I didnt cheat or slept with anyone, I allowed her to fuck “the love of her life” that only lasted a month. Threw away 8 years of my life and I have a three year old son and five year old daughter who wont know what it’s like to have a complete family. I feel the worst for them. Been single for three years now and have no plans to change that any time soon.

I understand where you’re coming from. I divorced three years ago yesterday and that first Christmas was hard explaining to everyone we’re no longer together after 8 years and two kids. It gets better/ easier after time. I dont have my kids today either but at least I know they’re having a good time at their mothers and I will get to see them soon. The pain isnt as intense as three years ago but you’ll adjust to this new change in your life. Best of luck out there and Merry Christmas 🎄

I felt like my ex-wife expected our co-parenting relationship to be like holding hands in a circle and jumping joyfully around a campfire. Life isnt all butterflies and pixies, she decided to leave and rip my heart out and decided to fuck over the kids too and have them confused as to what’s going on at such a young age.

And literally explain that to the child that way their little tantrum is aimed at the right person

Sounds like your daughter is acting spoiled and if she wants to act mad at you, then just don’t let her drive the car at all. Then she’ll realize she’s got it lucky to be 17 and literally have a car handed to her for at least 50% of time. She should be mad at your ex-wife for not wanting to do anything for her own daughter.

The worst for me was all the days leading up to court. My anxiety was so bad I couldnt sleep at night and eventually passed out due to exhaustion. I never want to go through that process again. (kids involved)

I don’t because she was a great caring person in the beginning. Eight years of marriage and people change a lot. Sometimes that change is good, sometimes not. Now she’s a completely undesirable person I would never be interested in again. But I dont feel bad about it or look back in anger. I have two beautiful kids and we get along for the most part. I have been single for 2.5 years and have no plans of dating. Im making myself and my kids happy and I wont give a person another chance to ruin th…

Another reason to stay single forever and trust no one. My ex-wife did that to me. We have kids. She’s blown through so many guys since and Ive been happily single for 2.5 years now. Honestly time helps more than anything. Stay busy, set goals. Make positive changes in your life.

Another reason to stay single, people suck. I got my kids and that’s all I could ever ask for anyways. Done with romantics because it doesnt exist.

Nope been in three long term relationships and cheated on every time. I have kids and that’s all I really wanted. Partner’s cant be trusted and true love doesn’t exist. Why bother?

Women are nothing but trouble. Get through the pain and never let yourself be fooled again.

Honestly I think so, our son was conceived and born during Covid. During this time, I wasn’t allowed to any of her doctor appointments, ultra sounds, anything. I was however able to be at the hospital but not being able to be there during those 9 months turned into her believing I wasnt there for her at all which of course wasnt my fault at all, it was the world we lived in. But yeah our marriage fell completely apart during that time. Didnt help her co-worker was hitting on her and probably pro…

I don’t think Mothers or Fathers day was in there but we added it in the “other” area. Same for Easter

It is hard not to reflect on what once was. I do try to reference my list of reasons not to go back. And how to parent was definitely one of those things. She actually still tries to control how I parent because we’re a “team” but I told her we aren’t married so we’re no longer a team and told her I needed space and have since ignored any “parenting advice” from her..

Hmm my ex-wife and I separated back in December and she’s had plenty of sex with other guys (I mean that’s why we divorced because she wanted to see what else was out there because Im the only relationship she’s ever had.) I let her walk because we both didn’t care anymore. Anyways I haven’t had any interest in anyone but do miss the physical connections. Im only keeping it together for my kids too but the weeks I don’t have them are so hard Ive kind of turned into an alcoholic because it helps.…
