Of all the interviews I had, I've gotten the job except one. That one I tried way too hard to act like I knew what I was talking about (deceit). Besides being qualified for the job, the interview is largely about "Can I bear seeing and working with this person 5 days a week?" Granted I work in entertainment so it's much less about being qualified then a STEM field.

In my experience, people enjoy speaking quite a bit - especially about themselves. Ask them personal questions, comment on things they have already said. Of course, these questions and comments need to be insightful - this is will make people see you as very intelligent but not overbearing or anxious. Pre-party with close friends isn't a hard no, you just need them to be on the same page as you are. Why do all the work yourself when you can have 2 friends show up an hour early to help with the physical setup? Yeah it's definitely an easy guide to getting laid especially in your early twenties. Though I'd be wary of focusing your life solely on these things. As stated, "only surrounding yourself with asshole jocks" would be highly effective for getting laid but IMO there is considerably more to get out of the world by befriending people of all kinds. This article is a bit philistine. My friend went as a kissing booth one year; a large and awkward box protruding from his shoulders and around his head. Slut ranching and nerd herding are simply subsets of human capital, of which you excluded clubs and professors. I also kind of hate the bro-tone as in referring to people as nerds repeatedly, it sounds like a guy stuck in high school. Very true, though there are apps/free programs out there with built-in progression (Duolingo, Rosetta Stone you can find free online I bet). But yeah it takes a some planning and research to make digestible. I take for granted that my family already speaks multiple languages.
