Women think they can know a guy just by looking at him yet they end up in abusive relationships all the time.

Did you meet women in different places, or stuck to the same ole' bar or club? I've tried countless different places Have you changed your haircut, your clothes, the type of perfume you use? Have you become interested in new hobbies, or travelled and met interesting people? And most importantly, have you assessed what type of woman you are attracted to? Yes. The problem isn't my standards, I have basically none. The issue is that all women want to date up at least 3 points, so nobody wants ugly …

Once guys get past the looks threshold, personality and behavioral traits start to matter. Then the only guys who are left !ncels are the ones who have poor personalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 08:39 PM

Subsidized plastic surgery for ugly men. Maybe more regulations on social media and online dating too.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 07:56 PM
7

Unless you are focused on the few men that all women want, men basically have no standards at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 04:48 PM
10

Women are the ones enforcing gender roles, they obviously don't want to dismantle them.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 10:39 AM
9

I'm guessing they kept trying until they met me. Or they picked me out of a crowd bc they could tell I had oddities going on. Seems like you're admitting that it is not normal for women to talk to men they find ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 10:15 AM
15

Women should raise their standards for behavior and lower them for looks. Men should raise their standards everywhere. It's not gonna happen though.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 03:10 AM
11

I have a feeling that you are saying ugly when you really mean somewhere around average. Women tend to under rate men. You keep saying that these guys compensate with their personality, yet you never explain how these guys are supposedly getting the opportunity to show their personality in the first place. If anything, I think you are the one who needs to expand your social circles, because clearly you have no idea what the average guy goes through.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 02:39 AM
10

I'm saying it doesn't work because I've tried all the things you listed. Women will not get to know a guy who doesn't have good enough looks. I don't know what world you live in where women are going out and talking to average and ugly guys, but it's not the one im in.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 02:08 AM
14

I think it's funny that you believe this would work for the average guy
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 02:00 AM

There's a lack of chads in general
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/21 01:59 AM
3

Your friends don't complain about guys being ugly and short because they don't even see ugly short guys as options. They complain about guy's personality instead of his looks because they have already rejected the unattractive men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 09:07 PM
1

Okay.....? So you agree with me then.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:52 PM
0

We can't start to fix the problem until women admit that it exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:49 PM
13

Most of these are impossible to show until after a woman gives you the opportunity. The problem is that most young men never get the opportunity to show their good traits in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:47 PM

Try a couple of times -> fail -> improve -> Try again -> success. This isn't an option for many young men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:41 PM

There's no lack of men who want emotional intimacy. If anything there are too many of them, women hate guys who show emotion.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:36 PM

I agree it says more about the dating pool. When my girl friends complain about the men they’re trying to date it’s never about dick size, or height, or money (unless they’re like broke broke and mooching). Because those men they are trying to date are already out of the subset of good looking and tall men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:21 PM
3

Yup, women dont even consider average guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/21 08:17 PM
12

No, they are symptoms of the majority of young men being kicked out of the dating market.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/21 06:23 PM
5

It's the same base traits that make a man attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/21 03:54 AM
3

3 & 4. Women sleep around with the best men during her prime, then use a guy who is their equal for his resources. If she didn't give you her best then she doesn't love you. Very simple to understand, but many men still get roped into shitty relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/21 03:53 AM
6

Clearly not,the average guy doesn't have options to have casual sex
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/21 12:13 AM
18

Most young men have no options, so they orbit. They are basically trying to wait in line for that girl to give them a chance.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/21 09:52 PM
23

This stuff comes after you pass the looks threshold. Nobody is going out and getting to know people who they are repulsed by.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 11:55 PM
5

Ah the ol' "if it didn't work it's cuz you didn't try hard enough!!!1!!!1"
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 03:51 AM
13

I know of women who are extremely left wing who decided to date trump supporters because of how they look. It's a very interesting sight.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 03:50 AM
2

Redpill doesn't work for most people who try it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 03:46 AM
2

Therapy isn't going to help people date when they don't even have options.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/06/21 03:45 AM
1

No, women care more about looks than men. Men are willing to date anyone at this point while women have a whole list of traits they need their partner to have.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/21 11:19 PM
1

No, I just know what women want.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/21 07:10 PM
2

Literally just too high standards lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 08:02 PM

M 23 My goal is to marry and have kids I plan to keep raising my income and improve my looks with plastic surgery.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 07:56 PM

If you look in the kink scene you'd see that there are way more submissive men than dominant women.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 02:25 AM

My uni shut down a "men in nursing" event because it wasn't inclusive enough. Few weeks later and there's fliers hanging up for the "women in STEM" event 🤦‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/21 02:20 AM
1

Because those options are still there if they decide to use online dating. And there's a good chance that these women's friends use OLD, and those friends have a huge say in who she dates.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 08:22 PM
2

They don't need to use the apps for it to affect their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 12:38 PM
4

Good thing men are willing to date average and below average women then.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 12:37 PM
7

I never said I was
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 04:09 AM
8

That doesn't stop it from raising women's standards to unrealistic levels.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:21 AM
13

It's a symptom. Guys have used porn for far longer than the rise of sexless men. The problem is almost entirely caused by women's standards being inflated by social media and dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:12 AM
2

If you are bisexual why do you need to find other bisexuals?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:11 AM
10

Honestly if I had the choice I'd be fine with losing reddit and YouTube for the advantage of also losing dating apps.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:08 AM
2

From a dating point of view that would be awesome. I'd wait for a while before I started approaching women again, though. Let them get their high standards out of their system. From a freedom of speech / small government pov I'd be upset.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:06 AM
8

The only guys who have this option are the guys who already have casual sex
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 03:00 AM
5

I don't think that these guys are having trouble seeing the social cues, they just don't care. The high bar that women set forces men to ignore social cues and just pray that something sticks.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 02:49 AM
7

Keep in mind, women find an 8/10 guy as average.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 08:05 PM
1

I still think there's a correlation. You never see guys jump from blue pill to black pill, but it's common to see red pillers go to black pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 05:50 PM
2

I see red pillers go to mgtow and black pill all the time. TRP doesn't work for a significant amount of men. Once they try red pill tactics and find that they don't work, they either give up (mgtow) or get pissed off at the hand they were delt (black pill).
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 05:17 PM
7

Only in western society I should add. Women get treated like shit in 3rd world countries.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 05:11 PM
-3

There's a lot of overlap
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 05:00 PM
1

I'd be fine with it if it was for men too. But as it is right now, only women get body positivity. If you're a man who doesn't fit the conventionally attractive look you are going to get shamed for it. I can't stand hypocrites.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 04:15 PM
78

You mean she's my 1 N and I'm her 1 N? Not only would that be fine, it's ideal.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 04:03 PM
14

Fds is pretty funny, I like to browse it sometimes. It's a group of women who somehow managed to fail at dating even though they are the most privileged group of people to have ever existed in human history.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 04:01 PM
1

Except there are plenty of men who are into average and ugly women? I think you are projecting that men are only into one type, since that's how women are. Men find a wide variety of different traits attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 02:37 PM
1

I don't understand how you could think a significant amount of women can't meet men's standards when the standards are so low
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 12:49 PM
6

You are talking about two different groups of men. The guys who want to hookup are after women who will fuck early on. Guys who want long term relationships want someone who is low/ 0 n.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 12:31 PM
1

All I'm saying is above average guys are the only ones who can get away without paying. Some of them still pay.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 12:18 PM
3

I think is skews more towards women being shallow. Mainly because ugly women have countless options, while even average looking guys struggle to get one.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 04:41 AM
2

I do both. The problem is simply that women value looks more than personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 04:08 AM
6

If you don't have the looks, women won't give you the opportunity to show your personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/21 03:40 AM
1

If all you are after is sex, sure, get a hooker.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 08:11 PM
1

I agree that its not fair, but it's just another shitty thing about being a man. Unless you are well above average, you don't have enough value to not pay for her.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 04:04 PM
6

Sure women have always wanted attractive guys, but they used to be realistic and would accept that not every woman can get with a 8+/10. Now they aren't willing to date in their league anymore, because it's so easy for them to get an attractive guy to pump n dump them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 03:27 PM
4

I wish it was about personality like you're saying. It's not though. The simple fact is, unless the guy is attractive enough he will not have the opportunity to show his personality. You can't possibly know what a guy is like without talking to him. Sure, it might be a deal breaker AFTER you get to know him, but in order to get that far he needed to be hot in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 02:18 PM
1

I'm about a 3/10 now, closer to a 2 before I started really working on my looks. I'm white, 5'11, narrow frame, receding curly hair, grey eyes, cross eyed, big nose, big lips, recessed cheekbones and jaw. My teeth are straight and white but they have lots of gaps and all but one of my front teeth a chipped. 165lbs, I lift so decent amount of that is muscle. Does every man who looks like you struggle the way you do with women also? I've never seen a guy who looks like me with a gf.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/21 04:11 AM
11

I'm not telling anyone to give up. But if you look at what attracts women, it's not the average guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 09:47 PM
12

Game doesn't matter unless you are attractive enough to have women get to know you. And the traits that make men attractive are based on bone structure. Trp loves to tell people "just lift brah" but that doesn't do shit unless you have a good frame underneath.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 09:12 PM
14

You gotta be attractive. Nice face and tall. Neither of those traits can be changed unless you want to count plastic surgery and limb lengthening procedures.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 09:10 PM
1

Depends on if she is actually trad in other areas. It's not a deal breaker, but obviously it's not enough to make a decision with.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 08:54 PM
21

I'd have no problem with putting in tons of effort to get a relationship. The problem is that the traits women seek are not things you can work towards.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/21 08:51 PM
1

Genetic editing is one of the only ways I see the dating market balancing out. More realistically though hypergamy will continue to increase, and since it is impossible for most men to meet these standards they will continue to drop out of society. We'll probably see lots more mass shootings, maybe the government will step in to fix the situation but I doubt it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 11:32 PM
2

He's mentioned this before but never says what it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 11:28 PM
2

TIL that wanting a partner capable of having a successful relationship is immature
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 05:59 PM
2

Because I want to be able to pair bond with a woman. I'm not going to ignore her sexual history and walk into a relationship that's bound to fail.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 05:58 PM
3

Yeah just grow your bones bro
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 05:48 PM
7

It's not hard to find a guy who will put in a lot of effort. Its only hard if you limit yourself to the few top men that all the other women are competing for.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 04:04 AM
3

You can get to know them pretty well through messages, then arrange for a date if you click.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 03:53 AM
2

If they cared about personality they could swipe right on people to get to know them. Instead they only swipe right on the same few attractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 03:46 AM
2

That's definitely not what online dating data suggests
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 01:37 AM
2

Then why are they hypergamous?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 01:06 AM
3

The sex that cares more about looks isn't visually activated?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 12:38 AM
1

Can you give me a hint for what I should be looking for? I don't have much to go off here.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/21 11:02 PM

I'm not trying to get laid, I'm trying to get a relationship. The only reason I'm interested is because none of the other mainstream advice works.

Can you at least share what books you were talking about in your previous comment?

Abstract It has been hypothesized that female orgasm evolved to facilitate recruitment of high-quality genes for offspring. Supporting evidence indicates that female orgasm promotes conception, although this may be mediated by the timing of female orgasm in relation to male ejaculation. This hypothesis also predicts that women will achieve orgasm more frequently when copulating with high-quality males, but limited data exist to support this prediction. We therefore explored relationships between…

I'd rather go with the data, but thanks for your opinion.

Here you go
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 03:02 PM

It sucks unless you are an attractive man or a woman. It's 100% based on looks. IRL isn't much better, it's like 95% looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 11:13 AM
3

The best predictor of a woman's orgasm is the attractiveness of the man's face.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 11:08 AM
12

There's no lack of men who would put effort into dating a woman. It's just that women don't want to date these guys, they want the top few.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 02:44 AM
1

I don't claim to be an expert, I just see so many women ignoring perfectly good options in order to get pump n dumped by the same few guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 09:25 PM
0

The thing is that there are plenty of good options women have, but women won't accept anything that isnt perfect.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 09:20 PM
3

No, men's looks are mostly determined by bone structure.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 09:13 PM

Another male, saying what women should be called? We are called men, not males
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/21 01:23 AM

I've seen this shit happen to my Chad friend. He got approached three times while we were out getting a new tv for our apartment. He's had women drive 90+ minutes to come suck his dick and leave. It's a whole different world for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/21 09:16 PM
3

Chadfish for yourself then.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/21 09:13 PM
2

You didn't already know that women aren't empathetic?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/21 08:08 PM
1

Yeah I go on the plastic surgery sub all the time and it's full of good looking women trying to get perfect looks so they can get the best men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/21 07:53 PM
1

It works for the same guys that online dating works for. The guys who aren't attractive enough for old are the same ones that women don't want to be friends with.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/21 08:10 PM
1

My standards are that she has decent hygiene and isn't a complete degenerate. Not unrealistic.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/21 07:47 PM
5

Attractive men don't even need to approach, women do it for them. Having "game" is just bullshit that trp and pua's came up with to lure new people in. There's a reason it doesn't work unless you're attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/21 07:44 PM
3

Of course I do. That's what makes people interesting. For whatever non-sensical reason, women are throwing around the notion that looks are all that matters It's most likely projection
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/21 01:04 AM
1

Yeah I probably would, sex isn't a huge deal to me. Regardless, it's unrealistic for women to all expect to get the same few attractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 08:40 PM
1

I'm my own boss, I'm not a bootlicker lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 08:03 PM
1

It's still unrealistic though.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 07:15 PM
1

You would think so, but some people would rather live above their needs. Guess that just leaves more opportunities for those of us who are willing to take them.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 07:14 PM
5

That doesn't mean it's difficult to be financially stable. Most Americans live above their means.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 07:06 PM
3

If you're in the us it's pretty easy to be financially stable
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 06:17 PM
1

I'm reasonably attracted to you What makes a man attractive is almost completely out of his control. And women rate men much harsher than men rate women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 04:28 PM
6

It's usually used by women to write men off without making her seem shallow. In reality personality doesn't really matter all that much to women. It's only important when your looks are right on the border of being attractive. In that case it can give you a little boost.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 02:37 PM
0

There's nothing wrong with pointing out that other people are causing the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 02:17 PM
1

Their standards for looks are what's unreasonable. They are based entirely on traits outside of our control.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/21 02:01 PM
1

For me I care more about having a relationship than sex. If all I wanted was sex id just pay an escort. Body count is extremely important for guys who are after long term relationships. A girl who can't pair bond isn't going to make for a good life long partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 06:19 PM
13

Like I said, it comes from women's expectation to be coddled.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 04:36 AM
5

Well the most obvious answer is that they are more likely to have children. Also more previous relationships, which may have ended badly.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 04:21 AM
19

If women expect to be coddled then it shouldn't be a surprise that you are also treated like a child.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 04:17 AM
5

don’t want the best possible outcome for every one of your fellow countrymen Both sides want good for the country, they just have different opinions on how to achieve this.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 03:51 AM
1

I'd prefer it if they weren't extreme. Don't care if it's left or right.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 03:48 AM
6

Dating for women is easy from around ages 18-35 as long as they know how to vet, and aren't focused on shallow traits. After 35 it starts to get more challenging because most of the people in this age range are going to have lots of baggage.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/21 03:42 AM
2

Idk what you think guys can try to get out of being ugly. At most you can get +1 from lifting, and good fashion. That still leaves most unattractive guys with nowhere to go
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 03:16 AM
6

That would only be able to happen if the guy was attractive enough for her to get to know him....
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 03:07 AM
1

Those things are pretty mainstream these days. But even if those were extremely nerdy hobbies it wouldn't matter. Men can't afford to be picky, anything goes.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 03:05 AM
-1

You can choose to get to know people and let attraction develop.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 02:59 AM
4

I mean why can’t someone in the bottom 50% work to get out of that bubble? Are you seriously asking why ugly people don't just get better genetics? Even for ppd this is a new low for having meaningful discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 02:56 AM
10

Personality is so important to women that they won't even get to know a guy unless he's attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 02:42 AM
4

Looks are obviously the most important, without them you won't even get the chance to show your personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 02:40 AM
-1

Having a bad choice is better than no choice at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/05/21 02:39 AM
3

They don't have to do anything to attract men. But to attract the few guys that women all want they need to look good.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/21 05:58 PM
3

If you are average it will help you get women. If you are ugly then getting muscles doesn't help at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/21 08:30 PM
42

They are looked down / cherished by different groups of people. Guys who want relationships cherish modest women and look down on promiscuous women. Guys who want hookups cherish promiscuous women and look down on modest women.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/21 08:28 PM

Looks are like 20% of dating. There's no way you actually believe this

That's really not the case though. It shouldn't be going from 51% down to 25%. Ideally it would be around 1-2%

Women value relationships with only the very best men. There is an increasing amount of guys who can't get into relationships because they can't possibly meet women's standards. The issue is created by online dating so it doesn't really affect older generations. Notice how the majority of men 18-29 are single
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/21 12:51 AM

Okay, but it still sets women's standards unrealistically high whether I use it or not.

What women want is for attractive men to be sexually aggressive, and unattractive men to never be sexual at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 08:24 PM

It ruins the market for guys who can't get matches with OLD
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 08:21 PM

Ill agree that it helps with education and building a career, because those are things you can work for. I taught myself how to start a business with the internet, now I'm making more than my degree would've gotten me. The same isn't true for dating though. Women's standards are based on traits that men cannot change. The internet doesn't help men grow taller, get wider cheekbones, stronger jawline, etc. It has only made things worse by giving women unlimited access to men who otherwise would've…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 08:06 PM

Feminine looking men still have strong jawlines, wide cheekbones, and hunter eyes. Women are still going after the same few features, just presented in a different way.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 12:31 PM

And funnily enough women only want romantic attention from the top few best looking men.

You keep saying it's about sex but most of them are after relationships. If it was about sex guys would just see an escort.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 12:42 AM

The problem isn't about sex, it's about them not being able to get relationships. It's easy enough to get an escort already, it's not going to change anything for most people.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 12:35 AM

They have self esteem issues because they are trying to date up. The guys at the top are only going to commit to the best, so average and below average women feel pressured to max their looks. Women date up, they feel pressure because they don't see average men. It doesn't matter that unattractive women have tons of options, women don't see them as options because they aren't the best.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 12:09 AM

Sounds pretty nice to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/21 04:10 PM

For women it seems mostly objective. They all like the same general features, the only difference in their tastes is small stuff. They want a tall guy with prominent facial features, but might disagree on what eye color they find attractive for example. It's much more subjective with men. It blows my mind how different guys standards are. No matter if a woman is tall/short, skinny/fat, light skin/dark skin, etc, there will always be a guy who's into that.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/21 02:36 PM

How do you figure those are good odds? If guys are going through their life without meeting an exception the entire time, those odds are terrible.

Obviously top 20% exists. It's almost entirely about looks. Reaching the top 20% is can be anywhere from easy to impossible depending on where you are starting. The problem is that women's attraction is based on characteristics that are either difficult or impossible to change. Some things like facial features can be improved with surgery, but if you're short for example you will never reach the top 20%

The standards for looks is unrealistic, but women should raise their standards for the guys personality/habits/having his shit together etc. Really shows where women's priorities are when they would rather be with a hot loser than an average looking successful guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/21 09:30 PM

Many men are desperate for relationships and will take whatever they can get. I think the question would be better stated as "will women start to lower their standards to a realistic level?", and I think the answer is probably not.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/21 06:48 PM

Okay, but men who are actually average are perceived as below average. So what you are basically saying is that women care about traits other than looks in regards to the subset of men who are good looking, which just agrees with what the lookism people are saying.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/21 12:12 PM

Without good looks you don't get the opportunity to show personality. The average guy is rated as below average by women. They simply don't get the opportunity you think they do.

It is more dependent on if they put themselves out there. Ugly women get approach a lot if they go out. And it doesn't matter how hot a woman is if she never leaves her house and doesn't use dating apps, she'll never be approached.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/21 02:56 AM

Women always want more. If a better guy comes around she's not going to think twice about leaving you. But if you are good enough she won't be actively looking, so your odds of maintaining a relationship are alright.

You have a better chance of winning the lottery with 1000 tickets than you do with 0. And tbh I have no sympathy for these women who complain that dating is hard for them. Cares about personality above looks & money. Won't branch swing. Virgin. Has hobbies and passions of her own. Is able to talk through a conflict instead of becoming extremely emotional. Doesn't lose attraction to her partner when he has a moment of weakness. Have any of you ever met a so-called unicorn? Nope, they don't exist. Neither do unicorns.

But honestly most women prefer true nice guys Kinda hard to believe that when women decide whether they are attracted to a guy before getting to know him
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 06:20 PM

Actually I knew of a girl in college who was a very innocent type of person and she ended up dating a drug dealer. Last I heard of them they both ended up getting arrested, I think the guy got her hooked on some drugs. People don't always hang with others who have similar personalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/21 06:12 PM

What they are saying is that women don't prioritize a good personality when looking for a partner. They search for looks first, then personality. Some women luck out and get a guy who looks good and has an average or above personality. Some women date assholes and are fine with it because he's hot. Some women dont date at all because they can't get a hot guy to commit. If they cared more about a guy being nice/good/whatever then they wouldn't have such a high bar for looks.

The types of people who don't have hookups are some combination of religious, introverted, and unattractive. If she wants a guy who has none of these traits it's going to be nearly impossible to find. Unrealistic standards.

Attraction can develop as you get to know someone. The problem many men face is they never get the chance to show their personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 10:07 AM

The problem is that women who claim to care mostly about personality actually mean they care about the personality of the subset of men they are attracted to. /r/PurplePillDebate28/04/21 03:31 AM

Men will say these women are unattractive, but still date them. That's the difference. Women won't date guys they find unattractive. Everybody is an asshole on the internet, that's just how things are. . I mean men can appear more appealing to a women by having a good job or social clout where Men don't get to show these traits without being attractive enough to have women talk to him
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 04:08 AM
5

Plenty of guys are fine with or are even into obese women. I think when you say "men" you really mean "men I am attracted to".
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 04:00 AM
7

but I don’t see men supporting less attractive women, Mens standards for looks couldn't possibly be any lower. Even obese women are getting more matches than the most attractive guys. And from what I can see, men just aren’t on board with any type of body positivity no matter who it’s for. They don’t really wanna hear “all men are handsome in their own way,” they want to be better than other men. Men want some women attracted to them, not to be lied to.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 03:31 AM
12

Men don't care how each other look, or how attractive other men find them. A body positivity movement for men would never work because it would need women to support less attractive men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/21 02:27 AM

Women aren't going around getting to know guys they are repulsed by.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 09:05 PM

Most relationships were formed before social media and online dating. These are the things that raised the bar so high. If you look at people who are trying to date post ~2010, there are tons of men who can't get relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 01:50 PM
6

Just like we talked about in the last thread, the bar is only low after you make it past their looks threshold. But the looks threshold is extremely high.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 12:45 PM
6

I see people say this all the time but nobody explains how these guys are showing their personality when women aren't giving them the opportunity
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 12:36 PM
4

Men are into a wider variety of features than women though. You can find a guy into every trait imaginable, but women's tastes are usually very similar.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/21 12:31 PM
7

In my experience I'd be find with dating someone I wasn't attracted to. Some guys are into ugly women though.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 10:44 PM
6

Right, and ugly women aren't willing to get with ugly men....
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 10:43 PM
6

That's not the case for most men. If all it took was effort people wouldn't be looking for groups like trp all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 10:35 PM
15

Ugly men have no problem with dating ugly women, but the opposite doesn't hold true.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 10:15 PM
5

I've seen it happen, and I know there's lots of stories on subs like relationship_advice about it happening. Its not every woman but it's a significant amount, most men are better off not showing any emotion if they want to keep the relationship going.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 10:13 PM
1

but how do you respond when people call you judgemental or slut-shamming for dating not someone promiscuous. I simply don't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 01:37 PM

I don't have 100k to drop on plastic surgery to get the look women want

/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 04:29 AM

How exactly is this an easy time for most men to date when women won't even talk to you if you don't meet their extreme standards for looks?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 04:27 AM
1

Yeah but when women only consider attractive men as men the bar ends up being much higher than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 04:19 AM
3

Ask any woman dating a "good guy," an ugly guy, a "beta," I would but they don't exist 😟
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 04:03 AM
16

If I remember correctly it's something like 34% of guys on tinder said they used steroids. Women think they want a guy with just a bit of muscle but in reality those guys are on steroids.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/21 03:26 AM
10

Women are only considering men they are attracted to. The bar for looks is extremely high for men, but if you can get past that everything else is easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 09:32 PM
3

So no?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 06:03 PM
5

Without looks men don't even get the opportunity to show their personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 05:59 PM
1

Think about it. Personality can't do anything when you don't have the opportunity to show it. Its not a variable in the equation, so how would it change the outcome?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 01:28 PM
1

Try going outside?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 02:31 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 02:30 AM

I feel like if other people were delt the same cards as me I would have fared better than most. Without something exceptional happening to me like getting rich I don't think there is room for much improvement.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 05:14 PM

I've asked out probably 15 guys. Plenty have said yes Whoa, a whole FIFTEEN guys?!? I stopped counting at 100, and haven't got a yes so far. You live on a different planet.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:31 PM
5

The average guy isn't going to reject a girl unless he's already in a relationship. You're only talking about top tier men.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:11 PM
1

I wish I had easy options like women do to be attractive. Its gonna cost me nearly 100k to get the surgeries I need to become attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:27 AM
2

Guys with lots of options don't put in much effort, they don't have to. Guys without many options will do everything they can to make the relationship work.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/21 12:18 AM

No men loses attraction when a woman pursues him. That's bullshit you tell yourselves as an excuse not to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 11:54 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 11:22 PM

Yup
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 09:19 PM
-3

I want to be able to pair bond with her
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 11:03 AM
-1

Virginity, good with children, caring, passionate about something
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 02:57 AM
4

Yes, as a concept. All men dislike it in practice, all men dislike it when the woman has no idea what she's doing. Been there, it's the same with both types of dudes. You are assuming that men only care about sex. Many men, particularly ones who are looking for virgins, want a solid relationship more than they want sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/21 12:41 AM
8

I think a lot of men don't realize how isolating this can feel. Women have never cared about the millions of isolated men, why should we care that some woman can't find a hot guy to fuck?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/21 12:24 PM
3

As long as hes hot, sure.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/21 12:17 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/21 12:38 PM

Not really, neither can hold a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/21 10:51 PM

If a woman has 9 partners at 23 she can't even get one guy to stick around for 6 months.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/21 05:47 PM

Men are held to a higher standard than women are these days. Its been that way for around a decade now.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/21 04:25 PM
-3

Both are disgusting, but one is slightly less disgusting? Does it really matter at that point?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/21 04:15 PM
2

Not true, ugly women tend to have the highest n count of any women. They keep putting out trying to get higher value men to commit.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/21 04:12 PM
2

I don't doubt that demisexuals exist, I just doubt that it's any meaningful percent of the population. If most women care about an emotional connection like these people keep claiming, women would swipe right on the majority of guys online. But we can clearly see it's the opposite.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 03:25 PM
2

I'm just pointing out that the emotional attraction women claim to have is only towards good looking men. Which begs the question of whether there is even an emotional connection at all, or is it just the halo effect.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 03:13 PM
0

So much for demisexuality then, huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 03:10 PM

And how do you get the opportunity for a conversation without being attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 01:41 PM
2

how are these women supposedly developing an emotional connection to someone they haven't even talked to and got to know?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 01:38 PM
1

Cold approach is a waste of time if you aren't one of the guys who gets signals from women, which is the same group that need it to work the most. Personality doesn't come into play if they aren't attracted to you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/21 01:57 AM
1

I sure hope so
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 07:10 PM
3

Men can't have many standards because women's are so high. We just take what we can get .
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/21 04:09 PM
29

Not really. Most guys that I know who aren't successful with women aren't looking for casual sex, they want relationships. You aren't going to get that from a prostitute. I do think that sex work like onlyfans will get more popular though. The guys who spend there money on onlyfans are doing it mostly for the opportunity to interact with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 10:50 PM
2

this would only work for women
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 09:54 PM
2

People get the idea, it's just that in reality it doesn't happen very often.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/21 09:44 PM
3

There's not many places to find non shallow women, so you might as well cast as wide a net as possible. Plus if I get a match on tinder I know they are okay with my appearance, so I don't have to worry about that.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/21 07:58 PM
0

I'm not looking for hookups but for relationships I don't really have any standards, mostly preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/21 07:56 PM
7

Because before OLD men only had to compete with local guys, now we have to compete with every guy in a 20 mile radius or more. Its like why the job market sucks.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/21 12:35 PM
5

Not in my experience. I was around people like this for years. There was always people partying and doing drugs at our place. The best looking ones had plenty of sex, sure. Not the average or below guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 08:07 PM
0

I met my partner at a house party. I generally meet people when I'm already out doing things with people So you have already preselected a group of guys. Not very different from swiping right on tinder and going from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 07:55 PM
1

Yup. Tinder is how women act when nobody is watching.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 07:50 PM
2

Well I approach a lot myself and it's gotten me nowhere. , it’s more getting a relationship and commitment that women struggle with Compared to guys even that's much easier. You have options to pick from.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 07:48 PM
1

Bruh you're 3.5/10 and can still get 243 dates? I knew women had it good but God damn. I'm about 3/10 myself but I'm a guy, never been on a date in my life.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 03:02 AM
17

Some people are ugly, some are hot
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/21 02:53 AM

I have the opposite of the facial features they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 02:08 PM

You had me at the title, but that quickly fell apart
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 02:01 PM

If trp actually worked there wouldn't be so many lonely guys. There isn't a lack of effort, there's a lack of working solutions. Ops right, trp is basically just being sold as the solution by sleazy salesmen
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 05:28 AM
1

It depends on what field inside of stem you're in. I know plenty of biologists who stayed in academia because they couldn't find work elsewhere. Id say as long as you make enough to pay off your degree you'll be fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 08:27 PM
1

Personally I don't really care but I think the problem is they have way too much student debt. Plus more women are in liberal arts than high earning fields, so they aren't able to pay those debts.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/21 07:50 PM
1

Yes
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/21 09:31 AM
2

I still cold approach and know guys who do too. Its not that men don't approach anymore, it's that the men who do approach aren't the ones women want.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/21 10:34 PM
3

You are assuming that average and below men are missing bad relationships and end up in a good one. What really happens is they miss out on some bad relationships but still end up in a betabucks situation. Men are still getting a bad deal, they are just missing out on the fun before hand.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/21 07:33 PM
5

I've yet to see somebody rant about women having careers. But to answer your question, more men than women date down class wise. So they already do.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/21 12:35 PM
5

I don't see many men trying to go out of their league. They know to be realistic because they always get shot down otherwise. Women can fuck attractive men and they'll think that they deserve that same guy for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/21 03:10 AM
2

They would be happier in a relationship with someone who actually cares about them than a guy who just sees them as another hole to fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/21 03:08 AM
5

Instead of trying to date up 4 points women should either date guys in their league or not date at all
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/21 11:27 PM
7

They try to, but unattractive women think they deserve attractive men since they can sleep with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/21 04:49 AM
0

It would depend on her reasoning. Women tend to overuse the word creep. If the dude is stalking her or doing something else that is clearly wrong she should get away. If the guy isn't doing anything but happens to look weird then he shouldn't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/21 04:47 AM
3

I think it's much more likely that you are going after aggressive men than most men being aggressive.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/21 04:43 AM
8

I'm not asking for a script, I'm just pointing out that there is no correlation. Attractive guys who don't even practice basic hygiene do better than the average guy. Psychopath murderers do better than the average guy. They don't work on themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/21 06:17 PM
7

Personality doesn't matter when you never have the opportunity to show it.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/21 06:15 PM
11

So many men do these things, yet women still want more.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/21 06:05 PM
2

Women always want the best few men. If all men improve then they just choose the best of the improved men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/21 06:04 PM
6

Men don't care about looks as much as you think. I feel like lots of women project how important they find attraction onto men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/21 03:44 AM
1

In my own experience it doesn't do anything. I went from not really caring about my looks to lifting, wearing stylish clothes, spending lots on nice haircuts, skincare, ect. There was no noticable change irl or online. Also, am I supposed to be surprised by your video? He goes from being an attractive guy to being an attractive guy. Let's see an actually ugly guy turn attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 11:28 PM
5

Personality doesn't matter if you never get the opportunity to show it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 03:46 PM
12

If women liked nice guys they'd be in relationships with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/21 03:41 PM
3

Usually just fat but sometimes not. They can sleep with chads but can't lock them down. This makes them think they deserve a 10/10 when in reality the best they could get relationships wise is a 3/10. That's why they never try with ugly guys, and explains why the smp is so bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 08:49 PM
2

Most people here don't go outside.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/03/21 01:02 PM
5

There are traits that are generally accepted as being attractive, and he has all of them. If you can't understand this then I'm not going to bother wasting my time arguing with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/21 08:44 PM
1

They think they deserve a high value guy without being high value themselves. Its a sub full of entitlement.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/21 08:41 PM
9

Just a few days ago you were going on about how Pete Davidson is ugly, so we have no choice but to conclude that these "ugly" guys are actually 8/10. You have no credibility.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/21 08:37 PM
5

Its not a deal breaker as long as she is relationship material
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 11:47 PM
1

Women don't lower their standards for a relationship. Women barely even interact with men they don't find attractive unless they have to.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 07:20 PM
3

Take a look at Sam Walton's autobiography if you haven't, I feel like you'd like it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 07:17 PM
2

No, but all my other problems would be bearable if I wasn't lonely
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 12:34 PM
8

Its not about sex for me, it's about relationships. So if she's my gf then my problems are basically eliminated. Otherwise it doesn't help at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 01:29 AM
1

Chad is an attractive guy, that's it really. it's more that women never get to know unattractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/21 01:27 AM
1

Guys who aren't chads don't have women trying to get to know them. I find it very unlikely that those guys weren't chads.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/21 09:33 PM
1

I can almost guarantee his bitterness seeps into conversations he has with women. Which would mean they are getting to know him
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/21 07:57 PM
4

Yup.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 09:18 PM
3

Yeah but in real life you wouldn't be able to see his comment history. You'd only know by talking to him.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 09:18 PM
3

I'm an extrovert, and I know plenty of introverts who do way better than I do with dating. I think people overstate how much introversion/extroversion matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 09:08 PM
1

If it were his personality that would mean women are getting to know him, which doesn't sound like it's the case, and it certainly isn't for most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 11:52 AM
2

I've been lifting for years, started dressing well, doing skincare, haircare, all the normal stuff to improve my looks. No change, but I'm starting way below average. Probably going to try plastic surgery and if that doesn't work I'll call it quits.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 11:45 AM
2

People like to say that it's their confidence that gets them dates/hookups but it's usually just people who want to act like they are responsible for that outcome and not pure luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 11:36 AM
7

He is tall, has a good jawline, wide cheekbones, and a good hairline. If he's not above average then you must think that the average joe is a 2/10
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/21 12:34 AM
3

That's why I agreed with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 07:02 PM
5

It only matters after the looks requirement is met. Women aren't going out and getting to know 2/10 guys, even though some of them have 10/10 personalities.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 06:44 PM
8

Exactly, personality doesn't matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 06:33 PM
6

He's 6'3 with masculine facial features. He's well above the average guy. But then again, women rate 8/10s as unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 06:09 PM
8

You're surprised she's dating someone who is conventionally attractive? Goes to show how much looks matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 05:50 PM
1

Probably because women get more attention on social media than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 05:46 PM
13

Looks are the first and most important thing women look for. If you aren't attractive they aren't going to get to know your personality or wealth.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 03:39 PM
2

Anybody who refuses to take responsibility for their life is likely not going to be very attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 01:14 PM
6

Its shitty advice, but it's not like there are many alternatives. Better than OLD at least.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 01:13 PM
1

Then the post isn't about you? Most women aren't like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 01:42 AM
3

Right, so in other words you gave them the chance to get to know you, and for you to know them. That's not how it works for ugly men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 10:05 PM
1

It doesn't fix dating problems because being child free isn't even discussed until you're both dating
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 09:47 PM
5

Better yourself, put yourself out there and date down. People at the bottom can't date down.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 09:41 PM
0

They can't get to know each other unless she gives the guy a chance though. The vast majority of women don't give a chance to ugly guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 09:38 PM
3

Women need to be more realistic in their standards for men. Men need to stop simping
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 01:47 AM
2

Most guys wouldn't be able to get relationships and marriage if money wasn't a factor. And the looks that women are after aren't related to being in good health, it's height and prominent facial features.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 11:01 PM
1

Like everyone else is saying it's mostly about looks. I'd be more interested in advice from an ugly guy who has had a few relationships than a 9/10 guy who sleeps with new women every night.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 09:22 PM
3

It would make it worse for most men. Wealth is the only thing that the average or below average guy can work on to get relationships. The less important money is the more important looks + status matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 09:15 PM
1

At 10+ partners she's undatable to all but the most desperate guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 11:58 AM
1

Very compelling argument
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 11:55 AM
2

This doesn't really happen much. It may seem like it does, since women rate 80% of guys as unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 11:50 AM
3

Putting in the work doesn't cut it for most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 12:43 PM
2

Yes, it's a big green flag
/r/PurplePillDebate13/03/21 12:42 PM
7

It doesn't really work like that. The women who are after Chad aren't into ugly guys, that's why they are going after Chad. It doesn't matter if this introduces the unattractive guy to more women, since they are a subset of women who are only into attractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 09:06 PM
2

I really wonder how many people on this sub actually go outside
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 09:02 PM
1

I'm not talking about hookups, I mean relationships. You can't show a girl that you're compatible if she isn't willing to talk to you. The problem that most guys face is that women won't get to know their personality because they aren't immediately attracted to the guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 04:06 AM

You need to be attractive, wealthy, or famous compared to the other guys who are at your university. Without one of those traits you simply have no way to have women get to know you.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 03:38 AM
2

Yeah I did a bit of both. But without being some combination of attractive, wealthy, or famous, there are very few opportunities for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 02:59 AM
3

Joining clubs, meeting people in classes, going to local events, all the normal things people recommend.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/21 02:53 AM
5

Not really
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 02:09 PM
8

I'm about to graduate without any woman getting to know me. And this seems pretty common among my peers as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 02:06 PM

The guys pressuring women to do that are the frat boy types, not loser redditors
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/21 02:03 PM

How men are invisible to women unless they are extremely attractive/rich/famous And how little other traits like personality matter
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 08:16 PM
3

Women with no job tend to rely on their partner to live. This means they lower their standards in other areas. Women with jobs don't need a partner as much so their standards are extremely high. Since most men can't meet these high standards, they go for the first woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 08:13 PM
3

Trp is about hooking up with lots of women. They don't really care how she feels because they aren't trying to keep her long.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 08:10 PM
1

Pair bonding.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 07:50 PM
2

Barely any standards for looks at all it seems
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 03:25 PM
0

Bare minimum: Kind Not addicted to drugs Around my age Low n Not shallow Preferred: Humorous Has some sort of job Passionate about something Virgin Average or above average intelligence Fine with their partner showing emotion Not extremely political (either side) Hopefully I can get at least half of the preferred section but it doesn't seem too likely.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 03:21 PM
11

Hit the nail on the head. Women think guys on tinder only want hookups because they are going for guys out of their league. Obviously a 10/10 guy isn't going to settle for a 5/10 girl, but he will pump n dump her.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/21 03:08 PM
2

If you are looking for certain traits why would you go for a guy who doesn't have them? And yes, I do have those qualities, but in my experience most women aren't interested in them unless the guy is also attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 03:34 PM
2

Second, we want love, affection, protection, adoration, affirmation, loyalty and honesty. Its really easy to get those if you truly aren't going after the top 20%
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 02:06 PM
1

In your scenario I would swipe right on the uglier one, because I know what league I'm in. Its not shocking that women want attractive men, it's that they are unable to accept people on their level.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 01:50 PM
2

Its about getting to know each other. Coffee is a good bet. I wouldn't spend more than $50 whatever it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/21 01:45 PM
2

You asked if the guys who ask out hundreds of women are the same guys who can't get relationships. Obviously they are, because if they could get a relationship they wouldn't be approaching anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 08:00 PM
4

What I'm asking is what specific situations are average men getting a chance in your opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:59 PM
2

Once you are in a relationship you typically stop asking people out.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:58 PM
2

Because most men aren't polyamorous
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:55 PM
6

When does the average man get a chance in your eyes?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:54 PM
2

Yes. It's not like guys who can get relationships are going out of their way to approach thousands of people.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:50 PM
1

There's literally a sub dedicated to men who approach women by the hundreds. How much more are we supposed to approach?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:47 PM
3

You realize that most men do these things, yet there are tons of them who never get the opportunity to talk to women?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:41 PM
3

How did you know you had things in common before you got to know them?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:32 PM
3

Yet so many guys talk about how they put themselves out there all the time and never have any options.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:32 PM
1

Being shredded doesn't really do that much, unless your starting point was being fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:30 PM
20

No women ever answer this question because it destroys their whole argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 07:23 PM
5

How are guys supposed to be vulnerable if nobody pays attention to them? Most men don't have tons of options, some have none at all. Its nothing like how women have dozens of guys to pick through at any moment.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 06:53 PM
17

Yes, and the women gravitate towards the attractive men in the group.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 06:41 PM
16

How are women supposed to tell that you're interesting if they don't know you? The whole reason that attractiveness is so important is because it gets your foot in the door to allow you to show your other traits. Both attractive and ugly guys have the same odds of being interesting. Why would a woman waste her time getting to know an ugly guy if she can get to know a good looking one?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/21 06:36 PM
5

That's clearly not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/21 09:24 PM
4

Ugly men don't need to buy a Halloween costume. More seriously though there isn't any advantage to being an ugly guy. It sucks. And everyone saying that ugly people are invisible are incredibly wrong. Average people are invisible. Ugly people get treated poorly.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/21 09:22 PM
3

Why is this men's problem? If women want more nice guys then they should stop rewarding assholes.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/21 09:20 PM
1

probably why most guys end up dating down
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/21 09:15 PM
2

I don't really see why women need advice on dating, it seems pretty straightforward. The only thing they need to look out for is guys who aren't being honest about their intentions, but that's not even dating advice it's general life advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/21 09:11 PM
1

It's the looks. If you don't have good enough looks you never get to show your personality, so it's irrelevant.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/21 09:06 PM
1

Missing out on sex isn't the problem, it's that men don't get to have relationships anymore.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/21 09:49 PM
2

It’s way more about the way y’all talk about and treat women How could this be it when women aren't willing to get to know guys they aren't attracted to?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/21 09:45 PM
1

It's pretty easily proven by making an old account with pictures of an ugly woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/21 09:29 PM
1

no, but the problem is that the vast majority of women are like this. We don't have much of a choice but to try with shallow women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/21 09:13 PM
1

The logical side of me knows that I should give up, but emotionally I don't think it would be worth it to continue if I was certain to remain single. Its a tough question. Guys who give up have nothing to live for, but if you don't give up you're basically torturing yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 04:22 PM
3

I've been trying for years, how much longer do i need to wait?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 04:14 PM
2

You can't go to parties if you aren't invited.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 04:08 PM
2

The average software engineer isn't getting a gf though. Them having the opportunity to talk to women means they are doing much better than the average guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 06:17 AM
2

This is a great example of selection bias. The guys that know you clearly have women who are willing to talk to them. The ones that can't get a relationship (the majority) aren't talking to women, including you.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 05:44 AM
1

When did you graduate? Most guys in college these days can't get a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 05:35 AM

You're right, it's not 80/20, probably more like 90/10
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 05:31 AM
0

Yeah it's really bad. Only the very top few guys have any success with women. Average and below don't even get to interact with many women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/21 05:30 AM
4

You'd think that, but women are quite hostile towards men they find undesirable.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/03/21 10:48 AM
1

Not unless you have good facial features to go along with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/21 03:13 AM
1

Most guys can't because women won't let them. The guys they want to talk to they are already matched with or talking to.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/21 12:29 AM
3

Talking to people isn't much of an effort, but replying to women on tinder is even less effort. People are going to go for the path of least resistance.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/21 12:06 AM
3

I think you're the one missing the point. People aren't going to bother putting in effort that they don't need to. If I had hundreds of tinder matches I'm not going to waste time asking women out in person. It's common sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/21 11:37 PM
1

Well it's a good thing they don't have to then.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/21 11:01 PM
2

I see women say this all the time, and they tend to be talking about average guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/21 10:53 PM
3

Most guys don't have the opportunity to meet women irl, and the ones who do are the same ones who get all the matches online.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/21 10:52 PM
27

It's only going to get worse. Women's standards will continue to be unrealistic. Sites like onlyfans will become more accepted since the average guy has no options to interact with women. By the time guys reach their 30s they'll be able to get post wall women, but they won't bother since they have gotten used to being alone for the past 12+ years.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/21 10:48 PM
1

I have never heard a guy point out a woman having a flat ass or chest. We really don't care.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/21 03:49 AM
2

Why bother with any of that when you can easily get guys without it? It seems like the only reason women try so hard is because they are competing over the same couple of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/21 03:47 AM
1

I already don't have sex or use porn. But if I had that kind of money id want to use it to get a relationship, which would probably mean I'd need to be able to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/21 03:29 AM
1

I'm more attracted to women who are taller than me then those who aren't. I don't bother approaching them because nearly every woman wants a taller man then themselves
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 11:41 PM
24

Any guy who is actually high value wouldn't get within ten feet of a fds woman
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 10:46 PM
25

Men who put in effort don't get results unless they already inherited the good traits women want. Funnily enough the guys who are good looking, wealthy, or famous don't even have to put in effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 08:19 PM
7

Stop looking at models, actors, porn stars, etc that give you unrealistic standards
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 08:17 PM
57

The average guy can't reach women's standards, so many of them stop caring. It doesn't cost much to live in mom's basement and they aren't going to have kids with their hand, so why bother making money either?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/21 04:33 AM
3

If they were looking for their life partner they wouldn't be sleeping around. Just because you have the opportunity to have sex doesn't mean you have to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/21 07:23 PM
5

It's not really a surprise. There's a reason it doesn't work for most guys. It's like a sleazy get rich quick scheme that pulls a bunch of desperate people in but doesn't get them anywhere.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/21 02:27 AM

Take a drive down to a local university campus and you'd see how wrong you were.

To enjoy life in hookup culture just: looksmaxx, live in a big city, put yourself first and have a kick-ass time with your bros, and enjoy hookups/fwb when you get them That's not how it works for most guys though. The problem isn't that the world is changing, that is always happening. The problem is that it's happening in a way that makes it so most men can't compete. It's similar to how the job market is getting worse because of automation.

It's the dating apps. Instead of only hooking up with the occasional hot guy at a bar, she has access to hundreds of attractive guys on her phone. Imagine you could match with 95% of women on tinder. Wouldn't you hook up with a different hot chick every night? Sure women would fuck less guys because they have lower sex drive, but there is plenty of opportunity to rack up a high n count.

I'm jealous of a lot of things, I won't bother going over the dating ones because they have been said a million times. Also I'm only talking about western women, I'd hate to be a woman in some shithole where they can't even go outside. I'm jealous that when women accomplish something it's celebrated, but when a guy does it's always followed by "but he had male privilege" I'm jealous that people care about women's problems, while men are told to just man up. And nobody is getting to know ugly people.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 07:58 PM

What I'm trying to tell you is that character doesn't matter because I never get the opportunity to show my character for women. Looks are the most important feature for both men and women because without them nothing else matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 07:53 PM
2

I'm usually rated around a 3 and I can assure you thats not the case. Even when I try aiming down they have no interest, and why would they? All it takes is 30 seconds on tinder to find a better looking guy who would date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 06:54 PM
3

Looks are the first requirement to show those things. Sure they can do a little, but you need to be attractive enough for them to kick in.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/21 06:39 PM
1

I wouldn't be so sure of that. Most men aren't recognized for their accomplishments.

Being alone is the worst thing I have ever experienced mentally, can't really describe it. I remember reading that loneliness is worse for you than smoking. /r/PurplePillDebate08/02/21 11:07 PM

Online dating became the most common way to find a partner. I think that says a lot. It's given every woman access to hundreds of guys she wouldn't have had before. This is why their standards have shot up dramatically in recent times. More will go online, hypergamy will only get worse, most guys will be single. That's my bet at least.

I think more women should realize that men are turning to trp because they have nothing else to turn to. Personally I think that trp is a bunch of crap, but I can see why people will try it because mainstream relationship advice isn't working for them. The main takeaway is that men don't necessarily want to be redpilled, they just turn to it because nothing else has solved their problems (and many of them will move on once they realize trp doesn't work for them either) Ideally women would stop b…

/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/21 01:44 AM

Women don't even interact with ugly guys. The women you listed don't get chads, but they date up 3-4 points. Whenever you post this stuff it's like you don't even realize that the bottom 20% exists.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/01/21 01:28 AM

What did ugly guys do to deserve being treated so bad? They didn't choose their genetics.

I've been lifting for years, have good skincare, haircare, dress fashionably, ect. All the normal looks advice. I have my own business, good education enjoyable hobbies. I approach women constantly irl (more before covid but I still do it when I can these days). Set up the best OLD profile I could, used a drone to take some pictures from a unique camera angle to try and stand out. Still never had a woman willing to get to know me 🤡
/r/PurplePillDebate01/01/21 08:55 PM

Ahh are you trying to bait me out to get banned here?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:28 PM

I suspect that there is more going on with that first woman. Guys can't see her personality before talking to her, and plenty of guys go after uglier women because they have lower standards. It seems like it's a common theme that these women only go out in public when they are in groups. I can see how this would push away guys who would approach her if she was alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:27 PM
1

Admittedly I was mostly coming from an American point of view. How does anybody date in Norway if people don't ask eachother out?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:22 PM
1

Yeah I didn't think of the headphones thing but that would make sense. I never approach women who have headphones on.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:20 PM
1

Do you think it has to do with being in a setting where people are more focused on their academics? And is she always with friends when you force her out, or is she alone sometimes? I feel like she would be less likely to be approached in a group, especially if she isn't the most attractive in that group.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:18 PM
10

I'd count that as being approached.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:15 PM
1

I have an imagination, all I'm saying is that I have asked out these types of women before. None of those traits would hold me back, and I know I'm not the only guy who feels this way. This is why I was asking about their jobs, hobbies, and interests. What specifically are this women doing that is keeping them away from guys who would approach them? Are they simply never leaving their house at all, or are they only in places where guys who approach never go?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:13 PM
0

I know those exist, but surely they leave their house sometimes? Like I said in the main post, unless they work and all their shopping online how could they possibly never go out? Do they avoid men?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:06 PM
1

Would you say it was mostly because you were surrounded by people who focused on their academics?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:04 PM
1

Those aren't people though, those are characteristics. Unless you're saying that not a single introverted woman has been asked out?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 06:03 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 05:58 PM
2

I ask the question and people (like you) gave examples of women who were antisocial but STILL GOT RELATIONSHIPS. You didn't answer the question, so of course I dismissed it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 05:57 PM
8

has not had one in a while either. So it sounds like despite all that she still has had relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 05:55 PM
5

How is that what you got from what I said? I want to learn, you just didn't teach anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 05:53 PM
2

None of that would stop me from approaching, and I know that there are plenty of other guys with the same mindset. From what I can see it's not that they don't have options, they just don't like the options they get.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 05:48 PM
3

Nah I'm genuinely curious about who these women are, mainly so I can try to find one. I just don't understand how they could possibly exist. I feel like the dating market is optimized to the point where it's unlikely that there options nobody has uncovered yet. Similar to the efficient markets theory I guess. And I think I'm already banned from /r/askwomen
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 05:40 PM
2

So you never went out at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 05:33 PM
0

It wasn't just people looking to fuck though
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/20 12:37 AM
21

Femcels literally made one of their main subs private because too many guys were asking them out.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/20 09:04 PM
2

You are missing the point. I agree that personality is needed, but it doesn't come into play if you aren't attractive enough. I actually think my personality is quite good, but let's assume for a second that you are right and my personality is terrible. Women would never know that my personality is bad, because they never interact with me. It's not like they can just look at me and see my personality. That's why it's impossible for personality to be what's holding me back, because it's not even …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/20 09:56 PM
1

How could the problem be mental if women refuse to interact with me? I would change this if I could, but I can't control other people.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/20 12:49 AM
1

Plenty of ugly guys want their equal. They just never get the opportunity
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/20 12:38 AM
1

Men tell femcels to enter relationships with their equal, not get pump n dumped by someone out of their league.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/20 09:11 PM
3

Incels know that there is an extremely small chance of making it out. It's similar to winning the lottery. Sure it can happen, but it's stupid to plan your life around something so improbable.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/20 08:54 PM
5

I'm not op but it's pretty easy to see that looks matter more. Without looks you won't get the opportunity to use game
/r/PurplePillDebate23/12/20 02:04 AM
3

I was hoping for more details. Since you're an incel I take it you aren't attractive, so how did you get a woman to like you when most were repulsed by you? My problem has always been trying to find a woman who is willing to get to know me, despite how I look.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/20 02:03 PM
4

How did you get a relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/20 12:48 AM
2

I wouldn't be engaged to someone who had previous partners :^ )
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 11:17 PM
6

No one hates unnatractive men Lmao what? Do you think people are insulting ugly guy's looks out of love?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 11:01 PM
6

The problem isn't the lack of sex, its the lack of relationships and poor treatment from women in general
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 07:56 PM
11

It shows how little personality matters, and that no amount of effort will give an average or below average guy the same success. How are we supposed to feel when women would rather be with a good looking pedophile than a good mannered average guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 04:23 PM
2

Obviously everyone knows that looks matter. We are upset that the bar is so high, and that they matter more than anything else. It's also upsetting to hear women say over and over that they care mostly about personality, but then refuse to get to know people who are unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/20 12:52 AM
11

Most incels can't even find women who are willing to talk to us, I don't think many of us are turning down opportunities like you gave
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/20 12:13 AM
-1

I can't be bothered to look at all of them, but at least the first few are above average. I think you just have high expectations.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/20 05:52 PM
3

Incels gatekeep against people who haven't tried looksmaxxing. So if you are fat you are a fakecel.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/20 01:32 PM
2

Well obviously. That's the age range where over half of guys are single. It's simple, afbb. That doesn't make the point any less valid. Women are more picky than men at all ages.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/20 11:22 PM
6

The government should subsidize plastic surgery for ugly guys cmv
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/20 01:23 AM
7

How is mra supposed to fight for equality without targeting those making us unequal?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/20 04:35 AM
11

Women don't get to know ugly guys, personality is never a factor until you have met the looks threshold.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 04:50 PM
6

Honestly a good post. At least with capitalism I can work hard to make enough money for women to be interested in me. Communism has no solution for this.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 03:04 PM
9

Yeah I am successful in every other part of my life, only relationships is lacking. I have a business, good education, I'm fit, enjoyable hobbies. It's going great other than being ugly and all the problems that comes with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/20 05:54 AM
1

North east usa
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 11:31 PM
8

Then why are you suggesting they meet up with incels if you know they don't like ugly guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 06:50 PM
5

Are they into the edgy ones that hate women? Or the ones that are too ugly to have relationships? Because there is a huge difference. I've seen the former, never the latter. If they are into ugly guys tho dm me the group ;^ ]
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 04:35 PM
11

They keep trying with him or move onto another good looking guy. That's why you see women all the time on dating subs complaining that guys never commit. They are going after the same few guys because the rest are invisible to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 04:29 PM
13

It's really common to see 5 girls sleeping with the same chad all trying to get him to commit though.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 02:32 PM
4

Women are only getting to know the personality of guys they are attracted to. If they cared more about personality than looks they would get to know guys regardless of how they look.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/20 02:27 PM
0

Maybe if he's average looking or above. Plenty of incels do these things but never find relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/20 01:31 PM
1

Nah I don't want to share it since this is my throwaway
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/20 04:49 AM
2

I have used tinder, bumble, hinge, and okcupid. I write a bio about me, what my hobbies are, interests, ect. My photos have good lighting and angles. I've done pretty much all the normal advice you see to improve dating profiles.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 07:04 PM
3

I mean everywhere. Online, bars, hobbies, ect. The overwhelming majority of snap judgements are visual
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 04:12 PM
3

Looks are the only thing that women could possibly be judging us on so fast. Like I said they don't get to know us.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 01:34 PM
2

I'm not going to post pictures of people I know irl
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 01:33 PM
3

Are you sure you character doesnt play a role in how much ass you dont get? I know that it doesn't matter because women aren't getting to know the character of ugly guys. Even though you dont want commitment, you do realise that having a committed long term relationship is one of the easiest ways to obtain regular sex. Most of us want a long term relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 05:02 AM
2

Less with covid, mostly since I'm not out as often, but I see it multiple times a day.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/20 04:59 AM
1

People are different. You chose someone with different goals than you.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/20 07:26 PM
1

If anything higher rent would make people more likely to start relationships. It's mainly the dating apps and social media. People used to be much poorer and still had families. The difference is that now women have extremely high expectations for looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/20 02:52 AM
6

Women are allowed to be ugly, men are not
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/20 07:34 PM
2

I'd say 2-3. A couple longer relationships before they get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/20 03:49 AM
2

No, they are lying because they choose whose personality they are going to get to know based off how the guy looks. If personality was their main concern they would get to know as many guys as possible.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/20 03:38 AM
10

Lmao how is an ugly guy supposed to get into porn? Not to mention most of us are looking for relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/20 10:38 PM
1

How can it be incel's personality when women aren't willing to get to know us?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/20 09:55 PM
1

There's not much help to give us other than plastic surgery
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/20 09:52 PM
1

Moving out makes no difference when you're ugly. Simply because women don't actually get to know us. It's not like people go around waving a sign that says "I still live at home!". You actually have to get to know people to find out about their living situation. Kinda hard for that to be incel's problem when women won't even talk to us.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/20 11:31 PM
8

Incels gatekeep against people who haven't tried. If you say to incels that you haven't tried they'll blast you until you leave.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/20 02:23 PM
15

Yeah it's always the same advice too. Just lift, get a haircut, be confident, ect. When you tell them that you've done that they get all confused. The truth is that unless you've been an ugly guy you don't really know what it's like. The only good advice I've seen is from the few ugly guys who made it out with plastic surgery.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/20 02:21 PM
9

The mental problems some incels have comes from being treated so bad. Not the other way around.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/20 11:27 AM
1

I mean small steps is great and all but the improvements you listed aren't enough to be successful with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/10/20 11:17 AM
11

I always knew my looks were a problem, I just didn't know how much of a problem they were.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/20 11:58 PM
1

No, fds is too focused on getting perfect guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/20 12:29 PM
3

I've never been in any sort of relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/20 02:44 AM
2

Yeah I guess. I don't really put numbers on people
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/20 01:18 AM
2

I don't really care about looks. I'd be willing to date someone as long as they are around my age and aren't addicted to drugs. But I'm ugly myself so that doesn't really matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/20 11:40 PM
3

Yes. And women have both.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/20 06:59 PM
2

There aren't any women that don't have options.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/20 08:45 PM
6

If you have realistic standards looks wise it should be very easy.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/20 04:09 AM
6

Personality wise sure. Probably not the best looking.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/20 02:55 AM
10

It would be really easy getting a relationship as a woman. All you have to do is have a strict vetting process. Combine this with me not going after the same handful of guys all other women are going after and I'd have no problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/20 04:49 PM
2

Yes I've done all three. Women aren't willing to get to know ugly guys
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/20 12:43 PM
1

yeah it was about making fun of incels.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/20 03:15 AM
3

There are no women who are willing to date me. Chances are you aren't that ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/20 07:48 PM
5

Nope, we have no options at all. Be grateful you're not ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/20 12:29 PM
2

I think it's going to happen a lot more with trans people being seen as more normal. It makes sense that disadvantaged guys want to have an easier life like they see women living. I'd never do it but I can see why some do.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/20 12:28 PM
1

My main problem is that I never get the chance to show my personality, just like the women your friend wasn't into. I have good traits, but without the opportunity to show them no women are going to know. And it's not that I'm being picky myself, my standards are very low in regards to looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/20 02:27 AM
1

What help would they give when they're clearly interested in things a guy cannot change?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/20 07:29 PM
1

If you’re confident in who you are, if you love your interests/hobbies, lower you “standards” a little, you shower regularly and don’t act like a dick, ladies will like you. I do all these things but no women like me
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/20 07:25 PM
1

What did you really do though? What advice
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/20 05:33 AM
2

How did you help them?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/20 12:22 AM
2

I've asked plenty of times how to get a relationship as an ugly guy, nobody had any working strategy
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/20 04:01 PM
5

Because I haven't found anything that works for ugly guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/20 01:19 PM
3

I never said anything about giving up, just that the strategies given by trp don't work if you are ugly.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/20 04:58 AM
7

Redpill doesn't work for ugly guys
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/20 04:44 AM
1

Maybe if you look good bone structure wise. I've been lifting for years and it didn't give any extra success with women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/10/20 11:25 PM
1

I am already very successful in other areas of life.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 01:51 PM
1

Yeah I used to try mostly in person before covid. Bars and clubs never worked for me. I've been off and on dating sites multiple times, but obviously you need to be really attractive for those to work. I've heard way too many bad things about getting a wife from poor countries. For the most part they are after money. And so many of them break up when you bring them into your country.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 01:50 PM
3

Personally when I love someone’s personality that person becomes more physically attractive to me anyways Yeah but my whole point is that no woman has ever actually gotten to know my personality.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 03:56 AM
1

I feel like I am funny, I have some good skills, and I do have more money than most people my age (but I don't want a relationship with someone who's using me for it). The problem is that women can see my looks immediately, but they can't see everything else I have to offer unless they get to know me. I have some friends who know women but none of them want anything to do with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 03:48 AM
2

Yeah I do all three and more to improve my looks. I have people make rude comments about how I look pretty often. Called ugly for the most part. Usually it's women, guys usually just ignore me. Not anybody I know personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 03:41 AM
1

Well on a good day I'm invisible to women, on a bad day I'll get made fun of for how I look. I have good traits outside of my looks, but I can't show those traits. I mainly need a strategy to find women who actually willing to talk to me and get to know me. But so far I haven't found one that works for guys who look as bad as me
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 12:54 AM
4

But I'm not even getting a chance. It's not that i'm on tilt, it's that I don't even get dealt cards.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/20 12:01 AM
3

I already have a purpose outside of dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/20 11:50 PM
5

I feel like I have a lot to give in a relationship but I'm too ugly for women to be willing to get to know me. I've done as much as I can to improve my looks but plastic surgery. What should I do to get a relationship? I don't care if it's red pill or blue pill, as long as it works.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/20 07:58 PM
2

Last Saturday
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/20 12:32 AM
1

Yes to all three
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 10:50 PM
2

I said that I'm not successful with women, not depressed
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 09:21 PM
2

How can you say that without knowing me?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 08:52 PM
3

Even by that definition I don't have success with women, despite being successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 06:16 PM
4

I'm already successful but I have no options.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/20 05:22 PM
4

Okcupid is basically a swipe app nowadays, like tinder and bumble. It places looks above everything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 08:37 PM
6

From personal experience mentally ill women don't have any lower standards for looks than normal women. If anything they think they are entitled to extremely attractive guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 08:35 PM
10

where should ugly guys try to find women with low standards / what can they do to find women with low standards?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/20 04:27 PM
2

I don't have data but I've definitely talked to lots of mixed race incels. Mostly white/asian.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/20 10:34 AM
3

I've always found it funny that the reason men develop "toxic masculine" traits is to get women. Feminists should try to change women if they want to fix men so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/20 10:27 PM
1

Yeah I felt pretty sure back then. During highschool I held on to a little bit of hope that things would be better in college but that didn't happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/20 11:01 PM
1

I don't have a specific moment, but just from being bullied for my looks ever since I was a child I knew it was over.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/20 06:56 PM
3

Most incels don't count people who haven't put the effort in as incels. There is a lot of gatekeeping towards people who haven't put in the work. But as most incels have found lifting usually isn't enough to make a guy attractive. If you start at average it might be able to get you relationships. But if you have problems with your face it's not going to be enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/20 06:51 PM
2

A family that I get to be part of*
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/20 12:42 AM
2

Can't start a family by myself. Of course I'd be happier in a relationship. That's like asking a homeless person if they would be happier living in a house than on the sidewalk.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/20 06:22 PM
1

Yeah some people have a bad personality, but it doesn't come into play until you actually get to know the person.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/20 11:48 PM
3

You don't get the opportunity to show your personality if you don't look good enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/20 03:37 PM
1

Well it's not a typo. I'm entj. Personality doesn't determine if you're an incel.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/20 02:45 PM
1

I'm an entj incel
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/20 08:37 AM
