The child has a right to both parents combined income-level of comfort. So the courts are “supposed” to help the child continue living a life based on that. Based solely on the child, support does make sense. If one parent makes 1.5m/year and the other 100k/year, then the richer parent leaves with no support. I think the next generations are waking up to the idea that both partners need good paying stable jobs to support their life together. 4	Thoughts on "teach your sons not to rape"? Well normally the way this works is, all people are presumed(believed to be) innocent, until they are PROVEN guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. So In this scenario I would always believe the person being accused. Until the “alleged” victim can prove they were actually a victim.
