you really want to wait till I'm naturally separated -when we're all paying at the register, if I'm coming out of the bathroom Really, you want a guy to wait outside of the bathroom for a girl he's trying to pursue? Might work for you, but to most girls that's creepy as hell.

Maybe she was socially awkward, or maybe she was just put off by being hit on in a cafe line, but she in no way "failed as a person" by reacting the way she did. If you ask me, his approach was more or less a bit weird. Highly doubtful some friendly guy would use that same line to simply make conversation. It sounded contrived and rather forced, and if a girl is in no mood to be hit on by some stranger in a cafe, there's nothing wrong with her response.

Wow. The point is that human beings lie. It's not restricted to one gender or another, and when you attempt to convince yourself and the other indoctrinated folks on this subreddit that all women are predisposed to lying, you're setting them up for failure right off the bat. I mean this subreddit is clearly for guys who lack any kind of social and emotional intelligence to handle a relationship on their own. If you guys had any fucking clue at all you would look at each new relationship as a cle…

Never once have I said, "making assumptions is wrong." I told some other guy that his assumptions were wrong, that's about the extent of it. In your case I am indeed making an assumption off rather little information, but I'm not too concerned about it. I don't need to interject into other people's lame arguments to feel good about myself, as I ASSUME you do. Just an assumption though, don't worry it about it man I'm sure I'm wrong.

Wow. You're not preaching rocket science dude. I completely understand the point the guy was trying to make about honor. I got it from the beginning--that sometimes men's perception of of duty and responsibility (aka maintaining their honor) is not easily understood from a woman's perspective. I got that. With that being said, he still makes ridiculously broad assumptions, primarily based on his own personal experiences with women. Now I was just going with the little information he gave us. It …

Honor is a male abstraction. How much clearer can he get? Honor is equated to males, it's a male feature he claims. I'm a naive 23 year old guy and even I can see that's pure bullshit.

Honor is a male abstraction. Do not expect women to understand. That kind of sealed the deal for me in terms of his attitude towards women. edit: for anyone to think they can generalize an entire gender is stupid.

Coming from a male's perspective, this guy has some strong insights, but he's also a misogynist douchebag.

I mean, the notion of it seems weird to me because going out always seems to be a social thing with me. I think your best bet would be going to a really packed dance club and get totally wasted and get in the middle of the dancefloor. everyone is split up in there anyway, so it's all solo.

Usually what I decide to do, which takes a little concentration, is I take my left foot first and place it slightly in front of me, then I actually end up following that foot with my other foot, the right, and then start the process back over.

Doesn't really matter what you look like, it's probably not going to work 99/100 times. I would recommend smiling and continuing on your way.

I obviously have a different philosophy on seduction than you. Obviously looking the part is one thing, but you can't change your personality, you have to learn to work with it and emphasize the best parts. I'm in a long term relationship and don't think I've personally ever experienced issues with seduction, but I do understand the psychology behind it and some of the philosophy's you guys own are conceivably a bit far-fetched.
