6	Are you being abused by a woman? Men often don't even realize that what is being done to them is actual abuse, or don't speak up about it. I used to be, and it took me years to realize what had happened. A therapist had to inform me me that I had been abused and that it probably caused my depression. 77	Am I the only one that gets triggered by "toxic masculinity"? In my experience, people who use this term are mostly women who have no sense of what it's like to be male (which makes sense, because it's convenient for some people to pretend women have no responsbility in traditionnal gender roles). 16	What are your thoughts on Daniel Sloss’s statement in his stand-up? My thoughts are that it's somewhat true, but also sorta bullshit. Somewhat true, because rape and sexual assault are very real and serious issues that demand attention and resources. 7	The Bias Against Boys (Education) I disagree, I think it matters for two reasons: Dobson is also a raging homophobe, and his ideas have undoubtedly hurt many gay men. Not a very good voice for the cause. No one will want to amplify what a bigot says. If anti male discrimination initiatives are to be taken seriously, Dobson and others like him need to take a step back. My only criticism would be that the article argues male issues should be taken seriously not necessarily because it would be fair and compassionate, but for political reasons. 7	John Oliver, King of "x community is disproportionately affected" fails to mention men when talking about homelessness I think the point is to underline the difference of treatment. Issues that disproportionately affect women are presented as such, while issues that disproportionately affect men are not.
