I’d say stick to your nature. If you’re a confident guy, be that person. If a girls turned off by it, there will be 5 others who aren’t. Also to me it sounds like it’s just the mindset you want to have- that the girls lucky to be talking to you. You don’t actually need to make her think that. The general air of confidence is what you’re trying to make her see

Id have to disagree- most times you don’t end up smashing the girl immediately after you introduce yourself....so a phone number is a pretty important step to continuing the relationship, no? Because that’s how you’ll be able to get more in-person encounters. Unless both of you are telepathic I suppose And if that’s how you roll, great, more power to you. But it isn’t the way I (and OP I’m assuming) enjoy meeting new women.

You can’t force someone to text you. People have their own lives, let them live with bothering them, which is all this is going to do.
