No. Everyone does not fail. Some people have an easier time, and women have an easier time, in aggregate, than men do. Being rejected isn't the issue, it's the stigma behind it that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 05:57 PM

You have to be intentionally misunderstanding my argument if this is what you think it is. I'm not saying you can't reject any man or leave a conversation with one. What I'm saying is you can't put every man who approaches you in the box of "pervert", "creep", "asshole" or whatever. If you genuinely don't like him you're under no obligation to continue to talk to him. But if you genuinely believe your safety is at risk every time a man talks to you, that's bad and you should be ashamed for think…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 05:55 PM

I'm not saying you should pretend those things didn't happen, but you shouldn't treat men that haven't done those things, as if they have.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 05:07 PM

This isn't just being wary. That's the problem. If your response when going into perfectly normal interactions is to immediately think "this guy could be the exact same as the awful extreme outlier situation I experienced" you're clearly dehumanizing people, and that's not okay. I've had bad experiences with women before. Do you think it's okay for me to treat every woman I meet like the one that harmed me? Not only is that not practical, it's not fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 05:06 PM

There is literally no difference between using this argument for gender and using it for race. If you do one you have to at least be okay with using it for the other if you're not a hypocrite.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 05:02 PM

She isn’t punishing you by not wanting to give you her time or attention That's not the punishment I'm referring to. Being treated like a criminal/horrible person when you're not is the punishment. Just find any female creator on TikTok that pushes sexist talking points like this. It's not out of self preservation. That's just a fake reason to hide behind. It's because they want to keep benefiting from in-group bias.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 04:09 PM

I think men don’t like feeling generalized Not only this, but it's a double standard. As men are vilified for being misogynists any time they even suggest a non-individual subset of women even has a minor problem. Not only that but it's being generalized in such a dehumanizing way. It's awful how much men get lectured on how they need to talk to women, but women carry no social shame for misandry and treating every man like a potential subhuman criminal. The dude at the train station was one per…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 03:50 PM

Also, to conclude, I’m not sure why a woman reacting negatively to being approached be viewed as the end of the world. Because, most rejections are treated as moral failings by the man. It wasn't just that you weren't attractive, or she just didn't want to talk to you. Women want to make you feel sorry and horrible for even trying. This is the disconnect. To create connections in the real world, you have to meet people. But women still want the benefits of not having to put in any effort to make…

I was responding to your response which contained nothing to do with sex work. If you want to accuse someone of changing the subject, look in the mirror.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 02:28 AM
-2

There’s no hypocrisy with my position. All I ask is that feminism be based on actual principle instead of being based on getting smug rhetorical wins over men, and normalizing misandry. You might say “that’s not real feminism” and my response to that is, you can’t just brush aside the obvious problems as “not real”. They’re very real whether they make you, or people you sympathize with look bad
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 02:18 AM
-1

The only reason and I do mean THE ONLY reason feminism is divided on this issue is so they can vilify men no matter what position they hold. If a man supports freedom to do sex work it’s because he’s a creep and a pervert that just wants to use sex workers If a man doesn’t support freedom to do sex work it’s because he wants to control women No matter which position you take as a man on this issue it’s the “wrong” one because in group vs out group matters more than principles and values.

This wasn’t coming from a place of wanting to objectify women, this was coming from a place of jealousy that women get to complain about people not appreciating the correct thing about them. I just want to be liked or appreciated for fucking anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/26 04:11 AM
-1

When you're not appreciated or liked for anything, then you're not in much of a position to be picky about what people like about you.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 03:23 PM

Being able to complain about being objectified is a very privileged position.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/26 02:56 PM

Almost unironically yes
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 12:43 PM
2

Yeah I think the majority of women don’t like men, and I think this problem will persist until there is more social stigma (instead of encouragement) around misandry
/r/PurplePillDebate22/04/26 01:34 AM

Women don’t actually like men. All I ever hear from them is how terrible we are.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 10:40 PM
10

The reason why is actually quite simple: being married and having children involves spending your life with a man, and since women don’t like men, of course men are going to care more
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 06:06 PM
5

Decentering men is much easier for women because women already don't like men anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 03:15 PM

Most women don't want to be loved by a man. Don't you hear? We're all terrible and worse than actual animals

/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 01:14 PM

What is an example of criticizing a common behavior in women that is considered socially acceptable the way many general criticisms of men are?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 12:41 PM

To be fair, most of the women who carry the label have similar traits
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/26 05:02 PM

Being able to complain about the options you have is a privileged position compared to someone with no options whatsoever.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 02:11 PM

I don't believe women want relationships to start organically through friendship. The "friend zone" wouldn't constantly be complained about if that were true.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 02:09 PM
1

I'm blue pill and I trust people's judgment so little, I actually believe the opposite. I believe that the easier it is for a man to find a sexual/relationship partner, the more likely it is he's a terrible human being. Maybe it's because of my brother, and I'll admit that, but this is something I really do believe.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 02:07 PM

Objectification is appreciation for one aspect of a person, and one aspect only no?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 06:14 PM
2

I think red pill takes for granted a lot of inaccurate things about the world, that could only be true in the mind of a person that doesn’t interact in the real world.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 05:57 PM
-2

No thanks, I have a brain. Therefore I reject redpill ideals.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 03:32 PM
9

Being objectified would actually be an improvement compared to how I'm normally viewed. It means I'm appreciated for at least SOMETHING. It's quite a privileged position to be in, to be able to complain that you're being appreciated, just not for the right thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 02:48 PM

Oh, shut the fuck up with this caste system bullshit. If you’re concerned about actually solving tangible problems in the real world, this will not do that. Hating people for immutable characteristics is bad, and no amount of historical oppression will change that, or justify you being a dick to people based on it. Because that’s what you really want. You don’t care about solving real problems, you just want a justification for being a bitter, sexist person.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 06:03 PM

Hatred is bad no matter who’s doing it. Just because people in power do worse things with it, that doesn’t mean it’s okay to have hatred of someone for something they can’t control about themselves. If someone looked at P Diddy or OJ Simpson and said “typical black behavior” they would correctly be called out, but this is no different from the argument you’re making
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 05:36 PM

The most self avowed feminists tend to be open that they hate men, and then other feminists will defend by saying “they’re not real feminists” or “they don’t represent the mainstream” keeping in mind that they will never actually disavow these people or condemn these beliefs. It’s always about protecting the image of feminism, never about perpetuating less hatred in the world.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/26 05:35 PM

I think most feminists hate men and agree with the second part that some men hate women. My reply was to the first part of the statement, should’ve made that more clear.

"finding a partner as a shitty man is infinitely harder" That's the biggest lie I've ever seen. My brother is a giant piece of shit that was too dumb to graduate high school, throws slurs around like they're nothing, and treats women terribly, and he's never had an issue finding a new girlfriend when he gets tired of the previous one he had. He has the easiest time in the world finding partners, and I often wonder if it's *because* he's a piece of shit.

Even as an asexual male, I would do anything to experience what women experience as “objectification” because at least then someone admires SOMETHING about me
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/25 12:06 PM

I would go a different direction and say that a man being a bad person is correlated with having more success with women
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/25 11:48 PM

I don’t know what the dark triad is, what I do know is that the rule isn’t “nice guys finish last” it’s “stupid guys finish first”. Smart overly analytical types tend to over analyze social situations because how to succeed isn’t innately known to a lot of them. For most stupid guys, most stupid people it is. Bad women like stupid guys because they’re easy to manipulate and good women like stupid guys because they have charm and charisma that overly analytical guys don’t have. You almost have to…

It was an analogy where money = dating success. I wasn't talking about actual money.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/09/25 11:47 PM

In some cases we create gaps in the other direction but you’ll never get the types that support those programs to admit that
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 04:45 PM

If you’re fat you can change that. If you’re born with a condition that impairs your ability to parse social situations (an ability that is basically required for women to give you the time of day), you’re stuck with that basically forever.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 10:46 PM

It is a horrible position to be in that is highly self inflicted. Just don’t be a sexist prick or toe the line of tolerating them and then you’re not in a horrible position.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 08:43 PM

Those women are spineless then
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 08:41 PM

Misandrist women are not a “loud minority” at this point. They are basically the default type of woman, especially in the younger generation
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/25 07:58 PM

But are they more likely to know how to spell it?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/25 12:34 PM
6

I think you're right, but not for the right reasons. All I ever hear from women, especially in my generation, is how terrible we are, and how much we should be lucky to even exist on the same planet as women. Even from supposedly "heterosexual" women, they often view it as a curse.

I know women are attracted to misogynists because my piece of shit brother used to get a new girlfriend practically every month with no effort. And he himself admits he was just using them for their bodies. Then he'd dump them and move on to the next. He's changed since then but it disheartens me to see how easy it was for this nearly unredeemable person to find a partner like it was nothing. As for why a lot of men here struggle, my guess is that they're not actual misogynists, or their misogyn…

The reason it's treated as a competition is because "women have it worse" is essentially treated as an objective self-evident fact in modern western society, and also treated as men's fault even if they haven't done anything wrong.

If this is how we're defining decent woman, then very few exist
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 04:13 PM
14

And I think women vastly overestimate the degree to which their initial view of approachers is correct
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 01:15 PM
12

Just because they offered some advice doesn't mean it was advice that worked. No one has advice that works. People are too focused on giving advice to help people get over fear of rejection instead of advice that makes them not get rejected.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 01:11 PM
10

you're a decent person and you approach a decent person, then there will be no issue, even if she isn't interested. Ah yes because women are perfectly rational and just, and no woman has ever told a guy he was a creep or jerk when he wasn't one No decent man has been belittled or made fun of, or been made to seem like a creep by a woman for approaching politely, ever

/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 03:26 PM

I haven't said that TO anyone in real life though, or anything like it. Most of the things I say on here are said ONLY on here.

These women aren't just on the internet. They're everywhere in life.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 11:41 PM
1

The fact that you "likely don't have interest" in a man means you don't like men. And even if a woman is interested, they almost never approach men to try to meet them, (especially with a relationship in mind). If women truly liked men, they'd approach more.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 11:36 PM
6

The reasoning I use isn't my own personal life, though that can be used as evidence of my statement's effects. The reason I say women aren't attracted to men is because of how much I hear that women don't want to be bothered or talked to by men, and how many of them think we're bad people by default.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 11:23 PM
4

Because I disagree with red pills on pretty much everything. People have this misconception that to be a blue pill you have to be deferential to women on pretty much every issue, but that isn't true. All I hear from women is how terrible men are, so they must not be attracted to us. That's not something a red pill would agree with. Red pill people would say that women are attracted to strong, dominant men that do nothing but go to the gym and make money. I'm saying that they're not attracted to …
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 11:08 PM
2

I think we need to be honest about it as blue pills. Maybe it is more of a black pill thing to say, but I don't fully buy into red or black pill (which are different things anyway). A red pill person would say that women are attracted to men if you do certain things. They're just wrong about what those things are.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:46 PM
5

That's my point, though. If you're too aggressive at first you scare her off and if you're not aggressive enough she'll only think of you as a friend. It is an impossible balance.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:32 PM
5

Yes because I disagree with them on just about everything. Redpill people would say that being a piece of shit is what women want, and what you should strive for. But I know that's not the case because I have to spend so much of my dating effort proving I'm not, in the beginning stages.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:27 PM
3

This isn't about sex, at least not entirely. I don't even want sex. I want a relationship where I love and care about the other person, and vice versa. That can't happen because I either look repulsive (which I know isn't true), or the act of even trying to talk to or approach a woman is repulsive.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:18 PM
4

All I ever hear from women is how terrible we are. And based on the way I've been treated by them it seems I'm either very unattractive or just not worth their time.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:17 PM
3

No, the real reason is that women just don't like men and would happily live lives of solitude if it meant never seeing one again.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:15 PM
7

I’m a woman who is very much so attracted to men You are very rare then
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:13 PM
2

To women, the former and latter appear the exact same, and will end in the exact same result (not wanting a relationship with you)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:09 PM
4

Then why is so much of beginning a relationship trying to convince her that you're not a criminal or a giant piece of shit? Even women that say they like you have to be convinced in some way.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:09 PM
2

I don't think that fully explains it. The reason that going in with intentions doesn't work is that it's too heavy handed and aggressive. But then if you go in not caring about the result and aren't aggressive then she thinks you're not interested in her. There is no way to win. Yes everyone gets rejected, but the point is that you eventually want to not be rejected at some point.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 10:02 PM
13

All I ever hear from women is "LEAVE US ALONE" or "SHE'S NOT INTO UGH WHY DO MEN THINK EVERYTHING IS ABOUT THEM" And approach advice for men is 99% about dealing with the inevitable rejection instead of being more appealing so rejection is less likely. Given the amount of times I've been rejected and ghosted this seems to be true. Women just don't like men, and most of the effort in getting a relationship started is convincing her you're not a criminal or piece of shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 09:59 PM
1

chances are at least ONE of them will eventually fancy you Wrong again. Women don't like men, and aren't attracted to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/25 09:50 PM

I think there's a difference between talking to women and naturally having it happen and obsessively focusing all your attention on one woman in hopes that she'll eventually agree to date you There is a difference, but women see both of those the same way, so as far as results go there isn't a difference. Also, as a man, you shouldn't wait so long to make your romantic feelings known Yeah because approaching women while making romantic intentions known has a track record of working /s Just face …

There are four times as many men with autism as there are women with autism. So autism is often an issue which requires a neurotypical woman to have empathy for a man. In other words, hell will freeze over before that shit happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 05:45 PM

this is a very autistic approach. LOL at the ableism. So apparently approaching things the only way I can the way my brain works is a bad thing now? Are we just supposed to die alone because we lack the mindreading other people innately have in social situations? Fuck all the way off.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/25 05:43 PM

It's easier to move on when you know someone will like you eventually. For the vast majority of men, that isn't guaranteed even if you do everything you're "supposed to do"
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 09:14 PM

Nothing that is worth having comes without rejection. Yeah no this is cope. Women don't have to learn to deal with rejection. Even the crazy and not-good-looking ones have a way easier time finding a partner than the best looking and most emotionally mature men. Instead, as a man there is just no way for you to win, even if you do everything the "right" way
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 08:30 PM

But I would not define that as success. To me success is not getting rejected, it's not getting better at dealing with rejected or becoming numb to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 07:51 PM

I agree that we have a lot to offer, but women don't see things that way, so it's very difficult to even get the chance to prove anything
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 07:25 PM

I HAVE made efforts to improve myself. You don't know me, so you don't know what I've done. Going to the gym and getting hobbies won't help you if you have bad social skills, and if you keep trying to ask women out, failing will only reinforce those bad social skills, not make them better. Getting rejected only makes you numb to rejection, it doesn't make future rejection less likely.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 06:47 PM

It can't be both. I'm arguing successful men get rejected less and OP is arguing successful men get rejected more. Both statements can't be true.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 06:43 PM

Making a fool out of yourself and being ridiculed by women doesn't make you better at dating. Dating is just impossible nowadays because men aren't worth anything to women and get little chance to prove they are worth anything
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 06:33 PM

Actually no, the difference between men who struggle and men who are successful at dating are that the successful ones get rejected less or not at all

expected her to throw herself at you? lol where did I say that? If she just didn't say anything rather than block me, that suggests that she just wasn't interested more than blocking me does. Blocking me suggests I did something bad or wrong. Saying nothing was the only expectation I had. And about meeting someone else. I've met plenty of people in my pursuit of dating me. They all ghost me, except for two of them that told me they didn't feel a connection (which I seriously respect), and then i…
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 01:46 AM

The problem with moving on is that, if I do, I fear I will make the same mistake, and I don't know what mistake I even made. There's no way I keep having luck this bad for no reason. It has to be because there's something wrong with me or my behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 01:23 AM

1 out of 2 ain't bad
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 01:00 AM

I'm going to wish-think this is true, because the alternative is that I keep fucking up in some way that I don't know and I have to aimlessly figure out what to change about myself
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 12:54 AM

Well duh, I know that. But you usually block people for wronging you in some way no? This is very important to understand because if I need to change my behavior, I want to. It can't be that my attempts at putting myself out there keep resulting in hostility and it's NOT my fault somehow.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/25 12:52 AM

I'll share a story from a comment I posted on here a few days ago. I had a class with this girl last fall and sort of developed a crush, but about halfway through the semester I got back with my ex so I never asked her out. My ex and I broke up a few months ago (probably predictable, but not the point), and a few weeks ago she came up on hinge. I sent a like and a message with the like saying I thought she was cool. She then popped up on my tiktok for you page, and so I sent a comment saying tha…

That won't magically fix things for me. I do acknowledge posting on here won't either, but I need an outlet to talk about these things or else I just keep my feelings inside myself, which isn't good to do. I'll probably be lonely forever no matter what I do, so I might as well argue against the double standards and royally fucked dating system of today.

The problem is a lot of the time they don't even see that you've liked them because that feature is usually paywalled and women don't experience enough problems on dating or apps to want to pay, and so you end up with a situation where a bunch of women that would've probably matched with you, never see you.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/25 06:22 PM

You're kind of proving my point by assuming that every problem women have is the result of not having a right one is entitled to. I was referring to dating woes in both sexes when I referred to problems. Women's dating woes are a problem that is seen as societal, and due to men's wrongdoings. Men's dating woes are seen as deserved and self inflicted. If a man is single and doesn't want to be, it must be because he's a bad person. In short, women's dating problems are solved by men changing their…

Every problem men have is self-inflicted and deserved and every problem women have is a societal issue that must be solved in some way by men making sacrifices or suffering in some way That was my best PPD woman impression

Therapy will not shake that belief for me. There's nothing anyone can do to make me think that being single is a good alternative to any other fate. When I was in a relationship, those were the happiest times of my life, even when there were problems. It genuinely pisses me off to see happy couples, because I feel like they have something I'll never have. As for the last advice, I'm not sure I have trouble meeting people per se. I just don't know how to turn that into a relationship. I host bar …

I guess what I did could be read as pushy, but I don't know how to find a relationship in a way that isn't. I can't just sit back and wait for it to happen to me by chance. *I'm not a woman, afterall*. I mean you can't get to know someone without trying to start a conversation. That's what I was trying to do. I've been ghosted by women that seemed interested countless times, and now I've been blocked when I was just trying to get to know someone. How could I have done that differently? And don't…

In a vacuum this might work, but cold approaches generally happen in public places. A group of people hearing a woman say "ew gross no, you creep" will pretty much always reflect badly on the man in front of her, even if he did nothing wrong. And with the amount of women that constantly talk about how men should never approach or bother women, not taking rejection well isn't the only way this can happen. Hell, I'll tell this story, maybe I'll post about its implications on this sub later. I had …

It’s only ever “creepy” when a guy won’t take no for an answer/corners me. Maybe that's true for you, but I think most women that say this don't practice it. I don't dare cold approach because you can do everything right, and you can still be considered a creep or a bad person, even if you take the rejection well.

The problem is that if you're lonely, there is pretty much no possible avenues. The problem isn't women only wanting attractive men, because there are plenty of unattractive men that have success dating. The problem is that every avenue is gone. You're considered a creep if you approach, so you go to dating apps, but they're scams that make matching as hard as possible and paywall nearly every feature. If you don't have a circle you're shit out of luck, but even if you have one or make friends, …

Because it's shitty advice that doesn't work. "Don't look for a relationship and it'll find you" is the most insensitive bullshit response you could give a lonely person. The reason lonely people (especially men) can't find relationships has nothing to do with the amount of focus they're putting into wanting a relationship. The reason is because nothing works anymore. You can't use dating apps because women can apply superficial filters towards men based on height, politics, age, etc. In organic…

Redpillers don't want actual love, and even in the rare cases when they do, they go about it in the wrong way. In a list of problems with redpill ideology, dependency isn't even in the top ten. It's also not a trait exclusive to redpillers.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/25 09:02 PM

I have hobbies and things I'm interested in. My problem is that, if all I do is focus on them, I'm not taking an active role in pursuing love. It's very important to me, but it's not the only thing I care about. As a man, if you don't take an active role in pursuing love, you will die alone. And I sometimes see these lonely old dudes preying on whatever they can get, or wasting away drinking constantly. I am seriously terrified of that being me.

So then what should I do? Be numb to loneliness and accept that I'm a pathetic, worthless person with no friends and no relationship? What is the "normal" state and how I should react given what I've gone through?

Therapists won't help me find love, so I don't care. I want to actually solve my problem, not get better at accepting it as a part of my life. But unfortunately I am helpless, as all I hear from women on here is about how they're not attracted to strange men, and how we should stay away from them and never talk to them. Dating apps don't do shit and I don't have a friend group from which to form a relationship. There's literally nothing I can do, and therapy won't solve any of these problems. If…

I would rather be in a bad relationship than feel the loneliness I do right now. I know this because I just got out of one where my partner's drug and alcohol abuse negatively affected our relationship, and I feel worse now for being lonely than I did constantly having to deal with someone else's bad habits

That's not really advice though. Advice helps you solve a problem. What you've described is essentially accepting your loneliness. If we are to compete with (and defeat) red pill thought, we must address some uncomfortable truths 1) We must teach men how to actually get relationships, not just tell them to suck it up when they don't have one 2) For people to put themselves out there and not end up lonely, men are sometimes going to have to do some un-kosher things (ask women out in non-social se…

I think this is good advice because it actually addresses the real concern of approaching. Most advice with approaches tells men how to deal with the nearly inevitable rejection, instead of teaching them how to be rejected less. The whole point is that we want the rejection to not feel like it's inevitable. Why get better at dealing with a problem when you could just put yourself in a position to not have the problem in the first place?

if I date a guy I met online for six months, go back to the apps and see a guy that was on the apps six months ago, that's a instant no thanks So what the hell are we supposed to do? If we can't find someone in six months that's not necessarily because we'd be bad people or bad partners. You're basically shutting people off because they have bad luck

I would So if what one person would do matters in this argument, I've already said I take rejection just fine. In fact I embrace rejection. It means she actually thought of me as a human being that's worth something, or not a potential criminal. (The bare minimum 😉) women get SA, murdered, throw acid to the face, etc etc for rejecting a guy. At what rate? This is essential to your argument but there's not good data on this so you justify your shitty behavior based on a (likely small) chance of o…

Would you want to try that argument with literally ANY other demographic? My guess is no which makes you a hypocrite. Yeah you can justify any shitty action based on as miniscule a chance as possible and technically be doing it for "safety". But all this does is punish the ones who are actually good at taking rejection. Plenty of women suck at being rejected too but you'll never see this as an argument for why they should shut up and be ghosted. Also what percent of those crimes were due to bein…

When men handle rejection properly , ghosting will not be common I don't buy this at all. If all men magically became good at being rejected tomorrow, women wouldn't magically stop ghosting. What I have a problem with is when this happens and things are going well. If the guy can't take a hint, it's not even ghosting at that point. But when you're already liking each other and both flirting and accepting invitations to dates, at that point I have a right to be upset at being ghosted. But of cour…

Yes it is close to zero. The vast majority of men don't even have this as a thought that enters their mind. And no, a subreddit existing doesn't prove shit. I will agree that men need to learn to take rejection, but that does not make ghosting okay.

It's a little different for you as a woman because when you don't find someone it's pretty easy to move on to the next person. As a man, you have no idea when you'll find the next person. It might be never. I felt like I was going to die alone or that something was wrong with me because this kept happening. Were those dozens of times all in a row or spaced apart with relationships in between?

If I were actually rejected with words I would've said "okay, that's understandable" and moved on. This is not what happened. I was led on three times in the span of a month, when things seemed to be going well, and I got ghosted each time. My mental health has been fucked due to this. I feel dehumanized. I don't have the ability to feel joy anymore because anything good could just end badly. You don't get to fuck up someone's sense of worth because someone might not take it well over text. Or b…

I would say that men and women typically struggle with dating in different ways. For men it's a struggle of even finding a partner in the first place. Loneliness can feel like a struggle that keeps spiraling and you can't get away from. For women, loneliness isn't an issue, but finding the right person is. Lots of men reveal themselves to be very uncaring people, and this causes issues with women in dating. The comparison, I think is similar to this: A bad dating experience for a woman is like c…

I would say that taking accountability is understanding and accepting the consequences of ones own actions, even if negative. When we place blame for things on externalities, we are not taking accountability. Plenty of men do this as well (that's pretty much the entire incel phenomenon in a nutshell). Anecdotally I'd say women do it more, and I'd also say that society is more accepting of women that do this. Generally from how advice usually goes, if a man has a problem he needs to change. If a …

It's because you don't just get rejected most of the time. You get insulted a lot of the time. And then, if you go within your circle and you ask out a friend, you risk losing that friend if she says no. Rejection often has so much more stakes than women would like to admit. You can't easily shrug it off like many claim.

But no matter how you try to spin things, the reality is guys who are unsuccessful with women are simply afraid of them. You are so close to having the answer but then you go into a very different train of thought. The reason why men are afraid of women is very important. Men who are unsuccessful with women are afraid because all the advice they get is about how awful of a person they are. It's a moral judgment and a value judgment.
