I think this might be, yes... Thankfully you get to make your own choices 18+. And my dad is not a bad dad at ALL, I think he stayed for me and my brothers and then realized that it wasn't a good idea for any of us.

Prefacing that I will probably interpret this wrong because I haven't been around long enough and it doesn't come from a place of antagonism. This is literally me. At first I came here to judge and then I realized that some of this was really valuable advice that made sense. There are some things that I disagree with but the pieces I have taken have instantly smoothed over rocky parts of my relationship and I don't feel like I'm magically ~changing myself~, I just feel like I'm adjusting my outlook.
