| 7 | Housing after divorceOr an Airbnb for nicer accommodations and a kitchen. Many let you stay for a month or more if they have the availability. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/10/24 09:27 PM |
| 1 | Dividing a houseGenuine question because I’m in a relevant situation (my wife wants to nest and I want to sell the house and move on). If she keeps the house, is she required to pay me half of our equity into the house, or half of our equity into the house plus half of the excess of what our house is actually worth? Because if we sold our house we’d make an additional about 150k on the sale. She’d be making out like a bandit keeping the house because there’s a lot more money in it than just what we’ve paid. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/10/24 11:31 PM |
