I am very impressed by this and feel this is what TRP should strive for! Love the positive vibe!

I appreciate your perspective. Something I have actually done in two very different industries is help take a company from an operations to a sales focus which included taking a more active role in the chamber of commerce, networking groups, along with other forms of marketing.

Interesting point and this is something I will keep in mind.

After thinking about this I see that it's not that important. Rejecting was the wrong way to think about it. What makes me nervous is potential issues at work with her reading into things and having heat come down on me. I really appreciate everyone's input and it's made me reflect.

Thank you for the advice. Perhaps rejection is the wrong word. I will implement your suggestion.

I don't care about rejection. I embrace it. In case you missed the point here it is: "I want to reject this girl as I am worried she keeps misreading my signals it will start to effect my job."

Good tip. I saw some stuff on Dale Carnegie in trp so I am going to look into that.

Thanks. You are absolutely right. Funnily enough, I did decide that I am going to send Christmas cards this year to family, past mentors, and friends. Hopefully that will help.

My sister thinks I have it all because I am the youngest and a boy. She got married to a guy when she 23. He owned a house, bought her a car for xmas when they got engaged, she got pregnant had a kid and doesn't work at all. I on the other hand lived in poverty from 18-24. Slash once was asked why Axl went crazy. He said "He didn't work for it." I feel like this is applicable.

To repair the relationship without giving into her childish behavior. If no one sent me a bday card or called to wish me a happy anniversary I really wouldn't care. I have achievements in my life other than getting a SO or being born.

She is smart but she doesn't know how to take initiative yet. She also loves to hold a grudge. I started a company recently and she has been helping me with it and I have been paying her. But she lacks a worth ethic. "It's the holidays I can't help." etc. She wants to start her own business but I am not sure she is capable. Her working for me is a great opp...but I think she is a little embarrassed by it.

It's not full scale Oneitis but it's definitely ego. It's getting the best of me.

She's fun and very enjoyable to spend time but I hate feeling like its a power struggle. It got flipped.

Also, she will still talk and respond but she takes her time and I'm getting the cold shoulder.

You are probably right. But for the sake of amusement, how can I go back?

How do I show her that I am losing interest?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
