I think: Neediness, clinginess. Trying too hard. Possibly violent. Or evident bad intentions. All encompassing 3. They feel threatened. In the end, though, who cares? It's just a word girls are throwing around. You're not trying to become "not creepy", you're becoming awesome.

Edited, though I've never heard of that and haven't run into problems myself. But if it is possible, it really shows how powerful the mind is in controlling the body. I'll be checking this out later.

I think guided meditation is kind of a mistake. The idea is that you are silencing the critical voice using your own concentration, and that effect during meditation pours over into your daily life. So if you rely on an outside source, I'd think the benefits will be a lot less. That said, hypnosis has its benefits too and is also usually done by someone else. There's a lot of hypnosis material on the 'net, legal or otherwise obtainable. I just don't think it's the best way to achieve what I desc…
