That is all I am saying. I think most people understood you. But, yes, since Feminism heralds itself a champion for both sexes, and since MGM relates so closely to one of Feminisms big issues: FGM....

which is most obviously not nearly as bad as MGM. FGM and MGM are both equally "Bad". The individual experiences of FGM are horrid and often like something out of a horror novel, and while it can be widespread and usually done without surgical tools, the true size of the pool of MGM victims is jaw-dropping.

"what did you expect?" She probably expected the phrase that Feminist sell day-in and day-out about "being about equality" to, I don't know, have some merit? It's hard to realize that a movement you believe in, is mostly misguided.

"A War spokesperson said the prosecution of Brooker was "completely disproportionate", adding: "Time and again we see police resources diverted from rape and put into prosecuting women instead."" Wait, when does this happen? Prosecuting women? And, so, you admit she did it, and think that prosecuting someone who broke the law will stop other women who want to report false-rapes?

MRM isn't a religion to tell men how to be. It's a loose association of people who push on certain issues that affect men.

"before that he was taken from a street gang who had been training him to be a fighting dog."" Yeah, oh, that dad! Such a card, taking in a dog that was used as a weapon, and had killed a cat before. Your Father sounds like a risk-averse dipshit. Sure, it "worked out", but you didn't get any training in rehabbing an abused dog, your Dad just let him loose on his family. To me, and my vet friends, that's foolish and dangerous. It's akin to all those emails saying "Well, we dint wear no seatbelts,…

Underaged is a word. "Child" is the word you are using for a 15-16 year old. Statutory rape is about inability to consent, not necessarily about age. Do you even understand what meaningless drivel you are spouting, desperate to assign blame to the commenter?

Wait, a judge said to pay 45.000 a year for a kid? 45.000/12 is 3,750 a month...That seems a bit high. How much of his paycheck is that? Does he have any left to live on? Does he get to see the kids? I can certainly imagine how someone would throw up their hands and not pay.

Ok, read AGAIN what I said before you go off and get your nipples aflutter. The WORD Feminism has no descriptive function anymore. THE WORD. Since it encompasses many different groups with different aims, other descriptor words should accompany it, if necessary. Nothing offensive was in this argument, except your useless premature ridiculousness.

Which is why I say that Feminism, the word, means exactly zero. Just like any movement you would expect of to be run by women. It's like herding cats. So, you didn't get to this part, right?

I, for one, will not stand by and allow feminist apologists like yourself to continue falsely associating feminism with equality or any other ideal other than the subjugation of men. Oh, LORD. We've got a live one over here. All hail, Badass. Just like any "movement" (bowel movements too), there are some good, some bad, and some extreme members. Blame is such an overused word. Do you really think these women at the top raped boys? I mean, the power structure could be blamed as well. Blame is overused. Perhaps there are groups that enable an environment that contributes to...et cetera. But it's not the same as direct blame. The only one that directly causes rape are the rapists.

That there is an active conspiracy amongst anyone who calls themself a feminist. It's really between the movers and shakers who know the truth: that they are only seeking power. I think there is a top-tier amongst groups like NOW, etc. that really do know the truth that they are seeking female power, not equality. Too many smart women at the top to not know this. That is the real conspiracy, not the 99% of the rest.

Oy, this is some seriously misleading talk. "Feminists" are not evil. Most of the change comes from a few feminist orgs that follow the rule of all orgs across the world: once they get power, they do not relinquish it. So, what do they do? Push for more power... The rest of the "Feminists" seem to be either: 1.) Using the term and not really understanding how it's a bad term and they really are about equality. Unfortunately, these are not a very vocal group. 2.) Middle-of-the road who want more …

Society should fear MRA crazy. Women don't act out aggressively. Angry men do. Which group would you rather appease? This is what the marginalization can lead do. It's a dangerous mixture to take away men's rights, jail them, take away their children and then try to label them as evil. That is just a mixture filled with gas.
/r/MensRights14/09/11 06:59 PM

"actually US holds higher standard against protecting child from predators." Remind me, what does the word "predator" mean, in this case? ANY sex with someone under 18? Seems like a loaded word.

/r/MensRights14/09/11 06:15 PM

Ok, that's great, but really does nothing to move anything forward. Talking to others to inspire change is good. Commiseration is not that. If you accept the difference, then you have to make a choice as to which one you want to be a part of.

This subreddit seems to be mostly for moaning and groaning, not planning for action. One does something, the other is for lazy people who just want to commiserate.

No, they have shock power...The REAL power comes from society's going along with it. Shadow the femnazis ways, instead of bitching about how we're losing. Win, muthafucker! Get in the fight.

It is NOT just women's fault, for Christ's sake. It is the fault of everyone who goes along with it. Tons of men as well. Accept that and it makes the job easier, since you can start with anyone and reeducate them.

Yes, and men's rights people have done crazy shit as well. Can't paint the whole group with one brush. Blaming feminists, like I said, just doesn't do much. DO something about it.
/r/MensRights12/09/11 04:34 PM
-1

Agreed that feminists have demonized father-daughter relationships, but not most, or all. It's good to have perspective. Focusing on blaming feminism is missing the point...the media and politicians are the ones that change laws and influence behavior.
/r/MensRights12/09/11 04:33 PM

Can we not blame feminists for raping boys here? The comments always devolve into a conspiracy theory.
/r/MensRights12/09/11 04:05 PM

First of all, you lost this argument, since you just proved my point. "Deal with it" - ridiculous.
/r/MensRights15/01/11 02:28 AM

Then go complain about it in Guatemela? No, you'd rather bitch and moan about how women have it so tough: posting on the internet, on your computer, sitting at your desk, dressed in nice clothes, well-fed, with lots of money to spend on whatever you want...compared to a woman in a third-world country who gets beaten if she's seen outside the house without a man. Oh yeah, we should focus all our attention on "Western Society".
/r/MensRights14/01/11 08:43 PM
1

So? Perhaps they don't want to be Gov?
/r/MensRights14/01/11 08:39 PM
2

You do know that men and women are not the same, right? Most of the "inequality" you link to is based on the statistically-significant CHOICES the genders make. Portrayal in the media: sure, this one could be as easy as looking at all of the shows that portray men as dumb husbands and the wives as smart go-getters who take care of the household. Where is your feminism then?
/r/MensRights14/01/11 08:37 PM
3

You are seriously engaging in this argument. First of all: "genders"? Two exist. And a fireman has to be able to carry out people from a fire. Do you want a woman who passed because of lowered strength and endurance standards to be the one they send in to rescue your daughter or do you want to know that the strapping guy next to her passed all his requirements without lowered standards? I seriously am wondering if you're a troll on this one. It's so ridiculous.

Hmmmmm, that just limits you so go for it. You came here to express yourself and engage in debate. If you want to take a knee and be a pussy, go for it. I typically view this as a big reason why wimpy people don't make it: they don't have the guts to push forward but look for reasons to get offended and wimp out. You just don't have any fighting spirit I guess. Not my problem.
/r/MensRights14/01/11 04:13 PM
-1

The fact that you can't handle that means a lot to how wimpy you are, honestly. If you had not mentioned it, and schooled me, then you would get cred. This is how guys argue, and the fact that you think girly rules follow you in MRA doesn't speak very highly for you, honestly. We burp and fart and curse in here. Don't like it? GTFO.
/r/MensRights14/01/11 04:07 PM
5

So, why don't you just STFU and go read up on the topic instead of looking a fool?
/r/MensRights14/01/11 04:06 PM
4

"Deserve" has lots of icky connotations. How about "if I can do the job, I should have a shot at it"? Deserve ends up with little women trying to carry lighter firehoses to make the female quota in firehouses, or less-than-stellar CEOs going in place because the board of directors is being forced to have a ratio of female CEOs in place. Oh, hello Sweden.
/r/MensRights14/01/11 04:05 PM

/r/MensRights14/01/11 04:02 PM

Pressure women into feeling bad about being homemakers or choose a career over kids, etc. Feminists have been doing this for years, fucking with women and how they feel about making their own choices. You, in effect, "force" them into roles they don't want.
/r/MensRights14/01/11 04:02 PM

I buy those stats. Have you ever even looked into rape in prison? If not, then you don't have a leg to stand on.

Go read VAWA, and then get back to me.
/r/MensRights14/01/11 03:56 PM

Then why aren't you writing letters to the court systems, asking for more balanced treatment of men and women in custody battles? If you were an "equalist" like you say, this would be a concern.

How many of these idiotic posts are we going to get? The "feminism really means" at the core. FEMINISM MEANS DIFFERENT THINGS TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Stop. End of thought. One chunk of them are using it to power-grab. This is a fact and not up for debate. Does this affect the other groups? Of course. If you serve up chicken parm and 2 groups of people use pork, then it'll affect if people really know what chicken parm is.

I was just giving an example that fits the info we were given. It could have also been a twin bed, with the daughter sleeping between them, the bf nude. Seems like a valid concern.

I bet you will hear near-100% "I don't hate women, I hate feminism/its ideas" etc....

You keep fighting the good fight, pal. I'm sure you go about, shouting at every injustice you see in the pool room. Good luck with that. I think your Mom said dinner was ready upstairs.

Well, if you have no empathy for some groups, then I guess your opinion just isn't that important to me.

Nope, I just knew the guy who stocked them. His dad-in-law owned the company. I guess that counts.

I guess if you're not willing to put in the time to secure yourself from disease, then don't enter the water... My buddy used to do the vending machines and he told me the numbers for mensrooms were the lowest for all the machines. This is a fact.

Just throwing words you may not understand or be able to link justifiably into the semblance or an argument does not a debate make.

You'd be surprised. The Jewish bloodlines have some mighty fine gems in them thar hills. Give me a schnoz and some crazy hair anyday. Italians and Jews are my favorite ladies. And don't even start me on some Muslim chicks. Oh mama! Those eyes...of course, that's all I can say about that.

Please realize that the rest of the world does not have the same verbal/written shortcuts that you do..."Oz" to most Americans and many Asians, probably has to do with a wizard and a witch and Dorothy.

Oh, those amusing posts about men losing their kids to courts, being raped in prison, being jailed more and unfairly....OH SO FUNNY.

Oh COME ON...this is SO "poor me". Go to ANY fucking pharmacy or store and there are condoms. Men should carry them anyway, and THAT is why they are not in bathrooms, as men don't fucking buy them in bathrooms, women DO. It's a money thing.

On the other hand, yes, this situation sucks. A whole two nights you can't swim is lame. The OP posts about a small chunk of time, which I find reasonable.

It is guys like you who give MRAs a bad name. You can't just be the bigger person, right? You have to take some women who maybe aren't as tough as you: maybe rape victims, maybe women who hate their bodies, maybe women who are religiously oppressed, and try to take away some little bit of satisfaction they get that you could get ALL the other time that the pool is open. You're the worst kind of person. You have no empathy.

Oh, for fuck's sake, maybe some women want to not get ogled for two fucking hours in their day. Maybe some orthodox women want to not break their religious vows and have a tiny bit of the freedom that you have. Grow up and stop overreacting to every little thing.

A few reasons to take a man's last name: 1.) Your name sucks and his sucks less. 2.) You hate your family and want distance 3.) Follow tradition 4.) Make it easier for future genealogists

Hang on a second...they are soldiers, not men, first. They fight for us, and get paid for that. They signed up for it. So, whether we are fighting and protecting our oil or the women there, it's within our boundaries. I think this is a ridiculous position to take without looking at the larger role of the US (and allies) as a peacekeeping force, or just a country who is not going to involve itself.

This is the best thing that little guy could ever have happen to him. Double standard exists for a reason. More like Europe...laissez-faire. They are just boobs. We have miniature versions of them.

This reddit article title is just combative...like "Feminism" is a bad thing because women and men do equal housework. How about "Endless chastisement by Second-Wave Feminists Overturned"?
