Wasn't going to bother arguing in the original post on the other sub but I think they get paid well over minimum for where they work. Or they could just fire them all, bring production here to the states so they can pay $50 per shirt. All the maker spaces near me are priced too high...probably because they put them in the expensive ass hipster neighborhoods. Use of the work area is somewhat affordable with access to regular tools which I don't need...then 160+ for very limited use of the good stuff like lathes and mills. Like 3 times a month or something.

It's weird but there are a ton of guys like this out there. Just keep them separate from that part of your life if you don't want to drop them. My history has been plagued by friends that are at best horrible wingmen or at worst get all sullen because you got game and they don't. Can't change them. Also can't force anyone to take the pill. I used to be a driver for cargo pilots. Drive them to and from the hotel. It's fucking weird but when you've invested the time, money, and energy into a relationship with someone you love you do stupid shit. You NEED proof. I was in a similar situation and while the emotions he expresses seem pretty spot on I find it hard how he remained calm.
