It's absurd that OP compared a single mom to being a pornstar. My brother married a single mom who was older than him. I married a woman who was seen as "chubby" by other men. Honestly I don't care what other people say. My brother and I are both very grateful for our wives. We're happier than ever. Screw what others think, they don't matter.

Men and women both snapped over how bad dating has gotten and have now regressed into mandating the opposite sex adhere to a very specific gender norm. Women getting the ick from men sitting effeminately, men saying that women should stop working altogether, etc.

Its a curve. Men want a woman who is getting smarter, smarter, and the curve peaks at a bachelor's degree. Then it pauses there. There's studies for this. By Less intelligent I didn't mean total. I meant relative to the man. The man usually wants to be slightly smarter, so he can teach her things.

Not necessarily. Could just find a woman with an income just slightly below yours.

You're making it just about sex or platonism. False dichotomy. What about love?

Ah but it's ok for women to get the ick from men not paying for a date, from crossing our legs, from standing with "feminiate posture"

That's because of social circles and proximity. Given the chance, men are more attracted to less intelligent women and less rich women. There's a peak for the graph and its a bachelors degree. It begins to decline after a woman gains more than that. I have studies to prove it. You're half wrong. Men are only marrying women of the same status because most women are that. If we had the chance, we'd probably go lower and find women that bring us peace.

Oh the things I'd do to have a woman who could become fat and happy staying with me 😢

Alot of people fall into a paradox of purity testing.

The east isn't much better. Pretty any country with internet access will have this sort of entitlement attitude affecting women. It's actually becoming very prevalent in China, South Korea, and Japan. Its less about the country, more about setting Type of family, urban VS rural, personal values Country doesn't guarantee good women. They're impossible to find.

Yep. OP has this backwards. It's not so much that men magically hate successful women. It's that even successful women still will always lust after the more successful, hyper rich men, will give those men more respect, give those men attention, etc. Men see women's brutal selectiveness and internalize it, because we know women are biologically hardwired to go hypergamous. Also, women have the option to change themselves easily, men cannot, even if I take OPs hypothetical example. For example, if…

Fr. When women approach sometimes my mind goes "wtf is wrong with her. Why aren't men approaching her instead? Is she unable to get a man?" I overthink it and then in my mind her attractiveness goes down.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
