oh yeah ... she has two kids with him

He was just waiting to see what she did. Also if a man refuses to wear a condom (red flag) and she wasn’t using an alternative form of bc they kind of planned this to begin with

To add on, it doesn’t seem surprising that he kicked her out before she was due. She should have left a long time ago

I had a guy I knew from YEARS ago reach out to say he missed me. We never dated or were even that close but he admitted he had feelings for me cause we worked together. They’re definitely coming out of the woodworks like crazy

Yeah further proof that furries and that whole shit is disgusting and nasty and a huge red flag. Someone who finds animals attractive is clearly delayed or mentally ill

This has happened with a lot of the boys I know. It’ll end and then months or even just one month after they come crawling back. It’s like clockwork

This post was definitely fake- if you go to his account he’s like 23 and 4’11 and talks too much about being an incel

I gathered that he was making fun of transgenders, trying to be too smart and an overall “so far up his own ass” sort of guy

You’d think at 40 someone would have more common sense

Maybe the best course of action would be to work on yourself first. High value attracts high value. If people were avoiding you even if they don’t know you, that means there’s something happening there. People don’t just go out of there way for no reason

She repeatedly posts on here looking for validation but if you look through her post history you can see the insecurity and the pick me vibes. A lot of people have brought this forward and she never responds so...

Still know girls like this actually, it is sad because they spend so much time trying to find that one person and it’s just so much desperation

Imagine glorifying a dependent relationship so much you resort to infantilizing your partner. There’s clearly something or somethings mentally absent in this couples life

No the point is this is most likely not the first time he’s shown he’s LVM and the fact she’s put up with this for ten years with a man who won’t even propose further makes this a horrible situation.

Imagine just being a girlfriend for ten years tho like wtf

I don’t think the general opinion of this group is that moms suck. It’s when women choose to have babies with LVM or try to use a baby to fix their relationship- both of which are not good. Being a mother is hard. Having to take care of kids is hard and should be recognized, but this group is against women having kids with their forever boyfriends or any of those other cases. Because yes it is hard to find a HVM when you’re a single mom with some random LVM. And if you’re having to take care of …

Never do free work never do free work. I started doing internships in high school I would NEVER do free work. Free work= your value being taken for granted. One time I was taking a course for credit and once my grade was submitted and the year was over the professor tried to get me to complete even more work and I refused. People do not respect that. I promise you- whatever major you’re going into or whatever career you can absolutely find paid work

Two years is a long time but also we have no idea how old they are. Like if they’re younger twenties and such isn’t it better to wait until post college/getting settled into your career? Idk what’s the correct move for that situation. It’s kind of off topic for this shit show of a post where she wants to propose

The mother thing hit hard- I heard a while ago that men pick partners who remind them of their mother so I started being really cautious about what their mothers were like. I know it may sound weird but if the mother was overbearing (or too absent and let her little goblin get away with basically murder) I took that to heart and I knew I didn’t want to be like that. For example: I now have a man who has a great relationship with his mom and I view her as strong and a great role model independent…

God this is cringe not even sad. You can tell through her post she knows she’s bad, wasting time and made several horrible life decisions

And the amount of work she puts in for him and then the mental gymnastics she goes through to make herself feel better is amazing but not in the good way

Also seeing them grieving from the loss of someone, how they handle holiday stress and how they navigate traffic or a packed place. All are huge indicators

We have really good communication honestly it’s refreshing so I feel like we do set up boundaries and since this is the first time I’m inclined to believe it’s more of a normal human fuck up

Waiting too long to call me and it’s kind of a special day so I had to ask him but then he was too busy to answer within a few hours, not anniversary tho! We did end up talking

He responded well and made me feel validated instead of gas lighted which most guys do which is nice! I didn’t even ask for him to but he did say I had a right to feel the way I did and that he’s sorry

That’s exactly my idea- except I did bring up what happened today which honestly in the grand scheme of things is pretty minor.

I think the only time I’d be okay with that is if his mother was ill or somehow couldn’t really take care of herself so he was stepping in to look after her. It sounds like this is not the case and it sounds like this man is 32 living at home- gross

Honestly most people who don’t have a personality seem to make up for it by idolizing celebrities. I’ve seen it so many times

I’m just not understoooddddddd /s No but for real have heard people say this, like Holden was an awful whiny baby character and is almost insufferable why would you want to be him?

It can initially be hard because people can be kind of dependent on their friends but I realized I’d rather be alone then fill my time with people I wouldn’t want to be in real life. That’s how I kind of look at people now- are they inspiring? Do they motivate me to be better? Are they someone I would want to be in terms of personality and such?

Same with Catcher in the Rye (unironically one of my favorite books because of the author but I never tell people that) and then guys will be like “oh I’m just like Holden) fucking run! American psycho, self explanatory. Or any book that’s basically required reading in high school or college.

I’m really curious as to how a porn addiction starts? Is it because of the chemicals in the brain when people get off? I’ve watched some porn before and I just can’t really understand how it happens.

I’ve dropped a ton of friends just like this because I realized their behaviors are centered around men, they don’t like seeing other women succeed and are generally low value. It’s really increased the quality of my life

It doesn’t matter if he’s an ass or not. It’s the way you respond. Are you willing to just put up with this behavior because so far you have and it’s hurt you again and again. He hasn’t done anything for you, you haven’t dated. You’re putting yourself through this situation unnecessarily. So if you want to be hooked on a guy four years younger that you haven’t dated and seems like an ass that’s for you to decide. So far you’ve just taken it- lol I would have been ignoring him far before any of t…

One thing I feel like I really mastered was that people come and go. I kind of grew up with this fear that people were always going to leave me and that I would be lonely. I realized this was a childhood fear and I tried to correct this by doing anything to make people stay- friends and relationships. But after taking a pretty big blow this past year (with some friends dying and also losing a relationship) I was alone for quite some time and I realized that- well, it wasn’t so bad. That I’m ok a…

There’s even a person who goes on a rant in that thread about how clearly she would fake harassment and rape charges? Like what the actual fuck? At that point I realized how insecure men are, no one would fake that shit and if they did they’re a LVW. But how do you take a subreddit meant for empowering individuals into literally them faking rAPE CHarges?

I got some great advice before “if you have to send him long texts and explain how he hurt you- he doesn’t care. He knows what he did” it stopped me from making a fool of myself further

The only ex I’m was still friends with was from high-school because well it was a high-school. I really wouldn’t even call relationships that young serious or anything. However, despite our “friendship” and everything, he still came back around to say he only wanted to be with me and wanted to eventually marry me. The first time this happened I didn’t pay mind but the second time this happened I realized that staying friends with exes no matter how innocent anything was, Just isn’t feasible. The…

Honestly the porn industry and women’s standards fucked with me so much during puberty. Literally I thought something was wrong with me for years and visited the obgyn so many times because I didn’t look like them. When I became sexually active I still thought it was ugly and not desirable. It kind of became an obsession and so it actually prompted me to look more into anatomy. At this point I know I’m not strange or an outlier after it took years. But there’s so many jokes about what a vagina l…

Im also curious if the argument had stemmed from something that was caused by his autism (i.e. op noticed something strange or a strange behavior and got mad and he had to clarify that he had autism)
