He sounds super rich. I factor these things in when I’m deciding how much to cry for someone

but you're still committed to only trying to date women of a certain body type? i'm not saying to throw out your standards, but consider that a great way to get to know someone is to accomplish something together. so you and a heftier lady who is also motivated to improve themselves could both get fit together, badda boom you're both in good shape and now you have a bona fide non fatty who already likes you for who you are

I thought the same thing was true. But what ive noticed is that of all the people i know who are girls, some of the funniest are either quiet or their humor is very dry but its completely spot on. Professional comedy is largely based on being a persona in large group settings. Microphones help, once there's a stage. But on the way there, think lunchrooms or something, volume and ebullience are critical to being heard whatsoever. I remember in school how the funny kids would always try to one up …

What's interesting is she's not only very experienced, she has access to all the documents before they film. So she's piecing together the story befofe she meets the people. So when they film, people sometimes think they can change her mind with their rehearsed speeches. They usually end up sabotaging themselves beyond even the facts of the case by acting like complete children. I love her show because she makes an effort to wake people up to their own idiocy. That's pretty much the only hope th…

Sort of related, but during the run up to obamacare, i noticed a clause about religious exemptions for opting out. I can find the specific rule if you want, but in the tax code there is a section covering this. (Tax code was the law cited by obamacare - think about churches not having to pay taxes for example) Anyway the thing that blew my mind was that religious exemptions only covered 'officially recognized religions' that were established before 1950. AND which groups got approved were decide…

have you considered taking your daughter over to your friend's house when it's cleaning day? i don't think 'blame' is the right word but it's undeniable that television and other imagery (even stuff like Home & Garden magazine) have a huge influence on people's expectations. that's why i like the Mike Rowe Dirty Jobs show. it's one of the rare looks at what it takes to actually make things work. it's unfortunately drowned out by the rest of television where everything happens magically thanks to…
