3	Canada's finally going after false accusers I don't see why we have to pretend rape is some uncommon crime meanwhile false rape allegations apparently happen every day. Women and men should be encouraged to come forward. Their stories should be believed and then investigated. If there's evidence to support their claims the justice system should do everything it can to convict the perpetrator. 1	Sanity Sunday on true equality The contextual arguments are irrelevant. We may be different but we are equal under the law. So if a woman robs a bank or a man the consequences should be the same.
