Most foodies cannot afford to go to great restaurants every day so they cook at home and go to Michelin level restaurants once in a blue moon as a treat. If you spend a ton of time searching for the right mushrooms or the perfect cheese, experiment with recipes and spend you weekend making your own fond, then I can understand why you would you would ask your date if he/she can cook. Interests in common and all. However, as I wrote, I think for the most part men who ask this are looking for the r…

If he´s a foodie, it could see it as a must. However, I think in most cases it is them wanting you to want to impress them, like you are applying for the job of girlfriend. And that´s a no-no.

They broke up with eachother due to wanting different things. That is not the same as using another person. For all we know, the girlfriend, who asumably was also in her early twenties, was happy having him as a boyfriend. Later she wanted a husband, meaning she wanted a different life than what they had together. There is no shame in this, as they split immediately.

Dude, come on. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend in your early twenties and realizing you don't want to marry that person when he/she says that that's what they want - and subsequently leaving the person right after - is not low value for either person. Staying would be shitty, yes. Anyho, enough of that.

Sure she does. I don't believe she was a LVW as she communicated her needs and was willing to leave, did she not get what she wanted. And he didn't string her along. They just parted ways as they wanted different things.

1) He called her his girlfriend and they were at at level, where marriage was talked about. So, not at casual relationship. 2) Had they never talked marriage, he wouldn´t have had to go home to think about it. Hence he wouldn´t have met his wife. So yes, girlfriend is part of that story. How is this story about stringing someone along? He was with his girlfriend and when talk of marriage came up, he realized it was not meant to be. And they broke up. Had he stayed with her several years after th…

He WAS committed to her; she was his girlfriend. He just realized, that he didn´t want to be with her forever and they broke up. He probably included her in the story, because she is part of it in the sense that if it wasn´t for her, he would have never gone home and consequently met his future wife. This is not malicious.

Clint Eastwood is nealy 1oo years old and Roger Moore is dead, so I´ll give them a pass. The others? Well, wine turns to vinegar.

I this OLD? If so, there is no need to tell guys anything. Weed through dickpics and shitty comments, set the bar HIGH and don´t accept anyone who sends you memes, does negging or anything lowgrade like the before mentioned. No need to explain, just let those turds float right on by and ignore/block. Set up dates without too much conversation beforehand, so you don´t get lured in by someone who is very good with words/has someone write for him/follows some manual and instead seek out a quick che…

Some women like having a relationship without really being in one. Having someone to care about at a distance. These women seldomly get to see the guy and it keeps other men away (she´s taken).

I can´t believe that I´m sitting here thinking "I`ve been lucky with my men! they could all wipe their own asses!" Jesus fucking christ.

You want what you want. Yes you are limiting your datingpool by having preferences and sticking to them. And that´s perfectly fine and kinda the point as you have standards. Some guy who doesn´t floss his teeth, is old as Father Chistmas or has a combover could also be the nicest guy, and yet you don´t have to make exceptions for him either. Would he date you, if you were very overweight, deformed or ugly? Probaby not, because he has preferences too. And that´s ok. Edit: the pm is asinine.

Doctors often end up specializing in whatever is available at the time and place they´re at and whatever clinics they had before.

This guy has told you way too much about his girlfriend than what is "normal" considering your workrelationship. It would be something else had he talked only about himself. You should considder why you entertain this type of conversation in work situation. The HV or LV assessment of men here is often a try to decipher if the guy is making a bare minimum of effort or if he is a dusty. That is not all there is to value though IMO. This guy, you are describing, is LV due to his personality. He is …

Just write that you don't have one. See how he responds. Maybe he offers one, maybe he comes up with something else. You don't have to go nuclear already

The best cure for this is to block them everywhere. There is no point in you following them anymore, and you need to refrain from sneaking a peek every now and again. If you have to deal with them in real life ie. small town/dormitory/shared friends, do so politely and sparingly. You have your own life that is so much more important that them. I fully understand that nagging feeling. I think you need to turn this upside down a bit: the reason why you got that treatment was because of you lack of…

If you don´t like it, you don´t like it. And you need to communicate that. No need for long explanations, just say "I prefer for you to not call me that" or "I would rather you would call me cute/pretty/smart/etc than adorable". If he doesn´t adjust, you reconsider him.

He doesn´t love her. And sadly he may never have. He was with her because of the social status her looks gave him, and his goal of impressing other men via his woman is now unattainable. I wish she would see his post about her, maybe it would make her leave. Instant weightloss as he is weighing her down.

No, I don´t find it funny. Sorry, but I like goodlooking men and I miss being with someone, as it has been about four months.

Honestly, from the description it sounds like early signs of dementia or the like with the increasing anger directed at everyone and complete lack of decorum. I feel sad for everyone really.

What an assmonkey! Honestly, I would get out, as I would not be seen as a person that I am. And that would be a dealbreaker regardless of the issue.

When you change, not everyone changes with you. When you start leveling up, you are setting the bar higher for yourself. If say you develope a heathy lifestyle, then you really will not have that much in common with someone, if you don´t have a strong relationship to begin with. However, maybe there is someone in your circle whom you are overlooking and you can cultivate that relatioship little more?

Personally, I prefer someone without past relationsships rather than someone, who has been bedhopping or has been a serial monogamist.. I don´t expect virginity or monklike behavior, however I expect a guy to be selective with whom he is with. However, if the person doesn´t have any longlasting relationships with family, friends, co-workers, then its a red flag. Edit: the same rings true for women ie. no long lasting friendships etc., then I´m not sure we can be friends.

Sometimes? I´m more concerned with negative comments/putdowns and him prefering your hair straight that in its natural state is a negative in my book. My boyfriend and I are not eachothers "type". We met at a friends birthdayparty and had great chemistry/rapport and got to know eachother over time. The best compliment I have ever gotten has been from him: "I´m with you because of your personality". It doesn´t mean he finds me unattractive; it means that he is able to se ME and likes me for me an…

Hopefully most people treat others with common curtesy. How others view you, is reflected in the way they treat you, and generally speaking goodlooking people get treated better than others. https://www.businessinsider.com/beautiful-people-make-more-money-2014-11?r=US&IR=T

It´s welldocumented that there are a bunch of advantages to being goodlooking. This goes for both women and men, hence why some men complain about women going for tall men or "bad boys" (which is really just code for a guy who is in shape and smells good). It´s a more pleasurable experience to deal with someone nice looking provided the personality matches.
