In chile miners are a dime a dozen, especially in the north. They make good money, so its no job to be looked down upon. Its also dangerous eg those trapped miners in 2010. But it is nothing high status. the stereotype is that miners waste all their money on colombian hookers coke and booze.

Don't you see a difference between child abuse and circumcision? If you say no then I think that you would be offending a lot of people who carry deep psychological scars from child abuse. And I am circumcised and I am telling you, it doesn't bother me.

instead of making it illegal why not still give people the choice but educate them on the difference? Instead of sinking money into a ballet proposition, why not air commercials attempting to convince people not to circumcise their child? There needs to be more discipline regarding the use of government coercion. Just because you don't like what other people are doing doesn't mean that you necessarily have to make it illegal.
