So apparently men aren’t smart enough to understand what consent isI agree with this. It hasn't changed my views on consent at all. It's a very easy concept to understand and anyone with passable social skills can pick up on cues no problem. It's a different thing to experience it yourself. It's the pursuer/pursued dynamic at play and men have very little experience of being pursued. On the rare occasion that it happens and it is a woman we can typically shrug it off because men don't consider that women are much of a physical threat (even though of course they… | /r/MensRights | 30/10/18 11:45 AM

Court rules women can’t be pedophilesEven if the doctor is right and her sexual gratification wasn't derived from children but rather the humiliation she felt - it doesn't matter. This is a person with no qualms about producing child pornography in which she engages in sexual acts with toddlers. Even if she's not a paedophile, she's engaging in padeophilic acts. | /r/MensRights | 26/10/18 09:28 AM
The wikipedia page on gender quality is heavily biased towards women problems. This is discrimination, yes, but it's not explicit. The problems on this page are pretty much about explicit discrimination that women face in most of the world still. I agree the male equivalent should be added to many of these, like for genital mutilation. In that case women actually have greater legal protection than men. | /r/MensRights | 24/10/18 12:50 PM

Hostility to men could become a hate crimeThese aren't hate speech laws though, they are hate crime laws. A crime has to be committed then they determine if it's motivated by one of the protected characteristics. I personally think some types of verbal abuse should be against the law, otherwise someone could follow you down the street and shout in your face for as long as they wanted without fear of repercussions. | /r/MensRights | 16/10/18 01:28 PM

It's so obvious that this is a concerted effort to stop him from gaining the SCJ seat. I'm not American and don't care about it at all but it's just a farce. The post-modernists believe this is all to do with socialization rather than nature. I suppose, with anything, it's probably a bit of both. But some rational thought should be applied. | 0 | Transgender boy wins girls’ state wrestling title for second timeThere absolutely is a solution: girls like in this story can't compete in either league. She doesn't meet the criteria. | 1 | Transgender boy wins girls’ state wrestling title for second timeWhat's closed minded about thinking a woman shouldn't compete in a league for men? | -2 | Transgender boy wins girls’ state wrestling title for second timeActually, she should not. She is not a male, so no matter how much testosterone she takes she should not be competing in a male league. There are about 390 men diagnosed each year in the UK. This compares to around 54,800 cases in women" from Cancer Research UK. "Breast cancer in men is a rare disease. Less than 1% of all breast cancers occur in men" from Breast cancer.org. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/18 02:06 PM |
Prostate cancer now bigger killer than breast cancer in the UK, still recieves half the funding and half the research that is devoted to breast cancer.Less than 1% of breast cancer diagnoses are given to males. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/18 10:30 AM
Prostate cancer now bigger killer than breast cancer in the UK, still recieves half the funding and half the research that is devoted to breast cancer.I was under the belief that this was because prostate cancer occurred mainly in older men versus breast cancer which could effect younger women. Just looked it up: average age of prostate cancer diagnosis is 66. I couldn't actually identify an average age for women developing breast cancer at a glance; but over half of all breast cancer diagnoses are in women over 70 and less than 5% of cases are in women under 40. Quite telling. | /r/MensRights | 02/02/18 10:05 AM
Man spends 3 months in jail over rape claim, during which time his brother dug up text messages on accuser’s friend’s phone that showed she planned to frame him after breakup. No jail time for the accuser!?What is the actual legal reason? I know accusers in rape cases are granted anonymity, but surely after the charges are proven false that is lifted? Especially when it's revealed that she is the criminal. | /r/MensRights | 01/02/18 06:10 PM
Aziz Ansari Skips 2018 SAG Awards, Receives No Applause When MentionedYour point about murder seems entirely fatuous. Society can't redress crimes because other, more serious crimes are being committed? | /r/MensRights | 22/01/18 09:17 PM
The Humiliation of Aziz Ansari. Allegations against the comedian are proof that women are angry, temporarily powerful—and very, very dangerous. It means to keep quiet and not talk. | /r/MensRights | 17/01/18 11:44 AM
Man saved from false accusation of rape by photo evidence. 3rd rape case to collapse in the UK in a matter of weeks due to false allegations.Your repeated mistaken use of the word "sexiest" is a delight. | /r/MensRights | 16/01/18 01:05 PM
The Humiliation of Aziz Ansari. Allegations against the comedian are proof that women are angry, temporarily powerful—and very, very dangerous.I think it's generally accepted to be around late 20s (give or take) and under. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/18 08:47 PM
The Humiliation of Aziz Ansari. Allegations against the comedian are proof that women are angry, temporarily powerful—and very, very dangerous.Indeed. I looked up this authors previous articles and to my delight discovered that her very last article was denying that any witch hunt was taking place. A little over two months and her principles fall to pieces. I wonder if she herself recognizes the hypocrisy and will acknowledge it, or if she rationalizes it and keeps shtum, hoping no-one will notice. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/18 08:46 PM
The Humiliation of Aziz Ansari. Allegations against the comedian are proof that women are angry, temporarily powerful—and very, very dangerous. He was black so I didn't want to report it and ruin his life And so once again intersectionality makes fools of it's champions. | /r/MensRights | 15/01/18 08:38 PM
The misogyny of #MeToo | The rage against Katie Roiphe exposes feminism’s hatred of women.Probably a good article but I can't get past Brendan O'Neill's hatred of anti-feminists: Forget those tragic internet threads inhabited by men whose fury with women is one part concern about feminism and nine parts because they’ve never had sex | /r/MensRights | 11/01/18 06:39 PM

8th-grade ‘privilege test’ calls out straight white males, intact families, people with moneyThose are fairly neutral, but of course they are informed by the same old body shaming narrative. Questions like "I have never felt like I need bigger muscles" or "I have never worried about people finding me attractive because of my height" would both be questions to do with self-esteem but from the perspective of female privilege. But of course we hardly need to debate this since "I am a man" is listed on it's own. | /r/MensRights | 07/01/18 10:26 PM
8th-grade ‘privilege test’ calls out straight white males, intact families, people with moneyAll these questions are created to fulfill a political agenda though. You could create another list to show that women are privileged by asking questions like: Have you ever been pressured to join a gang? Have you been assaulted in public? Have you ever been insecure about the size of your genitals? And this can run on and on. | /r/MensRights | 07/01/18 09:54 PM
