As a guy who wasn’t really into sports growing up, highly recommend this. Easy to get sucked into and regular fights always give you something to do if you’re empty handed.

It is quite hard and that’s the point. You don’t just get access to the top because you think you deserve it or want it. By helping others, I mean providing some form of value to them that someone else can’t or can’t as well as you can. For example: the best chef in the area (take notes on Gordon Ramsay and his ascent—the boiling point docs on him are a good example).

Find a way to create more value. Specifically in economic terms but physical/appearance, too. The more you can do to help others in a verifiable trust-worthy way, the more you will exude status naturally. As someone just starting to get this, I can tell you that the mindset part is key. Put your thoughts in the direction you want to go (and of course, be patient).

without a masculine presence or mentor Struggled with this big time the last few years. The way out is to put yourself around men who symbolize what you’re after. They may fuck with you at first to test you, but trust that once they realize you’re serious, they’ll take you under their wing. Don’t hesitate on this. Push past the mental pain, slit your ego’s throat, and go spend time with good men who can teach you. Know the difference between a man who’s grounded and a muppet who’s just showing o…

Something that’s helped: earning “it.” Whatever your vice, you limit it to being a reward for pushing a long term goal forward (e.g., watching a bit of tv on the weekend because you did extra hours on your business). This creates a positive feedback loop that keeps you moving without freaking out.

Yup. Went out with this girl and her friend (5, 6 on a good day) and she showed me her OKC flooded with 2,000+ messages. They sat there and just fucking giggled flipping through profiles—made it real as fuck what’s on the other side.

Start by learning to employ yourself first. Employees are expensive (salary, equipment, healthcare, etc). Contractors are a good place to start hiring but can be flaky. Don’t expect quality for a low price and vice versa. Get real fucking patient.

This is correct. It’s a balance. You have to go heads down sometimes and just invest in yourself. I’ve done that mostly for two years now and the confidence it’s created has produced far more women in my life recently (was super fat, dorky, etc and have slimmed down significantly and developed a bit of swagger). There’s something to be said for having the patience and discipline to sideline yourself while you get your shit together. Yes, game if/when you want and always be practicing in differen…

Learn to recognize when you’re being emotional (not a specific emotion) and try to understand why. Find the impetus and really think “why did X get that emotion to come out of me?” I’ve found that when I get worked up about a woman, getting in my car, driving, and talking myself off the ledge helps. Over time you start to see what causes specific emotions and prepare for them (e.g., if she does or says X, it’s likely I’ll react with Y emotion). The more aware you are, the more potential for cont…

Sure. The way it worked was that we followed a pretty straightforward schedule: Wake up at 4am (retreat wide gong or your own alarm). Do a 1-2 hour meditation session in your room or in the meditation hall. 15 minutes break Group meditation in the hall for 1 hour Lunch (only for newbies, repeats skip lunch) Group or solo meditation in the hall Break Group meditation in the hall Dinner Evening meditation for 1 hour Lights out And exactly, it’s not so much about suffering for suffering’s sake but …

For those new to meditation, I highly recommend a vipassana retreat. Perfect way to go all in and get proper guidance on how to do it. Week and a half of forced silence with days totally focused on meditation. Rough at first but a real life changer if you take full advantage.

Check out the book The Science of Getting Rich. Sounds like bs but has really helped me to move away from this sort of thinking (world being fucked up). I’m finding you can get a hell of a lot further personally and with others by acknowledging that there’s a problem, but, making an effort to correct it. In our case, that’d be avoiding nihilism in favor of focusing on ourselves and being outspoken about the long-term damage that’s being done to society. Internally we can do that through memes/jo…

My response “I’d love to commit and raise a family but women are too childish, irresponsible, and disloyal these days to make it worth my time.”

Don’t hate the world. Just call people out who act like this and correct their behavior. That’s the only way this crap stops.
