out for a dinner date right before corona and had to cancel due to being on call end up asking if I wanted to meet and grab take out and watch a movie at the height of the pandemic. Keep in mind this is Boston and one of the big hospitals with all the corona patients. I was just like wtf, why don’t they monitor their dating app use!

Love how he cries that his shortcomings are the reason why no one will date him. Needs to stop crying and go get an education if he thinks he’s going to be picking up the same girls that go for the Ivy League men, which Boston is full of them, a dime a dozen.

What happened is we went on a date and then he messaged me asking if I was free the next weekend. We live on opposite sides of the city and for the first date he came to my side. He wanted me to go to his side of the city for a second date. I mentioned I didn’t want to take the T (subway) home late and he mentioned that I could always stay over, which lol no I wouldn’t. He mentioned it sucked that we lived so far (not far, just the subway line he lives on is so slow). At one point I messaged him…

I had guy today that I went on a date with last year message me. I was scrolling through this sub and saw how you responded to this guy and had to respond basically the same way you did! The audacity of these idiots! 😂

I was. What did he think, that I was going to save his number? We went on a date back in October. We live on opposite sides of the city and for the second date he wanted me to come to his side. He said he has already came to my side and that I lived far. That I could stay over if I didn’t want to take the T (subway) home. Like no thank you dude

It’s not like there’s much a selection in Maine so they think we women in Boston will be open to dating them, lesson learned

😂 they think one of the pinkmes in Boston will drive to them. 🙅🏻‍♀️

Yeah not worth it. There’s so many men in Boston, why would I go so out of my way to go that far. I responded to him cause he sent me a good message. Never assumed he wanted me to go halfway to Maine!

I hate when men message like this. Like what do they expect us to say? Has no substance and then they get mad when we just don’t bother to message back

Yeah this guy is a dentist. We already FaceTimed before. Not dealing with this BS

I let it pass cause of corona, but would never accept a walking date. Takes too much effort to get dressed up and ready just to go for a walk. He should’ve at least said a picnic or something
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/06/20 08:43 PM

We video chatted before for an hour. He wanted me to video chat him more often
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy23/06/20 08:31 PM

He should’ve been grateful I had the decency to actually tell him I’m not interested instead of disappearing on him

Woah what coach is this? He wasn’t even cute, mainly matched with him cause he has a good job

He wanted to go for a walk before, but I wasn’t keen on getting dressed up and all just to go on a walk. Figured now that things are opening up he would take me out for at least drinks, but nope! Too cheap it appears like

What’s funny is there are plenty of PhD men here in Boston. He’s nothing special. And then they claim women are gold diggers when they blast how much they make

I have vaginismus as well! It was never an issue in my past relationship. It’s not an issue now either since I won’t sleep with someone until I’m in a relationship. Feels like it makes it easier to see HVM and LVM

True, but I usually will swipe right on who super likes to me see what they have to say
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/02/20 03:18 AM

He super liked me and his other pictures were decent. Didn’t think such words would come out of a gentleman
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/02/20 03:10 AM

They hate when you don’t respond ASAP. I’ve had men ask me on dates and get mad when I can’t go out with them on the same day and unmatch. Like geez sorry I have a busy schedule and can’t drop everything to go out to dinner with you today 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/02/20 02:59 AM
36

I responded saying “lol you read the question wrong.” And then he said “why did you say lol, nothing I said is funny.” Then proceeded to call me an as*hole. I didn’t screenshot the rest cause I was rapidly trying to report him before he could unmatch me. He was acting as if talking to him were a huge privilege 🙄
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 03:58 PM

Yeah there’s no benefit to having sex with a stranger. When guys ask me if I want a FWB I’m like “friends with boundaries?” Recently one guy was like “friends with benefits” so I start listing off benefits, “commuter, health, dental, vision, and even a 401k.” Now those are true benefits!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 03:56 PM
40

Don’t understand why he got hurt. Just wanted to prevent him from wasting time! Wonder how long he’s been on there trying to get free sex. With that attitude it’s going to be a LONG time before he ever gets sex
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/01/20 03:44 PM
49

I think it’s a wonderful idea! Men want easy sex and there’s a lot less time wasting if they just go to an escort. I love how offended he got, which I don’t understand why 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah some Harvard men can be quite elitist. I went out on a date with a guy from Harvard Business School about 2 months ago. He made a point of spending a lot of money on our date and during dinner went on to tell me girls from Harvard weren’t as fun and he had a lot of money and would like to have a FWB, but with financial benefits with me. Found out he had a girlfriend since college back in New York. It’s like they think we can’t find out info on them

I asked him what he meant by drama queens and if he’s encountered them and he said unfortunately yes, but hopefully not anymore. And then asked him what makes someone a drama queen and he wants to talk over the phone 😂 not in a million years
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 02:28 AM
4

I should talk to him about financial habits, wonder how he would feel if I told him I expect him to always pick up the tab 😂
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 02:25 AM

They want all the perks with none of the effort and everything to go his way, especially with the drama queen mention
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/20 02:25 AM

I wonder how he would feel if I told him “I expect to be taken care of and the man to always pick up the bill, just how we expect men to do in Latin culture” 😂

I felt like messaging him that I’m an asexual drama queen 👸🏻

That's what I like to think. I met him when I was just 19 and if I'm still interested in him, doesn't it mean that I'm invested in him from the beginning? Most women want a successful man, but what him when he reaches the peak of his career, I've had to endure months without seeing each other, countless of times of him running back to the office, all because I love him. I think to date someone in such a long distance situation shows a great investment towards the person. It's one thing to have a…

He's not showy like most Wall Street men. His father was very tough on his brother and him, did the best to help them excel. They didn't grow up rich. Parents were extremely frugal. He's a very goal driven guy, as I've described. He's told me we are better off waiting for the MBA. From a tax perspective it might make more sense due to the summer internships basically paying them what I make in one year. I don't want to make him think I'm going to be there forever and I'm always available. Thanks…

That's my biggest concern with business school, especially if he goes to a school far away from Boston. His exes weren't exactly supermodels. Before he would tell me he wanted to get married in his 30s and then started shifting mindset. I told him from the beginning that I wanted to get married young. We first met when I was 19! One day while I was visiting him he told me we should get married on a specific day, basically spring of 2019. Not sure if it was because he was incredibly happy I was v…

I never planned to mooch off of him. I currently work as an accountant and I'm working on my CPA and CFA. I have goals and ambitions as well. I attended a great university. I also plan on losing weight and being the best version of myself.

I've told him before, I don't want my prime years wasted away. How does one get the point across without coming across as nagging?

He's not your typical finance man, oddly enough. We are both Hispanic if that can add more detail, and he's not showy like most Wall Street men are. I could work on my SMV, lose weight since I have always been overweight. Oddly enough I never had issues about my looks, but I feel like my weight is what brings down my SMV. I do my hair, makeup, nails, and dress feminine. I'm 23 and he's 26. I work in accounting and my hours aren't as bad as his. We talk on the phone every night and see each other…
