Something doesn't add up. She says she wants to spend time learning yoga, exercising, and explore new hobbies. Spend time with our 5 kids and 4 grandchildren, and her girl friends She still wants to remain good friends and do things together with our family. She can still do all those things in marriage. I suggest she get a mental health check. Something is not right.

There is a high chance that either or both parents already have a tentative plan to separate, just as soon as you leave and go off to college. I would just stay out of it and instead focus on maximizing your grades so you launch yourself successfully.

The nearest courthouse should have someone who can notarize for free or at minimal cost.

The problem with mediation is parties can play along, only to ultimately not agree to anything. Wasting everyone's time, money and patience. The only value I see in meditation is to delay any settlement. Life insurance is only essential if you have shared children who are still dependents. If she wants a 450K Life insurance policy on you, she can always with your authorization get one at her own cost.

While going through separation and divorce proceedings, stay as liquid as possible. Cash is king and if you have a lot of it, get a safety deposit box at a bank to store safely. As to the 25k of CC debt, if acquired during the marriage, half of it is hers and should come off the settlement.

One 6yo kid in a 50/50 under a 2-3-2 and after 5 months, I found it untenable and the kid was less grounded from being shuffled back and forth, since Kids do better with simple routines. Switched to a 1 week/on-off, with switches on Fridays 5-6pm. Hard at first being away so long, but grew to quickly appreciate it and found much easier to schedule time with friends and manage my career/work commitments.

You can ask her and she can say No. End of discussion. In my Country (Canada), a person's mental health is privacy protected, unless a judge orders otherwise.

You need what's called a detailed parenting agreement. It helps the kids adjust well, find stability and it helps you and her have a guide to follow that you mutually decided upon and respect. Later if anything serious is breached in the agreement, it has to be cited or the agreement amended.

OP, why do you think you should now be focused and speaking up for women's issues? Everyone has had not so proud moments and made poor choices. Its not selfish to work on yourself first and figure out what will bring you personal joy, success and happiness. Especially when challenged by youth and the complexity of mental health issues. Do that while treating people, including women respectfully and you will find great people will notice you and lead you to healthier relationships.

Incels naturally migrated to TRP. Its not like the Incels decided to move to a remote rocky mountain cabin without Internet access.

Its a very natural human behaviour to feel and express emotional or vulnerabilities. Its not healthy to bottle up feelings, nor use a SO as a mental health therapist so there is a line there somewhere. If she's worthy, she will stand by you through good times and bad. If not, she's not worth it. Its that simple. Relationships with anyone should not be complicated.

NO. RP, MGTOW, I read it for interest and context in other Mens perspective on dating or lack thereof. The problem I had was where one thread devolved into condoning date-rape and forcing sex without any consent. Sadly, for some easily influenced young men, they will only find out what non-consensual sex is when they end up doing 5-25 in medium/max Prison for rape and get sodomized in jail, as all sex offenders do.

Follow RP, lift for 5h/day and take high-dose veterinary testosterone pills with a high protein shake at every meal and you'll be fine./s Seriously, I doubt you want to be something that you don't identify with. Would you tell a shy smart woman who wants to be in a LRT, to be someone else, act dumb, dress slutty and flash her tits at every male prospect? Confidence is one example that RP promotes but is actually a trait all men and women should possess. Its not alpha or beta. Trying to act all-i…

Only a medical professional can properly diagnose mental health conditions. What I do know is its very common to be diagnosed with both Anxiety and Depression.

The problem is you're following RP-lite. You "don't necessarily believe" in what they say but some parts you still do. Like saying I'm a non-drinker but occasionally have a beer. Its should actually be easy to de-program or dismiss RP. On a 1 to 10 scale, if for the sake of discussion, a 10 was considered a misogynist, rapist, domineering, women hater and RP follower who despises all women in every sense of the word and a 1 was a staunch male feminist, SJW extremist, Mangina Soy-boy who gets wal…

and what happens when OP, who hasn't necessarily had much experience reading a women's body language, reads it wrong, feels up some t&a and is rewarded with a statutory rape charge? You're fucking with fire mate if you don't get some level of consent today.

its 2018, you don't Harvey Weinstein it and just presume and come out of your bedroom naked while the movies opening credits are rolling and yell, here's Johnny, lets Fuck. Corny, Yes, but its non threatening, get the end game rolling and I find it works every single time.

In 2018, you need to cover your ass and get consent (aka, don't harvey weinstein it) but you never have you give her your game plan. If the mood feels right, say something like, "I really like you, can I kiss you, hopefully she's thinks like awww, such a Gentleman and replies, of course and then you just let it progress from there.

Women are typically their own worst critic. I think many cover their insecurity by projecting something that both they and we know they are not.

I generalized my response because every RP Man's needs are individualistic. Nothing wrong watching movies and tv shows, vlogs or checking someone's instagram, so long as watching movies is not the latest Amy schumer movie or TV shows that pass off misandry for comedy, or a man is living life vicariously thru instagram. "I" think a strong RP man needs to be on the constant look out for triggers that weaken his frame but without obsessing about it. Its much easier to avoid being eaten by a lion by…

Not keeping frame. Handing over the power of self and giving into any women without any reward. Getting into LTR with a low score woman or Dating crazies. Not getting off the couch and being active. Drinking too much. Money is power. Handing over control of your finances to a woman. Adopting blue pill behaviours like beta orbitors, feminism, not challenging others poor behaviour, failing shit-tests.

I think the answer is, it depends on the women. I've found some women are really into it and also perform well and some are not.

Great to hear. Follow your gut and the direct legal advice applicable to you and your situation. Always look after you, your kids and your job/career. Do those well and you should always come out on top and intact. good luck to you brother.

How? you aren't going to tell her and you pay the lawyer with cash for consult time. Only you and the team working for you (Lawyer) should ever know your game plan because the opposing party will never have your best interests at heart.

Good Idea, definitely meet with a divorce lawyer and don't ever let it get back to her that you did. Lawyers are typically blood sucking thieves but they also relieve a ton of stress by providing you perspective and your best options.

Its time to open a safety deposit box with a bank that you have no other dealings with and start siphoning off part of your own paycheques in cash, horde it and not tell anyone except your most trusted RP friend/family member that has little to no contact or vested interest in your wife. If you somehow regain her respect, all the power to you but in my experience, once respect is lost in a relationship, its hopeless.

There's no such thing as a non-smoker who lets themselves have an occasional smoke. Find a healthier crutch to deal with anxiety because smoking cigarettes is for addicts and losers. Neither label ups your game with women.

Back when I was 18, I decided to be more sociable and took a PT job waiting tables. I faked it till I made it and it forced me to develop small talk skills. Today, I can turn on/off my social skills on a whim and often do since I still cherish my alone time freedom.

They are obviously all talking about you as a potential. Ignore if not interested or play it out and say something like, "I have too high a standards to ever be a player" Either way, NFAR.

Love yourself first and always. Love your future biological kids second and always. Whenever in a LTR, ask yourself objectively, why are they with me and non of that Fairytale Disney crap. Always, more important to decipher than why you are with them.

Doesn't sound like his decision at all. OP drew a line in the sand from the beginning and talks non-stop about her obsession with marriage. Life is rarely, if ever like a Disney movie.

I think that's a detailed discussion for you with your prescribing doctor and life partner. Countless people struggle with some form of mental illness and yet go on to lead productive, successful lives and parenting. At least you recognize that medication can help with your condition when proper managed. Many people struggle through life without ever seeking professional help or being properly diagnosed.

Unfortunately, life is often not fair. For your health and well-being, you have to move on. This is not a good company and you have to believe that you deserve better and will find it elsewhere.

All great advice except, no CU or S&L accounts. As a ex-banker, cash in a safety deposit box with a bank/CU that you don't bank with is king. Any student lawyer can do a simple search and find hidden accounts at a CU or registered S&L and you NEVER want to be caught hiding assets. With inflation and savings rates so low, cash in a safety deposit box is the only way to go. If you want to diversify or play the market, buy some FX cash or solid gold coins. If the cash is substantial, have a lawyer …
