They would encourage guys to try and be more sensitive, call us beautiful, refer to all nurses as "she" and all drs as "he". Just gotta stick up for yourself and not cater to their shit. One guy in my class had his attorney buddy sit down with us and the administration and outline why it was offensive. Murse here, the instructors in my class tried to deball us guys but we complained to administration and got it handled. With more males going into nursing I hope they reevaluate their curriculum.

As a murse I applaud this. Quite a lot of males in my department but overall we make up less than 7%. It's a great profession and it pays well. Fyi every male from my program had a job before graduation while quite a few of the women had hard times.
