And other times, cops do not have the right and do it anyways. As long as you do not object, it is considered a consensual search.

Or or the worst of both worlds, try being a single father. The child she has custody of gets $400 a month from me. The kid I have custody of gets 250$. My income changed by 40,000 dollars a year downwards and I am still waiting for a hearing and its been 4 months. One time the wait took 6 months when she got tired of two of the kids and dropped them off in the driveway with trash bags of clothes in hand and I still was paying her for them. If I had been a woman, they would have gone after back c…

Which is why I urged him to get a lawyer and a dna test. The Hague convention gives him a year for this. He needs to act.

Doesn't matter in the face of a DNA test. Do you automatically lose custody of your children if the mother does not name you as a father? this starts a very short timer for deciding what's in the best interests of the child. A year. And it really does not go into the best interests of the child. President Obama could be shown to be an adopted parent in the best interests of the child as well, but he has no more rights to the child than the grandparents do. since the father's name isn't on the bi…

Uhm no. Under the Hague conventions, it is out of the court's hands as the grandparents have not been granted custody, rather they took it by default. The family courts really do not have much authority to decide where to place the child in the face of a living parent not having yet being shown to be an unfit parent. IIRC, that authority would go to the country of origin of the surviving parent. The kid counts as being abducted under this treaty.

There are several Oslo accords Edit: You're right. It was one of the Hague conventions. I always have trouble with northern European cities.

This is really not in the hands of the family court but rather treaty obligations. The grandparents in this case really do not have any rights.

The Oslo accords guarantee your rights as a citizen of another country. Get a lawyer to have a DNA test done and start motions to get custody of the kid. The grandparents have no rights to the kid, yours are actually defined by a treaty.

I imagine true pedophiles are quite rare. What inflates the statistics are the men who desire jailbait. I have seen too many posts where a guy is attracted to a sixteen/seventeen year old and is called a pedophile. While illegal in many states and against social mores, that is not pedophillia.

Soldiers give a lot. That is one of the reasons why society holds them in high esteem. You can fuck with their food, sleep, liberty, etc, but don't fuck with their pay or their families.

Doesn't it also point out that even the conservatives do not hold hold all fetuses sacred? This one is illegal to abort, this one is not. A proper moral stance in this case would be to outlaw abortion in all cases if it is so sinful.

They did for me. The ex decided she couldn't handle one of my sons so she dropped him off at the sheriff's office. She now pays me child support for him.

I'm circumsized and against this barbaric practice. My first son was circumsized, ignorance on my part due to my own youth and following "tradition". My second son is not. One thing I would reccomend is that the hospitals start passing out literature showing that it is normal to have a foreskin and proper care of it.

Actually, I was referencing her premade pancake mixes. IIRC the guy handled those chicks with a kitchen implement such as a spatula.

You're cocked up as at sludge pit at a sewer plant. Feared for his life is the qualifier. The reasonable part was when he went in front of a jury. Being jumped by two women in an area filled with sharp implements while having threats yelled at him is enough of a qualifier.

Against two women of like size jumping the counter and threatening to stab him. That's what the fuck we're talking about. He was entitled to beat them into submission, believe it or not. Hell, even under NY law, he was likely able to kill them without serious repercussions. Self defense did not require any qualifiers other than fear for his life. He had no obligation to restrict his level of force at that point. Are those two women going to jump a counter again at Walmart and threaten the people…

The cashier quickly subdued the assailants with kitchenware and threatened further beatings until the police arrived. The good ol' Aunt Jemima treatment.

Depends on the size of the bar and where it was used. Stand your ground does not apply, but NYC does recognize self defense.

Agreed. If he stated that he was paying for their meals, then he is responsible for the payment.

Thank you. My basic presumption is that the man at the very least paid for his own meal. If that did not happen, he deserves to have the book thrown at him. Forcing a waitress to pay for dine and dashers is against the law in almost every state even though it does happen.

But you would also have to make the argument that he made a contract and that the contract was binding. How prominantly was the sign displayed if at all? It is their right to refuse certain types of payment, but not payment itself if they want to be able to claim theft. If the man offered payment for his own meal and it was refused, the first thing the judge is going to ask is why is his time being wasted when it gets to court. Another thing to ask would be why none of the other people were aske…

In this case, the judge will laugh it out of court if the man did offer payment. Restaurant policy is not law.
/r/MensRights17/04/12 10:01 AM

Refusal to accept payment on the part of the restaurant does not constitute theft on the part of the man.

My first boy is snipped as I am, the second is not. I could tell that the operation caused a lot of discomfort and did not wish it to happen to the second child. I think that I fell into the trap that this was a simple routine procedure. This was twenty years ago, so give me a bit of sympathy. The anti-circ crowd was not as vocal back then.
