Idk, I never follow up with an ex lol Did they even trap someone else to date them? News to me.

I'm sad about mine still. Blocked off my ex-bff of 14 years. I just wasn't a good person with her. She had been in a 10 year abusive relationship, like bruises and the works. She dumped him but got into relationship with another man who I saw had similar red flags, thankfully not physically abusive. The final straw was watching how he treated her on New year's eve, she was his slave and had to make sure everything was perfect. It was grotesque to me and I was pissed. She played along perfectly a…

I go out alone all the time. I really enjoy my company and I actively try to challenge myself to not be on my phone. (I do take pictures by myself which may look 'lonely' but it's better than being at home on the couch looking through social media.) <That's the best way I think about it. I've also hung out with groups of people who care more about how it looks on social media than actually enjoying themselves/the company they have. It makes me sad for them but they sure do make their social medi…

Yes, he had the most HV qualities I had ever seen. I freaked out. But there were also LV qualities too. I was 22, he was 29- a year out of a long term relationship. 4 Dates, no kissing/sexual moves, generational wealth, good conversationalist, nice, good family, great job-he was loaded. First date he took me to dinner, $500, told me to get the $125 steak but I chose the $90 instead lol 2nd took me to a brewery to meet his friends, they were nice and down to earth although a bit older crowd than …

Plan ahead. If you live together start packing, slowly. Move things as you can. Figure out your plan and then do it. There doesn't have to be a 'reason'. You just don't want to be with him anymore, really that's reason enough.

Did this on my date the other day. Met up at a restaurant, with mask on, let him do the talking. Ordered food, listened to him, listened to him, listened to him. So many red flags! It was great, he told on himself. After the date he told me he liked me SOOO much. Like duh, all I did was listen to you tell on yourself, of course you liked me listening to your bullshit. Red Flags he told on himself: *Once when he was drunk he told a girl he 'REALLY' liked that she was ugly without makeup.. (I don'…

I was exactly where you are not too long ago, minus married. But 5 years of the same shit. Level TF up. Do you. Do not take pity on him. He's made his shit bed and he can lie in it alone. Go out as much as you feel safe to do so. If you can't then be as productive as possible in your home. Something I did to help was I would shut his door whenever possible and I would say I don't like to look at porn addicts. He called me evil. Good, I'm evil. I also wrote down on my board all the shitty things …

Yep... My old college friend was in this same situation. Both she and the other woman were pregnant at the same time. Granted no one was married, but the man impregnanted both of them within a month of each other.. Sad part to this story is the man was shot dead in the street 1 year after the births. Both women are "best friends" raising "their daughters together". It's really sad.

Same. Random stares at grocery stores, running around my neighborhood-catcalls. I just started doing this to deter them, I put my hands up, stare straight up and say very loudly, Why God? Why this, right now? I make zero eye contact with the boys when doing this. They think I'm crazy (Good, cause I am) and quickly shut their mouth, or they turn and walk away fast. I LOVE it! It cracks me up and I go on my way.

LOL. Had that happen not even 6 months ago... Went on a date with a younger, gamer type dude. I chose the place, it was public and he literally was shaking from anxiety. I felt bad for him, he couldn't keep a conversation going and I just suggested we end the date because I don't see it going anywhere (B/c he couldn't even speak). I did suggest he talk to a therapist to help with his anxiety. What do you know, he connected with me through a different OLD. LOLOL sorry dude, no interest.

Don't think about the "what if he changes and we are happy together?". Think about the "what if he never changes and I ruin my chances with other men/financial freedom/reaching my highest potential?". YES! Great read and reminder.

Imma just throw out there that Rhianna has stepped up. Dated a prince then dumped him and interviewed saying she doesn't have to put up with crap, even from a prince. F the kardashians, I hate the influence they have over kids.

You put into words what I went through. Seemed very much like an HVM, but I only knew him for 6 months. There was no chemistry but he treated me like a queen. I think of him sometimes and wish I could have liked him. But it wasn't meant to be.

Yep, I've joined multiple work out groups of just women... When I would workout with them 5 days a week they would complain all the time.. When I befriended a few on Facebook, it was all 'love and smiles' with long captions about how great life is. They were miserable IRL. It was sad. I felt sorry for them.

I've found it to be quite the opposite. It's actually a great tool for me. Men that approach me tend to be very confident, especially men that tend to be way shorter than me, 5'10 and below. I've dated guys of all heights ranging, 6'7-5'8. I think it helps that I'm confident with my height. When I wear heels I get to be 6'7 and tower over the little men :P

lol I'm 6'2 and have put that in my profile before.... Every time I get told, "I'm shorter than you, hope that doesn't matter." Nope, but apparently it does to you. Byeeeee. (I don't respond, I just block)

I haven't checked out fire departments volunteer needs, that's a great idea! My recycling group isn't meeting and that's a bummer, but it was mostly older (60+) people volunteering, so understandable for their safety. On Sundays, I do get to pass out food to underprivileged kids in certain neighborhoods through one volunteer group. There's also another group, HOPE, that is overwhelmed with needs so I can help once a week there too. I've contacted other groups to donate any meals/clothes. (Un)Luc…

I volunteer any chance I get. Sometimes too much, because I'll put myself on the back burner. But really I love helping out and being apart of something bigger than myself. More physical aspect, I'll join sports groups/teams/running groups to be involved and stay active. I'll meet really cool people through those groups and potential friends.

My (narcissistic) mom gave me this book. I felt the exact same way and I read it way before I found FDS. It's a ridiculous book, I stopped reading it after 5-6 chapters. The book came across as pathetic.

Sadly I have a month left on my lease with my ex NVM. He's pornsick and a video game addict. So I rarely see him in the house, which has it's benefits. His door is shut until I have to tell him to take care of his dog. It's sad. He does his own dishes but that's about it. I keep the house up and picked up an essential job where I try to work 35+ hours/week. He hasn't had a job in years.

Yep, ex LVM I dated for 3 years.... I want pedicures and spa days for anything special. Told him specifically what I did not want. He got things that I did not want and I ended up selling them in yard sales. He was baffled and at times hurt, I just straight up told him I didn't want the things he bought me. LOL

Needed this as I'm messaging a 36 y/o man and his response to my question on past relationships was that he couldn't do LDR "All the way cross country"... sounds like commitment issues to me. Peace.

I appreciate the insight! Cool girl vibe is smart. You literally just described my last long term relationship. It was pathetic and so was I for staying.

I straight up ask if they watch it. My last relationship was with a porn sick LVM, so I don't want to play any games with future relationship types. I'm also now pretty protective of myself. I'll most likely be single for a while and that's ok.

Just signed up and finished first module! It's very easy to read/follow along with videos and course content. Thanks for posting! I'm honestly pretty excited to learn about my body as a 27yo.
