I remember this was a question at OLD and 90% of the guys answered it with "Agree". Do I need to say more? 🤷

Never liked Disney princesses growing up. Now I realize why because I feel like they were always so passive. Just being 'there' and being pretty, waiting until a man comes along to fulfill their lives and then it's the end of the story.

It's so sad that 'cuddling' nowadays don't mean cuddling anymore. Yikes at these lvm.

I love this. Saved this post so I could come back to this every now and then. About point 6: do you have some more hard questions you could ask him?

- Me squinting my eyes while looking at the sun. A middle-aged man saying I should 'smile'. What do you want me to do? Burn my eyes while staring into the sun?

I once went on a date with a guy and he had to drive me back to the bus station (risky I know). His driving style made me feel safe, but he was still a lvm. I totally agree that it displays men's personality. One of my male family members doesn't understand that I don't feel safe by the way he drives and then gaslights me when I say something about it. And it's not that this is his only time he dismisses my feelings about certain topics.

Yeah... Especially since it's just some rejection on a screen, not even face to face. Happy cake day!

True. And it's a red flag if a guy wants a pic with you on the first date. Then posts it on his social media without your consent. And when you say you're uncomfortable with it he gaslights you. 🚩

I have had so much fun with my (female) friend joining a dating app mainly for laughing at guys bios and weird photos. You'll get funny yet sad content for days.

Sounds like a script from lvm. Anyways, who knows he wanted to go on a last-minute 'date' with you cause some other girl canceled him.

I never understand that men on OLD are still confused after you matched with them and talk for a few days. What do you think I'm after? Just another friendship? Why the hesitation in asking me on a date. If the person would say 'no' you're not even rejected in your face, just through an online message. What's the big deal...

If I had to explain what a 'pickme' was I'd say: 'Why don't you love me' by Beyonce. Me and my friend always laugh about it because the song is catchy but it's so toxic and it took us years later to realize. Why don't you love me? (love me?) Tell me, baby, why don't you love me (why don't you) (Love me) When I make me so damn easy to love? (to love?) (Why-why-why-why) And why don't you need me? (need me?) Tell me, baby, why (why) don't you need me (don't you need me) When I make me so damn eas…

This is so true. I once asked a 'christian' guy on OLD what his favourite Bible verse was. He mentioned one of the most known verses. I said that was a cliche verse and then he got mad. I blocked him immediately.

I went on a date with a guy and he wore a hat as well. While video calling and on the pictures I saw that his hairline was receding. Whenever we would call he would only show the part of his face without the forehead. He always denied that his hairline was receding. I can't believe he really thought I would buy into his lies, because he did sent me older pictures of him with a normal hairline. 🤦

I talked to a guy from OLD and his bio said: "Working on becoming the CEO of my own company." He was the only employee lol. Also he was too busy with work to meet me for a date but still wanted to sleep with me? What kind of logic is that? 🤦

A guy I dated for a short while did a silent treatment on me on the 1st date. I was totally confused and wondered what I did wrong. I did recognized his behavior in some sense because my dad used to do it too on my mom. During the date I called him out on it and afterwards I said that I didn't appreciated if he acted so childish. I was hoping he wouldn't do it again and 'GiVinG hIm AnOtHeR cHanCe'. A few weeks later he randomly hung up on me during a call and gave me a silent treatment of a few …

"All you get out of most relationships is social validation that you have a man in your life." That is so true. I mean just the fact that family members or co-workers never fail to ask if you're in a relationship. What is that question supposed to mean? What are the intentions of asking that question. I just don't get it.

Wow the thing with the guns, knives, locking doors, touching you without consent... It sounds like some crazy thriller teen movie plot. I'm glad you made it out alive safe.

And add the over-ear headphones as well... Apparently you still look 'available'.

Oh I see I already thought the art style looked kinda familiar. Too bad someone uses the picture in a whole other (pickme) context.

Who comes up with these things... So some artist actually took time to illustrate this toxic thing... I hope he/she will find the light, and realize this is super unhealthy and dangerous.

I used to work in a store and a random guy came in. He told me I had a nice radiation around me, it was really awkward because of his pauses between sentences. I told him 'thank you' and then he left. Who knows he might have been a PUA. A year before I had the same exact same thing but I was walking outside. They didn't proceed to ask me anything, they just comment the same thing.

Hot and cold behavior. On the first date, the guy gave me a silent treatment (for 15 min) because I didn't want him to hold my phone when I showed him a picture. Then later on the date acted all romantic etc.

Yep, I dated a guy and I after a month or so I just felt really anxious, doubted myself a lot etc. I kept on seeking God all the more because I felt like shit. When I dumped the guy slowly felt my joy coming back that I felt I lost when dating the guy. I met the guy through OLD, when I first saw his pics I kinda felt that he wouldn't be a very genuine nice guy. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt... Initially he 'seemed' very interesting, until he knew he got me hooked on him and started giv…

Really lame and disrespectful! I had guys (on OLD) asking me to design a logo for them for free. LOL the audacity.

Fds helped me to see that I was dating a lvm and deserve better than his silent treatment and lack effort. So I cut him off. One of the best decisions I made this year.

Gosh this is so true. I dated this guy and apparently he was 'too busy' to text me once a day. He told me I should be able to go on without his attention, because I also in the future wouldn't always be able to give him attention. What a bs excuse. He kept playing the hot and cold game on me for a few weeks until I got finally sick of it by recognizing his red flags on the FDS handbook. Don't fall for the crumbs, you deserve more than that.

Exactly. I remember this guy from OLD I talked to for a short period of time (because, red flags of course). We got in to this discussion where I said that the convo's were boring with him. He told me he was well aware of it. I told him to just google some interesting topics or questions whatsoever. These kinda guys just really don't seem to care. Glad I blocked him. But looking back at it I shouldn't even go into discussion with him about it, they really just won't change a thing.
